Gu Jiao Wu held Qiao Tan Yuan’s neck, her sweet taste made him forget about his pain.
Qiao Tan Yuan pulled back before Gu Jiao Wu did something more reckless.

‘Gu Jiao Wu, you’re injured and you want to…’ Qiao Tan Yuan said and blushed.
Gu Jiao Wu wrinkled Qiao Tan Yuan’s clothes when they were kissing, and her chest was still heaving after their kiss. If he wasn’t injured, her chest would be heaving under him.
‘You don’t have to look at me like I’m a starved wolf,’ Gu Jiao Wu said. ‘I can’t do anything to you in my condition.’
Gu Jiao Wu felt chest pain, took a prescribed painkiller and napped.
Qiao Tan Yuan prepared a sponge bath for Gu Jiao Wu. When he was unconscious she wasn’t self-conscious giving him a sponge bath. But knowing he could wake up any time, made her shy.
When Gu Jiao Wu woke up, Qiao Tan Yuan was holding a wet towel. He watched water drops drip onto her clothes, and felt aroused.
‘You… have you looked enough?’ Qiao Tan Yuan asked. ‘What is there to look at?’
‘If you’re not looking at me then how do you know I’m looking at you?’ Gu Jiao Wu teased.
‘I can feel you looking at me,’ Qiao Tan Yuan said. Gu Jiao Wu was looking at her like he could see through her clothes. ‘Stop looking at me otherwise I’ll won’t help you have a sponge bath.’
‘OK, I won’t look at you anymore,’ Gu Jiao Wu said. He yawned and closed his eyes. ‘I’ll sleep. Satisfied?’
Qiao Tan Yuan was suspicious Gu Jiao Wu was pretending to sleep.
Qiao Tan Yuan put the wet towel in the warm tub of water on the table. Then she took off Gu Jiao Wu’s hospital gown. She washed his thighs, turned around to wring the towel into the tub and when she turned back, she gasped. Why was Gu Jiao Wu aroused in his sleep?
‘Jiao Wu…’ Qiao Tan Yuan called.
Gu Jiao Wu didn’t react, but Qiao Tan Yuan was suspicious why he was becoming more erect.
‘Gu Jiao Wu…’ Qiao Tan Yuan called. ‘Gu Jiao Wu, sit up for me.’
Gu Jiao Wu kept his eyes closed. Qiao Tan Yuan tossed the towel into the tub.
‘Gu Jiao Wu, if you keep pretending to sleep then I won’t care about you anymore.’
Gu Jiao Wu opened his eyes.
‘Why are you so noisy?’ Gu Jiao Wu asked. ‘I was sleeping, but you woke me up.’
Qiao Tan Yuan pointed at Gu Jiao Wu’s erection.
‘How can you say you were sleeping?’ Qiao Tan Yuan asked.
‘Why are you wrongly accusing me?’ Gu Jiao Wu said innocently. ‘How can I control something that has a mind of its own?’
‘You… you… turn it back to normal,’ Qiao Tan Yuan said.
Qiao Tan Yuan couldn’t finish washing Gu Jiao Wu’s body if he was in an erect state.
‘It doesn’t listen to me,’ Gu Jiao Wu said.
Gu Jiao Wu didn’t know how Qiao Tan Yuan expected he wouldn’t be react to her caresses.
‘You… aren’t you injured?’ Qiao Tan Yuan asked.
Qiao Tan Yuan didn’t know how Gu Jiao Wu could become erect so quickly.
‘My lung is injured,’ Gu Jiao Wu said. ‘But below my chest, everything is healthy.’
Gu Jiao Wu was happy to see Qiao Tan Yuan’s embarrassed state. Memories of the old Qiao Tan Yuan were blurry. The Qiao Tan Yuan in front of him was loveable, and he could tolerate all her childish antics.
‘Gu Jiao Wu…’ Qiao Tan Yuan said.
Qiao Tan Yuan wondered if Gu Jiao Wu thought she could control his erect state.
‘Don’t call me anymore,’ Gu Jiao Wu said.
Gu Jiao Wu hadn’t touched Qiao Tan Yuan for a long time. If he heard her call him one more time, he would explode.

Qiao Tan Yuan wanted to throw the tub of water onto Gu Jiao Wu’s body to cool him down. But she didn’t want to hurt him. She stood, picked up the tub of water and strode to the bathroom.
Gu Jiao Wu watched Qiao Tan Yuan walk to the bathroom then he looked down at erection and sighed pitifully. It was painful when there was a beautiful meal in front of him, but he could only look and not eat. He wanted to ask Qiao Tan Yuan to use her sweet mouth to help him find release. But he knew she would be embarrassed and angry if someone suddenly walked into the room then she would starve him for a longer period.
Gu Jiao Wu pulled the bedsheet over his body, closed his eyes and endured. A long time later, he fell asleep.
Qiao Tan Yuan purposely stayed in the bathroom for a long time. When she returned to the bed, Gu Jiao Wu was sleeping. Before she didn’t want him to pounce on her, and injure himself more. A part of her was disappointed he was sleeping. Images of them in bed together on the island made her crave for his touch. It was a good thing he didn’t see the look of desire in her eyes otherwise he would tease her mercilessly.
A couple of days later, Gu Jiao Wu recovered. Xiao Lam reported to him that Cheng Yi travelled to Zheng Jiu Ju’s home to look for her. Gu Jiao Wu was happy to hear the good news. He wanted Cheng Yi to live a happy life even if Cheng Yi had amnesia.
The moment Gu Jiao Wu got out of bed, Qiao Tan Yuan returned to the room.
‘Jiao Wu, what are you doing out of bed?’ Qiao Tan Yuan asked.
‘I’ve stayed in bed for six days,’ Gu Jiao Wu said. ‘If I stay in bed any longer, my body will stop functioning.’
Qiao Tan Yuan remembered the doctor advised Gu Jiao Wu needed to stay in bed for seven days so he wouldn’t need more stitches.
‘If you don’t go back to bed, I’ll ask aunty Wang to come here and take care of you,’ Qiao Tan Yuan threatened.
‘Aunty?’ Gu Jiao Wu asked. He sat on the bed, and frowned. ‘Why are you calling my mum aunty?’
‘If I don’t call your mum aunty then am I supposed to call her uncle?’ Qiao Tan Yuan asked.
‘You’re supposed to call her mum,’ Gu Jiao Wu said. He pulled Qiao Tan Yuan onto the bed next to him. ‘Am I wrong?’
‘Right now I’m Miss Qiao,’ Qiao Tan Yuan said. ‘Of course I’m supposed to call her aunty.’
‘Miss Qiao!’ Gu Jiao Wu called and hugged Qiao Tan Yuan tightly.
‘Gu Jiao Wu, are you crazy?’ Qiao Tan Yuan asked. ‘Your chest wound.’
