Chapter 118 Sharp Fangs (part 2)

The wind blew behind him, but he still maintained his forward sprint posture. However, just as the hammer was about to hit him, Ling suddenly disappeared.

Of course, Ling did not disappear in fact. when Ling's speed reached a certain level, the red wolf would no longer see him.

When Ling reappeared, he appeared in the air, pouncing towards the red wolf in a parabola. He constantly adjusted the muzzle of the rifle in his hand. The red wolf knew that Ling was looking for the best point to shoot. However, what Ling didn't know was that the red wolf had never thought that its huge hammer could hit Ling in a sneak attack. The attack actually came from the iron chain that came from the hammer.

Reaching out his hand, the red wolf easily caught the huge metallic hammer. He turned around and tossed the hammer, which flew out of his hand and smashed into the air toward Ling.

With a simple side turn, Ling sent the hammer flying into the air. However, the red wolf on the ground revealed a sinister smile. Ling immediately realized that there must be a plot.

But it was too late.

Ling felt a coldness in his ankle. It was because the chain on the hammer had already entangled around Ling's feet. The red wolf on the ground let out a maniacal laugh. Immediately, it swung its right hand, and the chain brought Ling's body to speed towards the it. The the red wolf raised his left hand and pulled out a double-barreled hunting rifle from his holster. The two dark gun points were aiming at Ling.

Ling used his other foot to hook the chain and stepped in the opposite direction, his entire body suddenly hurt. Under the effect of the counter force, he was thrown backward. His body was pulled back as if it seemed to be on the verge of splitting apart. However, the red wolf rifle missed his target, brushing past Ling's chest.

As the hot stream of air brushed past him, Ling felt a burning pain in his chest. Even though he had dodged the bullet, he was still injured by the stray bullet. However, he didn't have the time to think about this right now. Using the chain to approach the red wolf, Ling rolled in mid-air and raised the muzzle of his gun towards the red wolf.

The red wolf suddenly charged forward, taking advantage of the momentum to slide on its knees. At the same time, it leaned backwards to the extreme, its upper body almost parallel to the ground.

This action made him suddenly disappear from the muzzle of Ling's gun.

The two of them passed each other in that way.

Ling made a somersault toward the ground, freeing him from the shackles on his feet. As soon as he broke the chain, he sprang to his feet. He faced towards the red wolf, his body still maintaining its gliding retreat under the influence of the momentum. However, the pistol in his hand once again shot towards the red wolf.

This was the last bullet in the gun. Ling's Counterattack was so fast that it did not give the opponent a chance to catch his breath. Nevertheless, the red wolf's reaction was not slow either. Having roamed in the wilderness for a long time, he possessed a sense of danger that was not inferior to Ling. Almost at the same instant Ling fired the shot, the red wolf rolled on the ground. The bullet grazed past its thigh, leaving behind a deep wound.

However, the red wolf did not pay attention to it at all and used the momentum to jump up. As he ran towards Ling, he pulled the chain with his hand, summoning the huge hammer to return to his hand.

Looking at the bandit leader's reckless fighting, Ling was quite puzzled. It was as if the red wolf had absolute confidence in killing Ling in the wilderness, which was why it did not take any evasive actions. It would rather risk its injuries to buy time to suppress Ling. However, he didn't understand where was the confidence of the red wolf came from.

Indeed, the wolf bandit leader was ruthless. Whether it was strength, reaction or calculation, he was the strongest opponent Ling had encountered in his entire life. But if only for this, Ling did not believe that the red wolf could completely kill him. Although he was not in a good condition and could not maintain his high-intensity movements for a long time, he still had the trump card of "Rampage" when necessary.

The 12 seconds of rampage was enough to allow Ling to escape back to Phoenix City at his maximum speed. And after entering the city, no matter how arrogant the red wolf was, it would not brazenly attack and kill him.

But now, the red wolf seemed to have absolute confidence in killing him.

Why?

He knew that if he couldn't figure this out, he might really die tonight!

Although this was only his intuition.

The red wolf's figure continued to expand in Ling's eyes, not giving him much time to think.

Ling's index finger on his right hand pressed on the drum of the pistol agilely and forcefully. The drum ejected. With his other hand, he finally put Lala aside and then took out a special warhead from the ammunition bag on his waist and quickly reloaded the gun in an unimaginable speed. His right hand shook again and the drum returned to its original position. The whole process took no more than one second.

However, when Ling raised his pistol and it was about to shoot, the red wolf roared and threw its hammer three times. The huge hammer pierced through the air, bringing with it a terrifying wind as it crashed towards Ling.

Ling had no choice but to lower himself and let the hammer fly over his head. When he stood up to take a shooting stance, the red wolf had already pounced towards him with its arms wide open.

Ling felt strange that the red Wolf would commit suicide in such a way.

However, this was not the time to sigh for the insanity of the opponent. With Ling's finger pressing down on the trigger, the M500 revolver roared like a dragon. Along with the thick and long tongue of flame, the specially made warhead rumbled and flew away.

The red wolf did not dodge the attack, but only swayed its body violently. The rapid movement had caused the bullet, which should have gone into his heart, blast a hole in his shoulder where a wound as big as a bowl left. Blood and flesh flew everywhere as the red wolf pounced.

Ling had not thought that it wouldn't dodge. The red wolf used such a desperate method to give no opportunity for Ling to retreat. The distance between the two quickly closed, and the red wolf wrap its arms around Ling and tightly locked Ling in its embrace.

Ling made a prompt decision, and touched his waist with his left hand. He drew his saber from its scabbard and submerged it into the red wolf's body. It plunged into the wolf's waist, and with Ling's backhand push, the serrated side of the blade instantly cracked open the scarlet wolf's muscles, and even some of the intestinal organs in his body. However, the red wolf did not show any intention of letting go. Instead, it lifted Ling up.

"You're dead meat!" The red wolf roared.

Ling's hair on his body stood on end. This was an unprecedented danger signal!

At the same time, he saw a glimmer flash in the red wolf's eyes.

Without further thought, Ling fiercely swayed to the side. As soon as he made this move, his entire body trembled and a huge cloud of blood spurted out from his chest. At the same time, another sniper bullet shot out from his chest.

Ling saw the stunned expression on the red wolf's face. Then, the sniper bullet was pushed forward into the space between his eyebrows by the kinetic energy.

Give me a sniper chance, I'll blow his head off!

The red wolf remembered the black guy's words. However, the sniper bullet did not pass through Ling's head. Instead, it went through his chest.

As for Ling's chest, it was parallel to the head of the red wolf!

At that moment, the red wolf knew that the black guy not only wanted to kill Ling, but he also wanted to kill him. But when he did think of it, it was the last thought of his life.

At this moment, the sound of gunshots came from afar.

The red wolf loosened both of his arms that were tightly wrapped around Ling, and his tall body fell backwards straightly. He lay on the broken road in the shape of a large Chinese character, a line of blood running between its eyebrows across its angry face, making his frozen expression even more ferocious.

The snake, hidden in the darkness, bared its fangs. Knowing that the killer from Parkland had finally made his move. If it hadn't been for his swaying his body just now, the bullet wouldn't have shot out from his chest so easily, but would have directly drilled through his heart.

The severely injured body immediately made a dizzy decision after the judgement of the brain. For the first time, the instinct of survival overcame the will of Ling himself, and he felt the dark rush of the tide. All he could do was to fire off the flares George had given to each of the king slaying team before he went into a daze. Doing so will expose one's position and give the sniper a second chance to attack. But now, he could only take a gamble.

He could only bet that the assassins from Parkland did not want a direct confrontation with Phoenix City.
