Lu Li had to wait. While asking Ye Cha to continue with his search, they were waiting for news of any movement of the Saintess. Lucky for them, the illusion created by Ke Mang was quite powerful. Lu Li didn't have to worry about being found and they could spend their days cultivating in the cave.
Lu Li knew this was not a matter that could be rushed. If he was here alone, it was okay either ways. But he had come with God of Meng, Ye Cha and Ke Mang. Any rash action Lu Li took could lead to the death of others.
Ye Cha asked Third Patriarch to stay in the cave. This time, Ye Cha acted alone and he didn't go to capture more scouts. He planned to go to the small city or find a way to sneak into the three major cities.
Lu Li told Ye Cha not to take too big risks and to act with caution. If it could not be achieved, Ye Cha must let it go. After all, the three forces' armies hadn't arrived. Lu Li still had time and future opportunities.
Ye Cha nodded and left. As long as he refrained from taking any risks, Lu Li wouldn't worry about him. Ye Cha had reached the latter stage of the Noble Lord Realm. Apart from Human Sovereign Realm warriors, nobody could hurt him.
It would seem that Ye Cha would be gone for a long time. Lu Li thought he might just as well cultivate Xuan Energy while study Soul Shattering skill.

Lu Li felt the matter at hand tricky. Profound Meanings were not learned from seeking. To try to forcefully learn a Profound Meaning was extremely arduous.

Lu Li thought it over and over. The more he deliberated about it, the harder he found it. God of Meng had pointed a way out for him but this road was long, arduous and it would be incredibly hard for him to reach the destination.
He could not let Little White take out the Ding of Barbarian God out so Little White could not refine its body here. It grew bored and began to sleep in a corner after eating some Soul Crystals. God of Meng was sitting in mediation. He might be cultivating or resting. Ke Mang kept observing the surroundings and the illusion outside.
People in cultivation knew no passage of time. Lu Li had been in cultivation for six days. Ye Cha hadn't come back after he left and they didn't know where he had gone. God of Meng was enjoying some relaxing time. Third Patriarch wanted to go and search for Ye Cha but given that Lu Li gave no such order, he had to stay put.
Lu Li ate something and asked about some updates before he slumbered soundly. After he woke up, he resumed cultivation. Before Ye Cha got a clear picture of the situation, there was nothing they could do.
Since Third Patriarch was staying with them, they knew nothing about what was going on outside. There was no alternative other than waiting for the return of Ye Cha. After five more days of cultivation, Lu Li stopped again.
His Xuan Energy had been accumulating but his Soul Shattering skill didn't progress much. Lu Li decided to put the theoretical study aside and have some actual practices.
Hearing that Lu Li wanted to go out and practice, God of Meng opened his eyes slightly but closed again without saying anything. Third Patriarch stood up and said, "Saint Lord, let me go with you. We can look after each other."

Lu Li also believed that with Third Patriarch, it would be more convenient for him to practice. Lu Li nodded goodbye to Ke Mang and walked out with Little White.
Lu Li once killed many condemned prisoners by trying out Soul Shattering skill. But those condemned prisoners were standing there still and they had weak abilities. It couldn't compare to real-time practice.
An attacking skill could only be improved in actual situations.
Walking out of the cave, Lu Li told Third Patriarch, "Just follow me. If in my fights I have alarmed nearby enemies, trap them and don't let them run away."
There shouldn't be many powerful warriors at Mount Mist. Lu Li wouldn't be afraid even if there were warriors at the peak of Noble Lord Realm. He felt no pressure in dealing with warriors of this realm. He would actually go to the Noble Lord Realm warriors himself so he could better utilize the Soul Shattering skill.

Lu Li sensed the scout's realm. But he pretended that he hadn't seen the scout yet and swaggered on. Third Patriarch had seen this scout as well and he was about to warn Lu Li when he noticed Lu Li waving at him, indicating that he should refrain from taking any actions.

When Lu Li was about 300 feet away from the scout, the ground suddenly cracked as a man holding a dagger rushed out and dashed toward Lu Li, moving close to the ground like a viper.

Lu Li smiled lightly. He drew the divine weapon, composed and steady, and cut against the scout's dagger.
The scout's dagger was nothing other than regular Xuan Artifact. It broke at once. Lu Li pressed the divine weapon forward and cut it at the scout's head.

With a muffled sound, the scout trembled. But he was not smashed away. He just collapsed to the ground before blood gushed out from his nose, eyes and mouth. His head was intact, though.
Third Patriarch was inspecting with his psychic power. He nodded at the result. He had been worrying too much. Lu Li was powerful and he could slaughter a warrior of the Eternal Realm as easily as slaying a chicken.

Lu Li stomped the scout's head so others could not tell he had died in an unusual way. Putting his weapon away, Lu Li went on.
After the time for one incense stick to burn, Lu Li found another scout who had just sneaked over from the distance. Lu Li moved sideways, pretending to be hiding in the bush and waited for the scout.

Before the scout moved closer, Third Patriarch stole his way over from another side and whispered nervously, "Saint Lord, four scouts are coming this way. They are from the Drifting Cloud Hall and one of them was at the Noble Lord Realm. Should we go now?"
"Why?"
Lu Li said with excitement, "We should kill them all. Go and hide and keep an eye on them. I will take down that Noble Lord Realm warrior later. You can search his soul and see if you can find out anything."
