Chapter 232.1 - Don’t want to live
On the second day, Feng Yege returned Lou Qingwu back to her bed before anyone had discovered she was missing.
When Lou Qingwu woke up, she just felt that her head was throbbing and hurting more than normal.
When she sat up, she used her hands to rub her temples as her mind flashed back to the last thing she remembered.
She remembered Feng Yege hitting her pressure points and then feeding her some sort of medicinal pill.
So where was she now?
She suddenly stopped and opened her eyes to look around.
Then she discovered she was back at Leaning Wind Pavilion.
She looked dazedly around her.
If it wasn’t for the fact that she could still kind of feel the hallucinatory grass’ effects, she really thought that seeing Feng Yege was just a dream.
Her expression was strange as she thought of the hallucinatory grass.
Her brows furrowed, what was senior brother trying to do?
She shouldn’t have said anything last night.
Normally, even with the hallucinatory grass, she should’ve still had some sort of recollection of what would’ve happened last night.
But she couldn’t remember anything from last night.
This means that her senior brother probably didn’t do anything to her, right?
Lou Qingwu let out a breath.
At the time, she was really scared that she’d answer some strange questions and reveal too much.
Knock, knock, knock.
Lou Qingwu was suddenly interrupted by someone knocking at the door and she actually hadn’t sensed anyone outside.
She rubbed her forehead before turning to the door.
Just as she was about to let the person in, she saw a medicinal bottle from the corner of her eye.
She froze for a moment before reaching out to grab it.
When she opened it, a clean scent wafted out.
It was an antidote for the hallucinatory grass which would help alleviate the leftover symptoms of the grass.
Lou Qingwu silently held it in her palm as she helplessly sighed before swallowing it.
She wasn’t worried because she was used to using poison and she was even slightly better at using poison than her senior brother.
Furthermore, she trusted him.
“Master?” Outside, Little Bell waited for half a day without gaining a response from Lou Qingwu.
She was a bit worried, “Master, are you awake?”
“En, come in.”
Little Bell came in with a tray of clean water.
When she saw that Lou Qingwu was fine, she let out a breath, “I thought master wasn’t here.”
“Why would you say that? Where’s Lan Bai?” Lou Qingwu finished dressing and began to brush and clean up.
So she didn’t see that Little Bell’s face slightly froze when she mentioned Lan Bai.
Not hearing a response, Lou Qingwu put away the silk cloth used for her face and turned around to look at Little Bell. “Are you okay? Do you not feel well?”
“Ah, n-no.” Little Bell shook her head quickly.
Seeing that Lou Qingwu had finished cleaning her face, she quickly said, “Master, I’ll go and get breakfast.”
After speaking, without waiting for Lou Qingwu to reply, she quickly left.
Lou Qingwu looked at her back strangely but didn’t think much as she left too.
After Feng Yege left the Lou residence, he didn’t return to the Night Prince’s residence immediately.
Instead, he went to the underground market.
Li Yuan saw the dark circles under his eyes and paused, “Don’t tell me you actually went back to the Medicine King’s Valley?”
“En.” Feng Yege sat down silently next to him.
