Hardly had Lin Xiao figured out what happened on earth, he gave out abruptly and fell into the hole where the golden characters popped out.
What was worse, before Lin attempted a move, the demonic wolf cut off his route of retreat with its bulky physique plugging up the passage, and both of them faded into the hole.
The heat permeating the hole, incredible heat, was the only thing on the trapped Lin's mind.

"If only I could walk off with any of them." Drooling over the precious stones, Lin toyed with the idea of theft, eyes kindled with greed.
But Lin's extreme happiness ended in his sorrowful screech the moment he landed in the underworld palace.

Lin Xiao groaned inwardly and kept on retreating all the way to the underworld palace while returning fire.
"Hoop!" Lin Xiao survived the wolf's attack, whose claws smashed the walls into pieces instead.
A sudden grave heartache overwhelmed Lin Xiao, he couldn't bear with the monster demolishing the multi-colored spiritual radiant stones.
He spared an instant to snap up one piece and attempted to consume energy from it, but the next minute he had a fit, as it was not a holy stone at all but an unusually hard diamond. Years of broil by the multi-colored spiritual flames applied an illusive coat on it, no wonder Lin was mistaken.
Now gone were multi-colored spiritual radiant stones, Lin got all steamed up by the swaggering wolf.
Now that the underworld palace was rendered valueless, dispelling Lin's misgivings were through and through. He started tackling the wolf and kept on retreating while fighting until he unknowingly made his way deep into the palace.
Not knowing what he tripped over, Lin missed his step and evaporated right in front of the wolf.
Stupefied by Lin's sudden disappearance, the wolf gave off furious howls and had a few whirls. Then it came to its sense and continued with cultivation, appearing to wait for Lin's voluntary return.
But for Lin's part, he also found his situation hard to take. To choose the lesser of two evils, he'd rather fight the demonic wolf than stay in the hellish place.
He stayed at a sealed cubicle, where horrendous heat and dampness kept tormenting him, to which the underworld palace per se was no comparison. Compounded with the deafening boom behind him, it seemed something was gonna pop out anytime.
His increasingly blurred vision and irresistible dizziness were a signal of severe dehydration, and he would have ceased to be right here if it went on like this.
Lin Xiao tried to feel his way out here in desperation, but his attempt led nowhere, as there was no opening gear at all, nor were any tactics. Yes, he was trapped!
But he made the last-ditch attempt by hitting against a wall with his remaining energy, which still ended in vain.
The following attempts were no different from the first one, swinging him round to look at the wall behind him, which boomed nonstop, indicating something hiding inside it. But Lin would rather carry on hitting the wall than sit and wait to perish.
