"My sister?"
Lu Li didn't get excited on hearing the two words. Instead, he had a sense of crisis. He was so worried that he could just take Ji Mengtian down right now.
Of course, this was just a fleeting idea. Taking her down wouldn't do Lu Li any good. The reason that he had such a thought was because he felt danger. Ji Mengtian knew about his sister? Did Ji Mengtian investigate him? Or was it the Samsara Palace that looked into him?
There were so many secrets at the Northern Desert that everyone there could die should the Central Plains was informed. This was why Lu Li was so nervous and even had the urge to kill Ji Mengtian.
No matter how concerned he was, he didn't let it show on his face. In the time for a couple of breaths, he had calmed down. He squinted and asked, "Lady Ji, do you know a lot about me? You know about my sister?"

She continued after a pause, "Truth be told, many major families have taken notice of you. You should know the reason. You are the son of Lu Renhuang and your Great Patriarch offended Lu Zhengtan to save you. It is understandable that other families would notice you."
Lu Li's doubts were resolved. What Ji Mengtian said was right. He had unusual identity and the Mystic Armor City was full of scouts from other families. What he did at the Mystic Armor City cannot escape from the intelligence network of other major families.
Lu Li nodded and asked, "Lady Ji, what else do you know?"
"I know that Song Qi was killed by you!"
Ji Mengtian was curious to this matter but she went on, "You have caught the attention from other families because of Song Qi. Even though the other families don't know how you killed him, but he did die at the Northern Desert, without a doubt."
Lu Li was a bit relieved. So, the Cyan Phoenix Race and the Mammoth Race were not exposed. Otherwise, powerful warriors from major families would have forced their way into the Northern Desert.
He didn't want to follow Ji Mengtian's lead anymore so he asked, "You said that you know my sister's whereabouts. Is this true? We have posted a mission but nobody claimed it."

Ji Mengtian's smile was elegant. She shook her head and answered, "I am only asking you if you are interested to know your sister's whereabouts. I am not saying that I know. But…as the biggest force at the Central Plains, the Samsara Palace cannot find an easier task than trying to locate a person. If Young Master Lu you can do one thing for me, I will mobilize people to look for your sister as soon as we return to the Central Plains. If we cannot find her, I will go to the Northern Desert and accept whatever punishment you throw my way."
Lu Li was in deep thoughts. Ji Mengtian sounded sincere and it would be too much to say she was willing to accept any form of punishment. If she could not locate Lu Ling, Lu Li could take her body with force and marry into the Samsara Palace.
For any other men, they probably would have said yes.

After some thoughts, he asked, "Tell me what I have to do first."

Lu Li shook his head with a smile and said, "Lady Mengtian, you overestimate me. Disciples of the 12 Royal Families all have powerful Bloodlines and high Realms. They are protected by powerful attendants. I am only at the Eternal Realm. They will kill me first before I can even get close, not to mention killing them."
Lu Li turned her down. He had the guts and confidence to kill Lu Suan or Yang Xuan but he didn't want to get involved with her. This girl was too dangerous. A doomed endeavor might cost his own life.
Ji Mengtian was not mad that he had declined politely. She smiled and replied, "Young Master Lu, it is okay that you don't want to cooperate with me now. There will be ample time. You can come and see me at any time. I will entertain you with uttermost respect."
With that said, Ji Mengtian put on a big smile. Her eyes sparkled. Everything about her was charming. She flirted like a cat in heat and then turned away, swinging her slim waist and left. She would turn back and smile at Lu Li every few dozen steps.

Lu Li exclaimed to himself. This girl was poison but she was the kind that people would be willing to die for and long to get close to. She was Helen of Troy. She could let an emperor forgo his country and let many men enter hell for her without regret.

Lu Li had no answer. He went back to the camp silently. There, Ji Family warriors had prepared barbecue, many sorts of fruits and wine. A group of people were sitting in circles to enjoy their meal.
Seeing that Lu Li came back, Jiang Qiling waved to him and said, "Come on, Lu Li."
Lu Li had warned Jiang Qiling with his eyes many times to keep their distance when there were outsiders. But Jiang Qiling had done it again.
Lu Li sighed. Ji Mengtian had seen through him and Die Feiyu must know something as well. He just walked over openly and began to enjoy the feast.
Ji Mengtian said nothing and ate small bites of food. She sat quietly. Even so, she was like a moon hanging in the night sky, attractive to many men. Even Jiang Hu couldn't help but steal a few extra glances.
