“Yeah…” Seeing how he was discovered by Vi, Lin Ling coughed and immediately came with an excuse. “You misunderstood me big sister. I wasn’t looking at your chest. In fact, I was looking at your face all the time....”
“What?!” Vi’s heart suddenly skipped a beat. She secretly said to herself: “Sure enough, this guy towards me…”
“Keke…big sister, I think you misunderstood.” Seeing Vi’s flushed face, Lin Ling discovered the ambiguity of his words, so he quickly tried to explain: “In fact, I was thinking that if you were to remove the heavy makeup on your face and changed your hairstyle to something more normal, then you would be really beautiful.”

“Really!” Her tone changed swiftly after that. Without caring about the people around them, Vi clasped her big hextech hands on Lin Ling’s shoulders. Her voice was trembling slightly. “You don’t hate me?”
“Yes!” Enduring the severe pain from his shoulders, Lin Ling replied: “Is just that I would prefer looking at a clear-faced big sister way more than one with a deliberately heavy makeup.”
“Then what kind of hairstyle do you like?!” Vi asked once again as if to seize the last straw. “Double horsetail? Shawl short hair? Shaved head…” Vi continued to list a lot of hairstyles, every single one more outrageous than the one before. Finally, Lin Ling couldn’t continue hearing.
“An ordinary style is okay, like ponytail. Big sister is a beautiful woman after all. You don’t need to dress up excessively!” Said Lin Ling with his patience reaching the limit with Vi’s ramblings
“What are you saying!” This was the first time Vi was being praised by her beauty, which made her feel too shy for a while. She released her grip on Lin Ling’s shoulders and with her right hand covering her cheek, she pushed Lin Ling with her other hand.
“Hey!” Poor Lin Ling suddenly felt as if he was hit by a rhinoceros and fell to the ground at once.
If you want to work with Vi, this is the sort of thing you must be prepared to withstand. Lin Ling has become accustomed to this long ago, and because of his continuous interactions with Vi, his body learnt to take a good beating!
According to what Caitlyn secretly told Lin Ling, It wasn’t like Vi was always without a partner, but it was simply because of her “accidentally” sending her partners to the hospital. After the third one was hospitalized, no one dared to be partnered with her again. People think that Vi is doing intentionally, but if it isn’t intentionally, then that’s even more terrifying! If you get partnered to her, how could you keep your life?
This situation continued until the arrival of Lin Ling, who decided to take the initiative to follow Vi in catching criminals. As the saying goes, the young calf isn’t afraid of the tiger.
During this month in Piltover, Lin Ling met Vi almost every day. Instead, it was Caitlyn who seemed like she disappeared. He only met her one time during the month, and she was in a hurry too! She is a really busy person!
“What about a ponytail then?” Vi watched Lin Ling through the gaps of her gauntlets fingers. She looked at Lin Ling with a wolf like gaze. For her, Lin Ling was the incarnation of handsome at this moment.
“That would be good!” Lin Ling nodded.
“Good!” After an awkward interlude, Lin Ling took his Elementary Summoner badge, and under the guidance of Vi, he came to stand in front of a wooden door. Lin Ling could tell that there was a magic feeling to it. “This is where summoners reunite to enter the virtual arena, we call it the House of Fights! Come on, let’s enter!”
Entering the House of Fights, Lin Ling didn’t expect this scene to appear. There was a long passageway, and in that passageway there were multiple individual doors.
With his eyes wide open, Lin Ling couldn’t avoid cold sweat to slip down his face. He couldn’t stop himself from saying: “Why would I get the feeling like this is a love hotel…”
“What love hotel?” She looked at Lin Ling with a questioning gaze. Her naïve eyes piercing through his soul as he fidgeted a little.
“This… that’s the name of a hotel…”
“Hmmm…” Actually, of course she knows what he means with love hotel, she is not stupid after all. In fact, she also agrees with Lin Ling in this aspect, is just that she never considered it before. Now though, she paid attention to the magical protections on every door, which made them sound-proof without any sort of monitoring. Isn’t this just like a love hotel?
Thinking this, Vi’s face went red.
“Walk, come with me.” Walking through the passageway, they found the seventh room to be empty. Opening the door, there was a circular wooden table in the center of the room with a crystal ball resting on top of it. A little cake and a glass of water were placed on the table too. In a corner, there was an elegantly ornamented bed. (TLN: So, it really is a love hotel.)
The bed is there in the case a hero would come in the aid of a summoner, allowing him/her to allow the body to rest whilst the mind is in the virtual battlefield.
“Remember the way I told you to manipulate the crystal ball.”
“Of course”
“Well, I’ll enter the virtual world first. At the moment to choose a champion you’ll find a symbol with my head. Choose me and I’ll be able to help you.” Vi laid slowly on the bed with a strange looking helmet over her head. Soon, she fell asleep over the bed.
(Here I decided to use the same way of entering the virtual world as the majority of sci-fi novels. Champions use this method to integrate their own consciousness to the virtual clone. The summoner uses the crystal ball to control the virtual champion.)
Taking a deep breath, Lin Ling focused his eyes on the crystal ball. Focusing his magic, his hands emitted a faint blue light as he touched the ball’s surface.
