After this, they were off to kill Hakkar.

Of course, the Hakkar here wasn't the real thing - otherwise, Lu Li and the others would be asking for death.

They found themselves in a very spacious room with nothing inside besides an altar in the center. Around the altar were four fire torches.

"Hachi Chan?" Now, it was up to the quest master. After all, she was the one with the Egg of Hakkar.

"You guys should be careful. After I activate the egg, the side doors will be sealed and Flying Snakes will spawn in the center of the room. These Flying Snakes will drop the Blood of Atal'ai after they die. The Troll who gave me the quest said that you have to put out those flaming torches with the blood. At the same time, dragons will spawn and go to the center to steal Hakkar's blood. We must kill them, or else Hakkar won't be able to revive…" Hachi Chan explained as she tilted her head, carefully recalling what the NPC had said to her.

Everyone was left speechless.

When did these NPCs become so nice? Not only did they not set up traps for her, but they even taught her the dungeon strategy.

In Lu Li's previous life, he had no clue how amazing the Charm and Luck attributes were. Hachi Chan apparently was the type of person with an incredible amount of Charm. She had written many quest guides in the forum, but it seemed like not many people believed them.

She could activate some quests, but others couldn't, even though they followed her guide to a tee. Some quests could be completed in three steps by her, but others would take five and still not be done. The final rewards in the end were usually not even as good as what she had received.

Needless to say, Hachi Chan and Remnant Dream were treasures that Lu Li picked up unintentionally.

"Me, Nuo Yu and Kitty will kill the dragons; you guys look after the Flying Snakes. Memories and Hachi Chan, you two can collect the blood to put out the flame. I've changed the distribution mode already, so anything can be collected freely. Hachi Chan, start it," Lu Li instructed, distributing the tasks.

The easiest mistake at this stage would be to not focus on the dragons. Once the dragons absorbed all the blood from the egg, Hakkar wouldn't be able to be summoned.

Hakkar also wouldn't be summoned if the flames weren't put out.

However, Lu Li and the others had received the strategy from the NPC through Hachi Chan. Lu Li also knew how to do this stage already, so it would be difficult for them to run into any issues.

After two minutes, all four flames were put out and Hakkar was revived.

"Die, mortals!"

The Avatar of Hakkar was actually just a level 48 skeletal Wind Serpent.

Hakkar wasn't a hard boss.

The hardest part of this fight was retrieving the egg, which was a challenging and complicated quest in itself. Without the Egg of Hakkar, they wouldn't be able to kill the Boss.

Hakkar had four skills - Wind Slash, Whip, Language Curse and Craze.

Wind Slash and Craze were its ultimate skills.

The former was a spinning attack that dealt insane damage and also harvested health points. However, as long as players weren't being stupid, they would know to dodge it.

Craze was similar to a previous skill from Jammal'an the Prophet, but the effect was slightly different. Jammal'an's Witchcraft caused players to increase their damage, while decreasing their movement speed. Hakkar's Craze would make a player lose control and cause them to attack their allies for six seconds. Players impacted by the effect would receive a 50% Attack Speed boost and their movement speed would be increased by 80%.

Whip was a control-type skill which stunned a target for 2 seconds with a certain chance of disarming them.

As for Language Curse, this was a skill directed at magic-type classes. They would receive a 50% cast speed decrease from the skill, which lasted for 15 seconds. The troublesome part of this spell was that Hakkar used it a lot, so it was almost a guarantee that there would always be at least one magic class player that was half-useless.

The battle took no longer than a dozen minutes.

The experience reward wasn't too bad, but unfortunately, no one received skill points this time.

"This boss drops good things, Dreamy, good luck," Lu Li said expectantly. In his previous life, he had seen someone sell a robe in an auction from this Boss called the Embrace of the Wind Serpent.

It wasn't a Legendary item, and the highest grade it could be was Gold, but it was still extremely valuable. This was especially so after a few months when the game updated and the designers deleted it from the database.

This meant that the Embrace of the Wind Serpent would become the first out-of-print item in Dawn.

The Attributes of this equip were average, but appearance-wise, it looked like clothing designed by the top international fashion designers. With all these factors combined, it instantly became one of the most expensive items in the game.

At the same time, its drop rate was really low, so there weren't more than ten of them in the entire game.

As time continued to pass by, the few Embrace of the Wind Serpent became like artworks. Their value would only appreciate over time.

"Embrace of the Wind Serpent," Remnant Dream announced, interrupting Lu Li's thoughts.

When everyone saw the attributes of this Gold equip, they didn't feel particularly thrilled. The Attributes were so bad to the point that they weren't sure if this was really a Gold grade equip.

"Give it to me if no one wants it," Lu Li said.

He couldn't tell everyone else that this was an item that was going to disappear. He was afraid that others would take it and sell it, then regret it later.

No one else really had anything to say about this, so Lu Li placed the robe into his own bag and gave everyone some guild points to compensate.

The second item was also an equip - Warrior's Embrace. Even though it was Silver grade, its special effect made it clearly better than the Embrace of the Wind Serpent. Lu Li assigned Azure Sea Breeze to check if anyone else from the guild needed it.

The third item was a rare material - Bone Scale. These rare materials usually dropped from Skeletal Dragons, so it was an unexpected surprise to find one here.

After they killed Jammal'an and the Avatar of Hakkar, the final boss - Shade of Eranikus - would then appear. The Shade of Eranikus was Hachi Chan's quest monster. By sharing the quest, everyone else also received it.

After being corrupted by Hakkar, Eranikus fell and became a Tyrant of the Dream, forgetting his own duties.

Of course, the one in the Temple of Hakkar was only a shadow of Eranikus. It was still hard to judge the age of the queen's partner, but from previous records, it could be estimated that he was older than Korialstrasz.

Eranikus was guarded by two green dragons. They were no different to the two that Lu Li and the others had killed previously in the hall.
