Chapter 8: Dog Bites Dog (2)
Qin Xiaomeng found herself unable to break free from Qin Wei's grasp and thus pushed the blame away from her to Bai Qingyan with hopes of running away from the aunt she feared.

Qin Wei threw Qin Xiaomeng, who at this moment looked deathly pale, to the ground in one strike. "What the hell is going on?" Said Qin Wei, her eyes cutthroat and bloodthirsty.
Though she thought herself shrewd and cunning, there is one person she was afraid of and would never do anything to rile his anger. That person was Gu Yezhi.
She knew Gu Yezhi treated Bai Qingyan like his precious gem. Even if it holds true this little white face caused Gu Hang's injury, she'd never dare to touch her else he'd kill her and have her die a slow, painful death. At most, she'd go home and let that old man handle the situation.
Gu Yezhi, the youngest son of the Gu Clan, was known for his cold and cruel personality. Whomever they may be, whether they are his in-laws or blood related, never did he place them in their eyes. He only has eyes for his wife…
Bai Qingyan looked down and watched as Qin Xiaomeng fell to the cold, hard ground. Her head seemed to have incurred physical injuries for blood fell and trickled down her face. Gu Yezhi's wife smiled victoriously, but quickly donned a shocked and exasperated countenance.
She pointed at Qin Xiaomeng angrily. "Xiaomeng, clearly you hit Gu Hang! I saw what happen before my very eyes so I hurriedly called sister-in-law and had my nephew sent to the hospital! What foolish blubber are you speaking?"
Though truth be told, the accident was caused indirectly by her, but it matters not. She wanted them to suffer. For the sufferings she's endured in the past, she'll inflict unto them by two-folds! One wants to rob Gu Yezhi of all that he possesses and the other wants to rob her of her life. All those who have intents to harm her and Gu Yezhi are her enemies.
Knowing what you've done, I can only say that you deserve it!
Qin Xiaomeng blinked her eyes. With her vision blurred, she had trouble seeing. Her resplendent beauty was now gone for she looked like a mess. Due to Qin Wei's beating, she felt dizzy resulting in her unable to think clearly. She could only speak incoherent words.
"It's not me! It wasn't me! It's really not me!"
Qin Wei did not speak, only ferociously looking at Bai Qingyan and Qin Xiaomeng back and forth. Eventually, her eyes fell on Bai Qingyan and her heart clenched. She made a judgment. It was Bai Qingyan! It could only be her!
That bitch! How dare she hurt her son?! She must make Gu Yezhi drive her out!
Without Gu Yezhi's backing, crushing her would be as simple as stepping on ants! Qin Wei's fierce eyes flashed, seemingly thinking of ways to bring her down.
Bai Qinyan stared deeply in her eyes. "Sister-in-law, Gu Hang is my nephew. How could I do that to him? Why would I do that to him? What benefit would it bring me? Anyways, I've already called the police. Fortunately, that block is under surveillance. The police will be coming soon and we will soon know the full details of the situation!"
Qin Wei harrumphed and gave her a cold sweep. She turned her head away and bit her lips in disgust. Bai Qinyan… she's five years younger than Gu Hang, but she's become his little aunt. The thought of it made Qin Wei unhappy.
Qin Wei furrowed her brows and spoke no further. She walked away and did not bother to tend to Qin Xiaomeng's injuries. She'll wait for the police officers to come before deciding to take her next course of action. It'd be good if she's able to send the little white face in prison!
Bai Qingyan smiled. "Sister-in-law, I'll call Yezhi and ask him to visit his nephew."
Qin Wei parted her lips, ready to say no, but Bai Qingyan already turned around and walked towards the stairways.
Qin Wei stared at her figure scornfully. "That little white fox… I don't know what Gu Yezhi likes about her…"
It's better that you have nothing to do with this or I'll kill you myself!
