Chapter 2 – A wolf appears!
In addition to real-time strategy and team-operations, “League of Legends” also has unique heroe's mechanics, automatic matching battlefield platforms, summoner mastery, runes and many other elements. The beautiful game’s screen conquered the eyes of Lin Ling from the moment of its appearance.
With its excellent performance and playability, “League of Legends” can be said to be one of the most successful games in the MOBA genre.
Lin Ling typed his own summoner’s name and successfully entered the server. He clicked on the match button and very soon the system found an opponent. When Lin Ling was about to choose a hero, the entire dormitory began to tremble. The word “earthquake” flashed through his mind.
There is no mistake, it was indeed an earthquake, and a very strong one at that. Lin Ling started to panic, he put on his trousers and tried to run out of the dormitory. While trying to run away, Lin Ling inadvertently got his legs tangled by the wires connecting his laptop, but the result of his mistake was completely out of his expectations. He obviously just tripped a little with the wire, so he couldn’t understand why would happen such a terrible thing.
The electric current of the wire flowed violently through his body, and Lin Ling fainted almost instantly. The screen of the laptop turned black as it lost its power source, and with the trembling of the building, the lights of the dormitory began to flash intermittently. Suddenly, on the dark screen of the laptop appeared a black hole, and poor Lin Ling who was unconscious on the floor was completely swallowed, disappearing into thin air.
After a few seconds, the black hole disappeared as fast as it appeared, and Lin Ling’s laptop was completely scrapped.
That is what happened! Even now, Lin Ling can’t believe that such a thing actually happened!
He crossed! Like many characters of the novels he likes to read, he joined the world crossing army! Lin Ling still doesn’t know where exactly he is, but he feels that the world he was transported to and the game he was playing were somehow related.
Have I really been transmigrated?
Lin Ling was completely sure that the answer was yes, because after 4 days of wandering in the forest, he actually saw a poro. A real poro.
Different from the computer game, the fur of this poro wasn’t pure white, but it was of an inconspicuous tone of green which helped it blend perfectly with his surroundings natural environment. If you don’t look closely, you won’t see a poro, but just a bunch of weed.
If it weren’t for the big red tongue hanging from the mouth of the little thing, Lin Ling wouldn’t have noticed this cute little guy.
A pair of big eyes looked at Lin Ling bravely without any sign of fear on its gaze, and its short little limbs remained lazily on the tree trunk. His big tongue would move from time to time, giving it an incredibly adorable appearance. This little guy really gives you the urge to love it.
“Speaking of that, this little guy seems to have been following me” Laying down the grilled fish he was carrying, Lin Ling looked at the short grass behind him, an surely, the little poro from before was there.
The little poro having been discovered by Lin Ling, immediately hid in the grass and watched him from inside the vegetation.
Lin Ling was amazed by this lovely move made by the poro. For the first time, he thought that there was nothing bad about having crossed to another world. At least he saw something people on earth won’t be able to see for their entire lifetime. An authentic poro! And rare forest species in top of that!
“Here little guy, eat” Out of curiosity, Lin Ling pulled a small grilled fish and threw it in the direction of the poro.
He does not know how this little creature is able to live in such a hostile place like this forest, and he is totally interested about it.
Seeing that the human in front of him suddenly threw something in its direction, the poro jumped into a state of alert, but even son it was still lovely in the eyes of Lin Ling.
After a few seconds, the poro realized that the thing the human threw was not a weapon, but something with an alluring fragrance. Driven by curiosity, the poro approached the grilled fish, it sniffed it and then showed a blissful face as it circled around the fish.
Lin Ling only smiled at this. Sure enough, the fighting power of poros is 0. They were born to be loved and spoiled. If he could have such a cute little companion then his forest trip wouldn’t be lonely.
After this little encounter, Lin Ling kept walking until he came out of the forest. It is true, he suddenly found himself in front of a lake, but the other side of the lake was still an ocean of trees. In other words, Lin Ling’s journey was not over yet, perhaps it was just the beginning. What other weird things are waiting for him to discover them, maybe even…
Shaking his head, Lin Ling laughed at himself. Who the hell is he? Can’t you remember the horrible last 4 days? Who said that we you enter the jungle, you are bound to fin unexpected events? What sort of event did you experienced the last four days? There wasn’t even a fart on the way here.
“Perhaps there are no beasts in this forest” However, Lin Ling didn’t know that he just set up an incredibly big FLAG for himself.
It was already deep at night, and Lin Ling was already getting accustomed to the way of life here in the forest. He was getting sleepy while laying besides the beautiful flame of the burning bonfire. (TNL: A check point? Anyone?)
Suddenly, a high pitched howl startled him awake.
“Shit! It’s a wolf!” Lin Ling could recognize that sound even if he was killed.
For a moment, the body of Lin Ling began to tremble, and the sound of the wild beast was getting closer and closer. His teeth crushed each other in trepidation.
The wolf is coming this way!
This is undoubtedly the worse situation he has come across. The wolf is a social animal, and most of the time it hunted in packs. From the nature of the howls, Lin Ling can be sure that there is more than one wolf approaching his location!
“I need to hide!” Yes, that’s right! I need to hide! I only need to hide somewhere where the wolf won’t be able to find me. But where is that? A wolf’s nose is really sensitive…
