Chapter 21 Part 2
Zheng Dongkai: “Daji baby, don’t be scared. Come to Zhao Yun gege.”
“Get lost.”
Zheng Dongkai’s champion, Zhao Yun, was one of the cheapest champion
in the Kings Valley. However, each champion was unique in their own way
and shouldn’t be judged by its value. Any champion could be a good champion
in the hands of a skilled player.
Zheng Dongkai could play Zhao Yun very well. Yet, at Lin Chuyan and Xiang
Nuan’s current level, they still couldn’t tell whether Zheng Dongkai was good
or not.
As the Jungler who set the tempo for the whole match, Zheng Dongkai would
give instructions to his teammates from time to time. He had noticed that Lin
Chuyan and Xiang Nuan could handle their champions quite well. Their problem
was that they had a poor understanding of the game, lacking even basic common
sense. He was like a kindergarten teacher teaching them the basics while playing.
They couldn’t play for long each day since everyone had to prepare for midterms.
Xiang Nuan felt bad that she had copied homework a few times. She studied
hard to make up for it and stayed in the study room most nights. Sometimes,
she would send messages to Lin Chuyan.
One time, she was tired from studying and asked Lin Chuyan: What are you
doing?
Lin Chuyan: I’m studying.
Xiang Nuan: Oh, my god!
Xiang Nuan: You’re studying?
Lin Chuyan: En.
Xiang Nuan: That’s incredible! What are you studying? Tell me~
Lin Chuyan: Ah Ke.
Xiang Nuan: ……? ?
Lin Chuyan sent her a screenshot. He was playing Ah Ke in practice mode
against the bot.
Xiang Nuan: Goodbye. Ignore my question. #uninterested#

Midterms week was finally over. The first week of the fall semester campus
esports competition officially began.
Kings of Glory was scheduled for Saturday morning. Since there were a lot
people signed up for the Kings of Glory event, there wasn’t any indoor space
large enough to hold everyone and it would be too cold to have it outdoors.
Waiwai came up with the idea to have the event in the school cafeteria; in
exchange, he would allow the workers at the cafeteria to register for the
competition. When the young people at the security office heard about it, they
had asked to be included in the competition.
To show her hospitality, Xiang Nuan went to the entrance to the campus to
welcome her teammates from the main campus.
When the taxi arrived at the gate, Lin Chuyan was sitting at the passenger seat
and waiting for the driver to give him the invoice. Zheng Dongkai and the other
two had gotten off the car ahead of Lin Chuyan. He pointed at the location not so
far away to his two roommates: “Wow, look over there. That girl is so pretty!”
Maomaoqiu was also excited: “She’s coming over this way!”
Being a Physics major, they didn’t have many chances to see any girls. Now, a
pretty girl was right in front of them. They looked at her as if they had seen a panda.
Besides, she was coming over, closer and closer……
The three young men blushed.
Lin Chuyan got off the car and saw Xiang Nuan. He called out to her: “Xiang Nuan.”
Xiang Nuan came closer and saw three young men standing next to Lin Chuyan,
all three of them widened their eyes as if they had seen a ghost. “Do I…...have
something on my face?” She touched her face.
“You, you, you, you’re really Xiang Nuan?” Zheng Dongkai stuttered.
“Why can’t I be Xiang Nuan?”
“How are you, Xiang Nuan? I’m Daqiu.”
Xiang Nuan looked at the outstretched hand and paused for a second, then asked:
“Aren’t you Dayu?”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, I’m Dayu……” Dayu’s face turned red.
Xiang Nuan didn’t get the chance to shake hands with him because Lin Chuyan
kicked him and said: “They’re a bunch of nuts. Don’t mind them.”
The five of them walked towards the school. Zheng Dongkai and the other two all
felt somewhat uneasy. They couldn’t get over the fact that Xiang Nuan was such
a pretty girl and were surprised by the unexpected discovery since they all thought
that Xiang Nuan was just a nice, but ordinary girl. After they accepted the fact, they
all looked at Lin Chuyan differently.
He had never mentioned to them how Xiang Nuan looks. Now it was so obvious to
them what Lin Chuyan was up to!
