Seeing that Lu Li fainted, Little White walked back and forth around him anxiously. Strange thing it was. The thin black vines were not entangling Little White. They just came constantly out of the ground and now they had covered Lu Li.
The others were in the same condition as Lu Li. All of them were enveloped in black vines so dense like spider webs. The seven people were all in a coma. Only Bai Qiuxue seemed to be half sober. She was twitching in pain. However, the black vines were too hard. No matter how hard Bai Qiuxue struggled, it was of no use.
The small black vines were glowing. It seemed that they were sucking the Xuan Energy and life force out of the people. All of them were getting worse and worse.
"Squeak, squeak~"
Little White walked around Lu Li. Suddenly, it opened his mouth and bit on the small black vines. Little White’s teeth were so sharp that the black vines were bitten off. Little White jumped around on Lu Li’s body. It would bite off as many black vines as they came out.
"Ah…"
Lu Li held his head in his hands. His eyes were red. Terror was written all over his face as if he had seen the most horrible thing in the world.
In fact, Lu Li did see many terrible things. The ghost sounds near his ears had made him hallucinate.
In a moment of confusion, he felt like he had entered hell. Evils spirits and ghosts were coming at him from all directions. Many underworld creatures with green faces and terrifying fangs were going to tear him apart…
He hugged his head in his hands, rolling on the ground. Numerous black vines came out and entangled him. Little White was with Lu Li the whole time, tearing all the black vines into pieces.
"Buzzing!"
Right at that moment, the animal tooth pendant on Lu Li’s neck suddenly glowed and flickered like fireflies at night. A surge of strange power got into his body and finally into his soul.
After the surge of strange power entered, Lu Li instantly felt the pain in his soul lighter. The evil ghosts and the underworld creatures with green faces and terrifying fangs slowed disappeared. He began to slowly regain his consciousness. Yet still, he felt his head was spinning as if it was going to explode. He could not move a bit.
The animal tooth kept glowing. Lu Li’s mind was getting clearer. The tingling in his head was getting better. He sighed lightly and observed the surroundings with squinted eyes.
"Squeak, squeak~"
Little White was still with him, biting the black vines. As soon as a black vine came out, Little White would bit it off. Lu Li now was completely relieved.
He looked toward Bai Qiuxue and the others. Bai Qiuxue was writhing her body. Her eyes were half open. Clearly, she was half awake like Lu Li just now.
"Hiss, hiss…"
From the other side came another hum of pain. Lu Li originally wanted to stand up and go to rescue Bai Qiuxue. He stopped after he heard the sound.
Du Ziling had awakened. The red light glowed in his eyes. He was showing his teeth in pain. Suddenly, he stood up, trying to break free from the shackles of the black vines.
"Buzzing!"
A triangle shaped stamp on his neck lit up. Then the stamp flew out, hitting against the black vines around his body. Surprisingly, it cut off all the black vines at once.
"Swish~"
After he broke free from the black vines, Du Ziling jumped up. He grabbed the cold iron chain with his eyes still red. He quickly climbed up, looking fierce.
"He wanted that saber up there?"
Lu Li looked up along the cold iron chain and had his eyes locked on the saber above the giant Golden Coffin. He took a careful look. Then his eyes lit up. He saw an Interspatial Ring on the handle of the saber. The ring was tied to the handle with a string. It would not be seen without careful look.
"Hidden treasure of Dragon King!"
The Interspatial Ring must contain countless treasures. Lu Li’s eyes showed that he was eager to get it. He thought about it and said to Little White in a low voice, "Little White, don’t mind me. Climb up along the iron chain and get me the Interspatial Ring on the saber, now, quickly!"
Du Ziling was making his way up. He was fast. Lu Li dared not to fight against him as Du Ziling was very powerful. As soon as he moved, Du Ziling would attack him. He had to rely on Little White to climb up from another iron chain.
Little White followed his orders. It rushed upward in a blur from another cold iron chain.
"Eh?"
The eyes of Du Ziling which were glowing in red spotted Little White at once. The Xuan Energy glowed in his hand as he was about to attack. However, suddenly, fire broke out from the ground which attracted his attention.
"Yu Lingxu!"
Lu Li also felt it and glanced over. He saw a blue flame mark on Yu Lingxu’s neck lit up. His body was covered in fire which burned off the black vines.
"Du Ziling, the hidden treasures of the Dragon King are mine!"
There was also red light in Yu Lingxu’s eyes. He looked hideous. He suddenly released his Xuan Energy as the flame mark on his neck glowed. Balls of dark-red flames integrated to the Xuan Energy. They flew toward Du Ziling like a snake of fire.
"Yu Lingxu, how dare you!"
Du Ziling shouted in anger. He was halfway up the iron chain now. He was in midair. The ghost sound in his soul was still attacking which slowed down his reaction. How could he survive Yu Lingxu’s attack now?
"Swish!"
He had to jump off from the huge cold iron chain. In the meantime, the stamp on his neck morphed into a glow and flew toward Yu Lingxu.
"Hmm!"
Yu Lingxu dodged to the side. A ball of flames flew out from his neck which burned off the black vines on the body of another warrior of the Heaven Frigid Kingdom. That Young Master’s robe was on fire as well.
Yu Lingxu…carried the Young Master in coma and used him as the shield unexpectedly.
"Yu Lingxu, you are so mean!"
The amorous eyes of Du Ziling were filled with anger. He had to control the stamp to fly back. Yu Lingxu suddenly threw the warrior on fire toward Du Ziling and controlled a snake of fire to approach Du Ziling on the ground.
Du Ziling’s soul was still under the attack of the ghost sounds. His mind was experiencing piercing pain. His attention was attracted by the Young Master on fire of the Heaven Frigid Kingdom that Yu Lingxu threw at him. He never noticed the snake of fire on the ground. By the time Du Ziling came to his senses, the snake of fire already reached him and entangled one of his legs.
"Ah…"
Du Ziling cried out in suffering. He rolled around on the ground. He grabbed that Heaven Frigid Kingdom Young Master and rushed toward the distance. He shouted in indignation, "Yu Lingxu, you wait for me. I will make it even with you one day."
"There is another one. Bring him with you as well!"
Xu Lingxu snorted. He threw another ball of flame and yet one more Young Master of the Heaven Frigid Kingdom was also on fire. The black vines were burnt off. Yu Lingxu kicked at him. That one flew toward the direction Du Ziling left like a ball of fire.
"Yu Lingxu, you shall see!"
Du Ziling was already hurt. The other two warriors of the Heaven Frigid Kingdom were burnt. They three definitely would not be a match for Yu Lingxu. Du Ziling had to retreat first in anger. Treasures were valuable but not so much as life. He was the prince of the Heaven Frigid Kingdom. He was not in want of treasures.
"Ha, ha, ha!"
Yu Lingxu laughed out loud. He looked at the saber and the Interspatial Ring on the Golden Coffin above his head. The others were all entangled by the black vines and in coma. All the hidden treasures of Dragon King would be his.
"Swish, swish!"
A slight piercing sound came out. The red eyes of Yu Lingxu grew cold. He suddenly looked toward the left and happened to see a purple moon dancing around, cutting off one black vines after another.
Against the stabbing pain in her soul, Bai Qiuxue released her Bloodline Skill. Yu Lingxu’s eyes flickered. In the end, a trace of cruelty showed up in his eyes. He lifted his hand and shot a snake of fire directly at Bai Qiuxue.
He was ready to climb to the huge Golden Coffin along the iron chains. If Bai Qiuxue dared to attack him secretly from down below, the fate awaiting her would be the same as Du Ziling. To get the hidden treasures of Dragon King, he had to do it the hard way first.
