The robbers in the vehicle were not the only ones who were dumbstruck. Even Zhao Qingxue watched all that with an incredulous face.
‘How much strength does he possess to hold back a vehicle with one arm?
‘Is that guy still human?
‘No, he’s not a normal human!’
Zhao Qingxue suddenly came to her senses. She finally realized that Tang Hao was not a normal human. Not only he could capture ghosts, but he also had amazing medical skills and superhuman strength.

Tang Hao dusted his hands and breathed a sigh of relief.

The four people in the vehicle trembled and looked at each other dejectedly.

Then, they got out of the minivan defeatedly. They stood in a row while still looking at Tang Hao with fear and respect.
“Officer Zhao!”
Tang Hao shouted at Zhao Qingxue as he patted them down.
Zhao Qingxue quickly came over and handcuffed the robbers.
“Ouch! Can’t you be a little gentler, beautiful lady?” One of the robbers shouted exaggeratedly.
“Shut up!” Zhao Qingxue yelled at him.
Then, she walked over to Ma Qiang and pulled off his ski mask.
Zhao Qingxue regarded the face and smirked. “You must be Ma Qiang, right? You’re a smart one for trying to change your appearance! Unfortunately, I could still recognize you.”
Ma Qiang was shocked.
He thought he was unlucky that the beautiful police officer and the superhuman freak, happened to be there, but he did not expect that they already had their eyes on him.
That made him feel even more defeated than ever.
“Dammit, a girl got me!” Ma Qiang grumbled.
They waited on the spot for a minute or two before the piercing wail of police sirens were heard.
Two police cars sped toward them and stopped at the side of the road.
A squad of police officers came down. They were in a hurry to stop the crime but were shocked when they saw the scene.
‘Isn’t that the beautiful police officer, Zhao Qingxue, from our station? And isn’t that the famous Tang Hao?
‘Why are they here?’
Then, they turned their eyes toward the few figures who were squatting on the floor and became even more shocked than ever.
‘Don’t tell me those are the robbers?’
“Officer Zhao, you…”
“These four people are the robbers. The loot is in the minivan, you can check that everything is still there. Right, this one is the notorious wanted criminal, Ma Qiang.”
“What? He’s Ma Qiang?” The police officers exclaimed.
“Hah! He changed his face!”
“Oh, Officer Zhao! You’ve done a good job!”
Not only had she perfectly captured all the criminals in the case, but she had also nabbed a notorious wanted criminal in the process. It was an extraordinary feat. All the police officers regarded her with respect and admiration.
Then, they started to make an inventory of the loot.
Seeing that everything was settled, Tang Hao waved goodbye to Zhao Qingxue and went back home.
The next day, around noon, Tang Hao received a call from Zhao Qingxue.
“Thanks so much for yesterday, Tang Hao!” Zhao Qingxue said gratefully.
“Don’t mention it. It’s nothing too difficult!” Tang Hao said.
“I’ll treat you for lunch today. Captain Zhou and the others will be there too!”
“Alright!”
“We’ll meet at the restaurant next to the police station. Come over whenever you’re ready!”
When Tang Hao arrived at the restaurant and entered the private room, he saw Captain Zhou and a few other police officers from the criminal police division.
“Hey, Brother Tang! Long time no see!” Captain Zhou stood up and excitedly shook hands with Tang Hao.
The other police officers also stood up and greeted him.
“Tang Hao!” Zhao Qingxue shouted excitedly.
She was not in uniform today.
“Come and sit here, Brother Tang,” Captain Zhou, who was sitting next to Zhao Qingxue, shifted a little and made some space for Tang Hao.
“I’ve heard all about it from Lil Zhao. You were very brave yesterday!” Captain Zhou said after Tang Hao sat down. “Lil Zhao could capture the criminals and it’s all thanks to you. Her superiors are considering promoting her and transferring her to Provincial City!”
Tang Hao was surprised when he heard that.
He was not sure about how the promotion system in the police force worked, but being promoted from the district to the provincial level after a successful bust did not sound normal.
Captain Zhou noticed Tang Hao’s doubt and explained, “Don’t you know that Lil Zhao comes from a family of police officers? She has connections in the provincial headquarters.”
Tang Hao was surprised by that revelation. He turned to look at Zhao Qingxue.
“It’s not unexpected, Brother Tang. Haven’t you wondered why a beautiful woman like Zhao Qingxue would enroll herself in this challenging job? That’s because her family members are all police officers,” Captain Zhou explained.
Tang Hao cupped his fists to congratulate Zhao Qingxue.
“There’s nothing to congratulate me about!” Zhao Qingxue rolled her eyes. “Alright, I’m calling the waiters to serve the dishes.”
Lunch was soon served, and the people started happily eating.
However, Captain Zhou and the others had to go to work later and could not drink alcohol. Only a few of them could.
Zhao Qingxue was very happy and drank a lot of alcohol. Her face soon turned red, which added to her charm.
“You should drink less, Officer Zhao!” Tang Hao advised her.

Zhao Qingxue was heavily tipsy when the meal ended.
“You… You all wait here, I… I’ll go settle the bill,” Zhao Qingxue said with her head tilted, rummaging through her handbag for her purse.
She did not manage to find her purse for a long time, perhaps because she was drunk.
Tang Hao was speechless when he saw that.
“I’ll get the bill then!” Tang Hao stood up and went to pay the bill.
“Hey, Brother Tang, we’ll have to get back to work. I’ll leave Lil Zhao to your care. Please send her back home!”
Captain Zhou and the other police officers quickly stood up and left the scene. Only Tang Hao and Zhao Qingxue were left in the room.
Tang Hao was speechless when he saw that.

“We should leave, Officer Zhao!”
Tang Hao could not do anything else.
“Uhhh,’ Zhao Qingxue mumbled a reply. She stood up but her legs were wobbling. Her face was deep red and her eyes were not focused.
She was wearing high heels, and she nearly fell down after taking a few steps.
Tang Hao could not do anything else but to help her walk downstairs and carry her into his car.
