“That explains the Illumining Body of the Great Path you possessed.” Ye Futian looked at Chen Yi and continued, “So, who are you?”
Obviously, Chen Yi was more than he appeared.
“Who am I?” Chen Yi smiled, a little self-deprecating. “That blind man said that I was born to be extraordinary, but I never felt anything close to it myself. For many years, I have been accustomed to being alone by myself. I’m nothing special.”

“Because someone asked me to go,” Chen Yi smiled and said, watching the area where bright lights were sprinkling down.
Ye Futian didn’t quite understand what he meant. Did someone ask him to go?
Who was it that had asked Chen Yi to go to the Donghuang Domain? It didn’t seem that he had achieved any major feats in the Donghuang Domain. Instead, he ended up escaping with him later and came along all this way.
But Chen Yi didn’t seem to want to continue discussing this topic. He was still looking into the distance when he suddenly asked, “Do you believe in fate?”
Ye Futian looked pensive when he heard Chen Yi’s question. Fate?
Why would Chen Yi ask him that?

“Perhaps you will later,” Chen Yi smiled and said. “As for now, I can’t tell you.”
Ye Futian looked slightly puzzled. He felt that today Chen Yi seemed to be speaking in riddles. His words were not transparent at all.
What kind of secret was Chen Yi hiding?

The flying boat was still moving forward, shuttling through the void. Although they could see the place of light from afar, they were, in fact, still quite a distance away from there. The light scattered upon the world, covering the Great Bright Domain, rendering it much brighter than they ever imagined possible. After a while, the flying boat broke through the clouds and mist and finally came to the Great Bright Domain.
In the void, there was no mist or clouds—only the light that shone from the infinite source.
Ye Futian stretched out his hand, and he could see the light shining on his hand with his naked eyes. This world was much brighter than any place he had ever been. When the light was shining on his body, he could feel something miraculous. Probably it was exactly as Chen Yi had described—someone could only be born with this kind of light power.
“Where are we going?” Ye Futian asked Chen Yi.
“This Great Bright Domain used to be just a city, but it was, in fact, the territory of the Bright Temple. In this city, it was rumored that the ruins of the Bright Temple are there, and that’s where we are heading.” Chen Yi said, “Keep going. I will give you directions.”
“Do the ruins of the Bright Temple really exist?” Ye Futian said with some doubt. “If so, how many people came here over the years to try to find the ruins of the Bright Temple?”
