Lou Qingwu returned to the Leaning Wind Pavilion, but didn’t find Thousand Face.
These two days that she went to the Night Prince’s residence, she used the same excuse she told Lou Qufeng, that she’d be going to a meditative Buddhist temple.
To prevent the second madam Ruan Zhen going to find trouble for her, she told Thousand Face to disguise himself to look like her and head to the temple.

He knocked and saw a maidservant that he didn’t recognise open the door.
He froze a moment before looking past Lan Bai and seeing Lou Qingwu, only then did he let out a sigh of relief.

Lou Qingwu: “This is Lan Bai.”
Thousand Face looked Lan Bai up and down before being glared at by Lan Bai.
Then he laughed as he walked towards Lou Qingwu, looking at her, “Master, I heard you were looking for me. Did something happen?”
“En. I have something urgent that I need to ask you about.”
