A low and deep roar could be heard, as the ground in front of him exploded with a “bang”. A white arm came out of the ground and followed by a skeletal body covered in rags which crawled out of the ground. There were traces of light in the empty holes of its skull as it stared at me and Ling Yue.
The monster suddenly appearing scared me and I even quickly withdrew two steps, making sure Ling Yue was behind me.
Ling Yue seemed to be satisfied with my performance as she lightly smiled and said, “Bookworm’s courage isn’t bad!”
I thought in my heart: Fuck, my legs are already trembling and it’s not bad…...
I didn’t say much as I quickly looked at the skeleton’s stats -

I quickly looked at the enemy’s stats and I became speechless -

At this time, Ling Yue had already thrown out a fireball. It shot at the shaking skeleton and its HP fell by a fourth!

I was very pleased. I told her about the armour piercing arrow's ability to ignore 50% defense and Ling Yue’s smile became even larger, “With this, I have more confidence in our ability to finish this quest! The next kind of monsters are defense types with iron armour, this armour piercing arrow will be very useful!”
At this time, another Netherworld Soldier appeared on the side, but I still couldn’t see its stats. In the end Ling Yue told me that the Netherworld Warrior was level 34, its attack was 250-320, and it had 2400 HP.
I was level 27 and this monster was 6 level higher, so I couldn’t see anything.
