"Do you believe that I'm 18 now?" the little girl asked as she squatted on the ground and stared at Lu Li. "Big bro, can you give me some water to drink? You can kill me after I've had a drink…"

"Heavens, who would actually want to kill such a cute kid!?" Lu Li thought to himself.

Fortunately, he didn't have any intentions of killing her. Otherwise, if he killed her after seeing her weeping face, he probably wouldn't be able to live with himself.

"I didn't say I was going to kill you," Lu Li said as he took out his water bag and threw it at her.

Not An Elementary Student caught it and noticed that Lu Li had another one attached to his waist.

"Thank you. Why do you have two of these bags?"

"Loot," Lu Li responded casually.

In the end, no matter how cute she was, she wasn't his own sister. If she dared to attack him, Lu Li wouldn't think twice about killing her.

"Are you going to kill me? If you try it I'll cry," Not An Elementary Student threatened. She seemed scared as she pouted her lips and her big cartoon-like eyes began to water. It really looked like she was about to cry.

If he had loot, that meant he had killed someone else before, but he had said it so nonchalantly.

"If you're so afraid, why did you choose to participate in the Bear Hunting competition?" Lu Li asked. He refused to believe that this girl was as weak as she seemed.

Presumably, the people running the event must have tried to persuade this little girl not to join. After all, who would be heartless enough to let someone who looked like a school girl into this bloody hunting ground?

"I… I like baby bears," Not An Elementary Student answered.

"Oh."

Lu Li almost vomited blood; this was the most ridiculous reason he had ever heard.

"I know I made a mistake; I realize it wasn't what I expected when I got in here," Not An Elementary Student's sniffled with red eyes. "The bears want to kill me, and someone who tried to save me got killed. I was running for a long time before I finally got here."

"Don't worry, you can stay here and wait with me until the competition is over," Lu Li offered before he

realized what he was saying. What made him even more worried was when he reached out to touch the girl's pony tails.

This definitely wasn't his intention!

Perhaps it was because she was a bit like his sister.

However, Lu Li took comfort in the fact that Not An Elementary Student was nothing like Lu Xin. Lu Xin was sensible and cute, like a glimmer of sunshine in his dark life, while Not An Elementary Student was a plague that had been brought onto him.

"Thank you big bro!" Not an Elementary Student beamed as her facial expression changed and she happily sat next to Lu Li.

This girl really seemed familiar.

Lu Li glanced over at the dagger on her waist as she slowly closed her eyes. Obviously, he had no intention of having an extended conversation with this player who was from Blood Red War Flag.

Dancing Flower Beauty was the spokesperson for Glory Capital, and Not An Elementary Student was one of Blood Red War Flag's greatest assets.

"You haven't said what you name is. Big Bro, what's your name?" Not An Elementary Student whispered.

Her voice had a certain magical power to it. When people heard it, they would usually do or answer to whatever it said, but Lu Li wasn't vulnerable to this kind of thing.

"Either stay quiet or I'll throw you out," Lu Li said.

Not An Elementary Student was a little angry, but she didn't pull out the dagger by her waist. She was adorable, but that didn't mean she was stupid. The man in front of him had been injured, yet he was calm and resolute. It was obvious that he was very experienced in battle.

What's more, she truly did need this little bit of shelter.

Perhaps it was treason to think so, but among the layers of protection provided by Blood Red War Flag, Not An Elementary Student's gaming life was so safe and stable that it lacked the excitement of an ordinary player.

That was secretly the reason why she had snuck over to participate in the Bear Hunting competition.

When she first came in, she told herself that she was going to catch a baby bear.

However, it was so difficult to find a baby bear, and when she did stumble upon one, it couldn't be convinced by her words. That's right, she didn't use her rifle at all and planned to talk to the bear. That baby bear who didn't understand obviously started to become angry.

In the moment of crisis, a hero came to rescue the damsel in the distress. A male player saw that such a beautiful little girl was about to die to the bear's attacks, and immediately came to save the day.

Unfortunately, he underestimated the strength of the baby bear. The wounded bear killed the would-be hero and turned back to Not An Elementary Student.

However, she had run far away enough that she managed to escape.

Later, she ran into many other dangers. Most of them were beasts, but she also came across a few hunters. The players who participated in this competition were usually abnormal in the sense that they liked to destroy things that were beautiful.

As she ran away from everything, her horse quickly died of thirst.

After crying for a while, she walked into Lu Li. At first, she thought that he was a dead body, and resolved to take his water bag. Fortunately, he had not turned out to be a bad person.

Although Lu Li didn't seem to care much for her, at least she was safe here.

There was a sound of a horse neighing, and Lu Li suddenly opened his eyes.

He could hear a mix of sounds very clearly, which indicated that there was a group of people.

"Bro, someone's coming again," Not An Elementary Student whispered. This loli wanted to get revenge and had previously tried to talk to him so that he would be on her side, but Lu Li had ignored her.

"This might be troublesome - hide yourself," Lu Li sighed.

He was two very different things in Dawn and in reality. In the game, he was a strong, unstoppable Thief, but in real life, he was simply a fool that had fought a lot.

He had never been a mercenary, or killed anyone.

The leg injury was bad, and the dislocation of his left arm meant he couldn't fully utilize it. He also couldn't use his equipment here, so if there were more than three players, they would be in trouble.

The Bear Hunting Competition evened the playing grounds, and Lu Li didn't know if he could kill all his opponents.

Hopefully these players were just passing by!

Unfortunately, they were heading right for him. The group were laughing and talking as they entered the forest.

"Do you think they will kill you? How about you use your cuteness on them and save me the trouble," Lu Li suggested as he turned to the loli.

"Uncle, no, big bro, you have to protect me, wah…"

No matter what expression she made, it was still adorable.
