Chapter 120.2 - Waiting for a feed

“What place did you both just go to?”
When he left her last night, she was fine so how did she suddenly faint like that?
Thousand Face rubbed his still made up face that resembled a medicinal child and pulled at it.
Afraid that there’d be an accident, he didn’t dare to hide anything, “Master and I went to the Ruan family residence.”
Feng Yege’s dark eyes flashed a light quickly, something strange entered his eyes.
He rubbed his forehead, helpless, “She saw that person?”
Thousand Face froze for a moment before realising that he meant his master’s mother.
He nodded, “En, we saw her. Master said the ninth madam was in a coma because of ‘Thousand Days Intoxicated’, that voodoo worm poison so for the sake of letting her wake up, she gave some blood to the ninth madam.”
Thousand Face didn’t conceal anything and reluctantly found a phrase to describe it properly.
Feng Yege nodded his head.
The pill that he’d fed her just then was a detoxifying type pill.
It was lucky that Thousand Face had sent her here because her blood had a bit of the ‘Thousand Days Intoxicated’ poison.
Otherwise, even if she’d only gotten a bit of poison inside of her, it’d be enough for her to faint for three days.
Just thinking of how brash and reckless she’d been, his heart started to hurt for her and feel a bit helpless.
“She’s infected with a bit of poison so she’s temporarily fallen unconscious. Right now, she’ll be fine and in a bit, she’ll wake up.”
Thousand Face let out a big relieve breath as he rubbed his face.
“That scared me. Seeing master like that, I rushed here immediately.”
Luckily, he didn’t hesitate.
Feng Yege stood up, his face expressionless as he tidied up his medicinal trunk.
He looked down, only revealing a pair of pursed lips and a perfect profile.
But Thousand Face suddenly had a strange feeling that the Night Prince … seemed a bit angry.
He silently looked at his still unconscious master before peeking at the Night Prince again.
Thousand Face instantly understood why the Night Prince was angry.
He laughed hollowly, “That ah, Night Prince, I suddenly remembered something that I had to do. I’ll first leave master here, when she wakes up, tell her that I went to the Lou residence first.”
“En.” Feng Yege didn’t even lift up his head.
Thousand Face seemed to have received some huge pardon because he quickly slipped out, leaving Lou Qingwu alone with Feng YEge.
One person was in deep sleep as the other dazedly looked at the medicinal trunk in front of him.
When Lou Qingwu woke up again, she felt like her head was hurting.
She closed her eyes again until she felt like the pain lessened.
Then she opened her eyes before freezing at the sight of being in an unfamiliar room.
When she turned her head to the side, she saw a man lying on a couch next to her, his eyes lowered as one hand propped up his cheek and the other held a book.
When he felt her eyes on him, he expressionlessly looked up, his dark eyes were deep, like some sort of emotion was deep down but there was nothing there.
“You’re awake?”
His calm voice was like how he always was but Lou Qingwu still felt like something was off.
Her mind was still in a bit of a blur as she blurrily nodded her head.
Feng Yege sat up, placing down the medicinal book as he took out a vial from his medicinal trunk.
His tall figure cast a long shadow as he walked towards her.
She only watched as Feng Yege seemed to move in slow motion, pouring out a single pill and passing it to her.
She looked at the long jade-like fingers in front of her as she tried to lift up her hands.
After the poison was cured, it still left her with some after-effects, her hands felt and weak and limp, she couldn’t lift them up at all.
Lou Qingwu’s befuddled mind then made her choose the simplest method as she silently opened her mouth, waiting for him to feed her.
Feng Yege’s originally calm eyes froze as they slightly narrowed.
His body’s original dark aura immediately disappeared.
His original pursed lips subconsciously curled up.
His mood was good as he passed the pill into Lou Qingwu’s mouth.
