Albeit an elder, Jin Pingyue looked like in her thirties to forties due to her perfect skin care and cultivation practice. She did not respond Gu Tianba in a respectful manner, as if talking to a youth, and made him uncomfortable.
Sulky, he turned his head to the other side and snorted, ignoring Qin Pingyue's remarks.
Qin Zongheng laughed secretively for Gu Tianba treated Jin Pingyue as an arrogant woman.
Clan Qin and Clan Gu needed to confront many mutual enemies. Though displeased with Gu Tianba, Qin Zongheng did not want Gu Tianba's offense to bring any trouble to Clan Gu, and planned to remind Gu Tianba.
However, Gu Yuetao stood up ahead of him and kneeled down to Jin Pingyue unexpectedly.

Qin Zongheng was also surprised at Gu Yuetao's smartness, and realized that Clan Gu would be stronger if led by him in the future.
"How shameful! You disgrace me!" Gu Tianba' thunder-like growl embarrassed Gu Yuetao.
Qin Zongheng was eager to remind his grandpa but did not find a good chance in front of so many people, sweat standing on his forehead.
At first, Jin Pingyue found it unnecessary to bother herself due to Gu Tianba's impoliteness. But now, she could not hold on her temper any longer.
As Gu Tianba yelled, torrential vital energy rolled out from Jin Pingyue, nearly covered the skyline, and rushed towards him.
Instantly, Gu Tianba felt that he was thrown into chill wind from warm breeze. The skin all over his body tightened, pores closing, numbness spreading to his scalp, and frigidity drilling in his bones as if thousands of vipers creeping on his spine.

Every trace of his vital energy was infused with fear controlled by her, and could not pool together, let alone ward off her repression.
His vital energy listened to his words in the past, but now it ran wildly in his body without any capability of protection or even counterattack.
"You…you…" Gu Tianba's copper face blushed, and astonishment filled in his wide-open eyes.
