Chapter 7 – White Rabbit Creamy Candy
Oldman Dalaman smiled a little, and his face was full of playfulness. “Strange, there exist a champion that even I can’t detect. Ohoho, when those fellows learn of the existence of this mysterious champion they are bound to fight for him.”
In the forest.
Lin Ling split the wild fruit he has just picked in two parts with his hands. One part was directly thrown into his mouth while the other was handed to Annie. He said to her: “Eat this Annie, I have eaten this fruit before so is not poisonous, also it tastes pretty sweet and is filled with juice.”
Standing behind him, Annie stretched her neck and looked at the half fruit in curiosity.
As a blessed daughter of the heavens, Annie usually eats the best food made of the best ingredients in the world. She picked the piece of fruit Lin Ling’s gave her and when she heard the word “sweet”, instantly took a bite with her little mouth. But after tasting it, she pouted her cheeks and said: “Big brother you deceive people! This fruit is incredibly bitter! Annie is angry at you now!” This little missy temper flared up, and tossed the half fruit to the ground with her hand. “Oh…” Said Lin Ling as he embarrassedly scratched his head. To tell the truth, he nearly died of starvation in the forest. This fruit was the first edible thing he encountered, and as such, it was the most delicious heavenly fruit to him. And even if he eat it now, he just find it a little sour, but not to the point of calling it bitter. It doesn’t taste that bad, does it?
Lin Ling looked at the piece of fruit Annie threw to the ground with pity, and then picked it up carefully.
He threw the remaining fruit into his mouth and swallowed it after chewing a few times. He rubbed his hands on his clothes to clean them up, then he looked at Annie who saw what he did in disgust. She pouted and crossed her arms.
If you were to get lost in the jungle, then you would become like Lin Ling, reluctant to waste even half a fruit.
Looking at Annie with her arms crossed in front of her chest and her face averted to the sided in displeasure, Lin Ling didn’t know what to do.
Before today, Annie has always lived a life of luxury, and she only ate the best of fruits at her home. So when he gave her a wild fruit he randomly picked in the forest, she found it extremely bitter. Lin Ling came to realize his mistake only after he gave her the fruit.
The loli controls the lolicon, that is the natural order of things. Although he would never dare to annoy this little girl, now that she was angry Lin Ling didn’t know what to do.
Regardless of how Lin Ling tried to comfort Annie, she still maintained a look of indifference. This felt like someone just poured salt on his heart.
“Shit, if I knew something like this would happen, I would have played more GAL games on earth. Maybe that way I would know how to deal with a girl’s tantrum. Now there’s no chance to do so…” At this thought, Lin Lin became discouraged. He sluggishly squatted on the ground like a ball.
Living in the forest for so long, whatever was inside of his trousers was completely disregarded. The dirt on his trousers only made it more so.
So when a small white package fell off his pocket, Lin Ling thought his eyes were playing tricks on him.
“These…aren’t these white rabbit candies?” Looking at the white package of sweets lying on the ground, Lin Ling fell into a deep recollection of memories.
The day of his crossing, Lin Ling’s roommate Xiao Li said he had a date with his girlfriend, so he didn’t eat the entire bag of candies he bought that morning. He offered the rest of candies to Lin Ling, who just threw the little package of white rabbit candies inside of one of his pockets and then completely forgot about it.
Lin Ling happened to be wearing one of those trousers with a lot of pockets, and he didn’t realize there was an entire package of candies in one of them.
Tears started to fall down from his face as he picked the package of white rabbit candies from the ground. He blowed the dust from the candy’s surface with his mouth and smiled. “You damn trousers had something like this all the time while I was dying from hunger!”
There must be at least 10 candies inside of this package! If he could, Lin Ling would definitely catch his roommate into a big hug.
Because thanks to him, he finally thought of a way to appease Annie.
Children love sweets, that’s a fact. Specially soft and delicious sweets like this white rabbit candy. In Lin Ling’s eyes, this candies are more precious than gold! Not only because of their high calories content, but also because they can surely help placate this angry loli!
“Little Annie please don’t be angry, it was all big brother’s fault. If you can forgive big brother, then I’ll give you some candies!” At the mention of the word “candy”, Annie’s little ears suddenly moved. Her indifferent expression gradually disappeared, but she still tried to look angry. “Hey! Don’t treat Annie like a child! Annie’s not a small…Wow!”
Before Annie finished speaking, Lin Ling took a white rabbit candy and threw it into her mouth. Annie subconsciously bit it, and a rich milky aroma and a sweet taste washed conquered her taste buds. Her expression grew exaggeratedly cute, and her big wide eyes looked at Lin Ling. She chewed the candy inside of her mouth with an expression full of happiness.
Seeing this, Lin Ling was instantly relieved. I looks like Annie was completely conquered by the power of sugar. Although she didn’t say anything, her body was unexpectedly honest.
“Big brother, can you give Annie one more candy pleasseeee?” Asked Annie with excitement, waiting for the candy with her hand extended.
“…” Lin Ling was silent for a moment. He only has less than ten now, and he needs to keep some for when a similar situation arises. He can’t just give it all to her at once. “No, this is really precious for big brother. I have treasured it till now, and if a didn’t meet little Annie in the forest, maybe big brother would have waited to eat it just before he died”
“Is this candy really that precious?”
“Yes!” Lin Ling nodded heavily. It was absolutely very valuable. If he didn’t encounter Annie, they would be the last hope of Lin Ling.
