Chapter 89.1 - Greedy for warmth
Su Sheng immediately shook her head, “I’m not.”
But her eyes flashed panic briefly.
Lou Qingwu’s sigh grew deeper, “Miss Wan’er, I said, if you change your mind, you don’t have to worry about the agreement between us. Even if you can’t get that file, I have other methods of getting it. So, just do what your heart wants to do.”
Su Sheng bit her bright red lips but didn’t speak.
Lou Qingwu knew that she guessed right and didn’t force her, she let her think it through.
“Does he treat you well?”
Su Sheng’s hand that held her tea cup, stiffened, and after a long time, lightly said one word, “ .... yes.”
In fact, “well” wasn’t enough to describe how she was treated.

If Mu Yunqing really …. really was worth her throwing herself for him again, then, could she really act as if ‘that’ never happened, back then?
Her mind flashed back to Mu Yunqing’s apathy back then and the warmth of today, she felt like her mind was about to split into two.
But in the end, she helplessly closed her eyes, “Miss Lou, I know.”
“Then that’s good.”
She was really afraid that she’d step onto the path of no return.
Originally, when she agreed for her to go meet Mu Yunqing again, it was because she felt like Mu Yunqing wasn’t completely emotionless towards her.
But if there was still affection between them, then there might have been something else that happened then.
As long as they could communicate well, maybe there would be a light at the end of the tunnel for them.

She lifted her head up to look towards Lou Qingwu, and was just as she was about to say something.
But when she opened her mouth, her eyes carelessly fell on something and suddenly froze.
