The bell of the hotel rang several times before Ye Tian woke up. When he sobered, it was already night o’clock. He hurriedly washed up and ran to take a taxi to Yangcheng City's business area.
This was the day he had promised to register with Su Mei for their marriage certificate at the Bureau of Civil Administration. “I do have an appointment with her.” Ye Tian was anxious when he found the woman did not believe him. “I came to take her to register a marriage certificate. My name is Ye Tian.”
Register a marriage certificate? The woman burst into a laugh. If he had not mentioned this, she might have checked if he really had an appointment with the Chairwoman. Since he had said this, no doubt he was some bastard who had come here to make troubles.
“Look at yourself! Leave or I will call the guards.”
Ye Tian balled his fists tightly, but he finally released them.
“If you don’t want to notify her, I can go find her myself.”
A guard walked over to them. ”What’s wrong?” he asked.
“Leader Zhao, This young man claimed that he is our Chairwoman’s fiancé, and he has come to take her to register today.”
The leader of the guards was a big one, and when he heard the woman’s explanation, his face turned angry toward Ye Tian. “Hey, guy, go somewhere else to have fun. Ye Tian’s eyebrows twisted. He had forgiven the woman several times, but now the guard leader also treated him badly. He had lost patience with them. He said again, “If you don’t want to notify her, I will go find her myself.”

When Ye Tian grabbed his wrist tightly, the guard's big body was already in motion and he fell heavily over Ye Tian's outstretched leg.
He tumbled to a stop and stood up awkwardly. He grew angrier when he saw his uniform was dirty, and it all happened in front of a woman.
The lead guard rushed to beat Ye Tian again, complaining. “Think you're a bad-ass? Come on, let me kill you!”
Ye Tian didn't like this challenge.
“Stop!” someone yelled at them. It was Su Mei.
“Finally, you have come.” Ye Tian relaxed when he saw her. “I have told them we should go to register, but they refused to believe.”
The lead guard and the woman both thought that he was insane to say this before Su Mei. They smiled and waited for Su Mei to humiliate him for them.
Su Mei’s face contorted with annoyance, as they expected. And she was annoyed with Ye Tian as she said to him, “Why are you so late? The bureau will close soon.”
