Yan Shuyu was too tired to have an appetite and Zhang Yuanjia and Zhou Yi had too many snacks at the amusement park, so they weren’t very hungry either . All three of them agreed on having porridge for dinner . Yan Shuyu ordered Chaoshan clay pot porridge for dinner . She also ordered two orders of salt and pepper duck chins in addition to that .
“I can have an entire order of duck chins on my own . You two are to share the second order . No fighting over my share . ”
The wealthy little young master had never had duck chins before and had no idea that they were even edible . There was a lot of hesitation on his face . Zhang Yuanjia took his hand in his and explained it to him . “This really is very good . You need to trust Mom in her taste in food . Everything that she says is good, is good . ”
Her son was short of saying that she was a foodie and that all they needed to do was to listen to her . But that did not bother Yan Shuyu one bit . She nodded complacently and said, “Exactly . There will always be good food when you are with me . ”
The adult and two children rested for several minutes at home before the little delivery brother brought their dinner up . Yan Shuyu picked up the dinner table briskly before she sat down on the chair . The two little kiddos stood on the side and the three of them finished the entire bucket of clay pot porridge and the duck chins . Zhou Yi, who had no idea how to eat them at the beginning, finally started clutching them with both hands and gnawing on them . Now he was even licking his own fingers just like how his Aunty Yan and his little buddy did .
Savoring the taste that was still lingering on her tongue, Yan Shuyu took the little carrot heads to have their mouths wiped clean and their hands washed . They couldn’t bath immediately after they ate, so she turned the television on for them . “You get to watch cartoons for half an hour before you go take your baths . ”
Yan Shuyu took the opportunity to remove her makeup and washed her own hair . Just six months ago, she was still a delicate girl who would not even leave the house without washing her hair first . “Poor thing, Yanyan . Take a day off tomorrow and get some much-needed rest,” said the boss gently .
“Um, I think it’d be more relaxing if I go into work . ” Yan Shuyu had it all planned out already . “I will drop them off the musical institution early tomorrow morning . Instructor Liu will drop them off at the coffee shop in the afternoon, and they can wait for me to get off work there . ”
She wouldn’t even take off work early anymore . She could get off at 8 PM and just tuck the two little kiddos in when they get home . That way she wouldn’t need to play with them and wear them out . Perfect .

Boss Zhou gave her a thumbs up secretly and gave her a very loaded smile . “That is a good plan . ”
Yan Shuyu did not pick up the subtext in his words . She merely hid inside of the bathroom and complained . “When you return tomorrow, you really, really need to pick up Xiao Yi . When him and Yuanbao are together, they are too rambunctious . ”
Boss Zhou smiled good-temperedly . “Okay . Whatever you say . ”
Yan Shuyu, still a bit worried, asked, “Are you sure you are returning tomorrow?”
Something else seemed to have crossed the boss’s mind and his smile became even more tender . “Yes, come hell or high water, okay?”

At this point, Yan Shuyu was ready to end the conversation and go to bed . The boss suddenly asked, “You promised to come and pick me up from the airport before . Are you still coming?”
Yan Shuyu didn’t think he’d still remember that, but she did promise that and had no intention of going back on her words . “Of course . What time tomorrow?”
“I don’t know yet . My time is pretty flexible given that it’s my private plane . ” The boss explained patiently . “I’ll let you know when I take off . ”
Yan Shuyu couldn't help but thought enviously to herself: uh huh, private plane . Oooh, big deal . But she finally nodded . “Okay . I am turning in now . I will see you tomorrow . ”
