In the end, even Lu Li had to block the Boss because it was increasing in speed and the other players weren't able to keep up with it.
After Lu Li died, he decided not to use the Darkmoon Card and just waited for the result of the fight.
When you died, the world would become grey and you would lie on the ground. Lu Li could see his teammates scattered in the open, taking the opportunity to cast their skills on the Boss.
They all knew that it would be defeated soon, but they couldn't be sure of how many attacks they still had to make. It was a good thing that everyone Lu Li had brought today was quite competent - even after commander Lu Li went down, they were all fighting with all their might.
Sesame Rice Ball was caught by the Boss and died, along with Fat Monkey. Bearded Zaza, who had only just been resurrected, was also slain.
In the end, there were only three players left - Lonesome Flower, Remnant Dream and Jaweika.
There was a Mage, a Hunter and a Shadow Priest.
The Boss had 2000HP left, so their prospects weren't looking too good. None of these players could tank the Boss' attacks - could this be the harrowing end of the secret area expedition?
They had received plentiful rewards purely from the regular monsters. Everyone had received a large number of equips, precious stones and all kinds of materials. Their trip had been worthwhile, but none of the players here were fools. If the regular monsters gave such good rewards, that meant the Boss' rewards would be even better.
There wasn't a single player who didn't want to kill the Boss to get some of its items.
"Look at my ultimate move!" Remnant Dream shouted and waved her hand. A mass of pets appeared behind here.
There were even more than Lu Li had imagined.
When Remnant Dream had made the endorsement for Kirby, she had received a huge sum of money. With that, she bought a Pet Manor and was able to take care of even more pets. She had gone on a taming rampage.
She would venture out with her quest-maniac friend and complete quests together while she kept an eye out for rare pets.
Her current pet count was 258. Even if you got rid of the non-combat pets, there were still more than 100 combat pets.
When a player reached 100 rare pets, the System would suddenly generously reward them with another pet and this ultimate skill. However, after this, the System's reward for collecting pets would be capped.
Swarm of Beasts: Instant cast. Summon all your pets to fight a target for 4 seconds. Pets deal 15% of their normal damage. 2 hour cooldown. Proficiency 1/5.
This skill had limited effect on an average hunter, who unlike Remnant Dream, couldn't carry too many pets.
If a player only had a dozen pets, the attack would be so weak that they would want to cry.
First of all, each pet's Attack was only 15% of their normal Attack, but what needed to be emphasized was that this was their normal dage. With the exception of some pets, most pets didn't have a very high-damage basic attack. Even if a group of pets attacked at once, they might not deal the same damage as a single pet skill.
Moreover, the duration was only for four seconds. By the time the pets ran from behind the pet owner to the Boss, two seconds had already passed.
As Remnant Dream waved her hands, her pets cried out and rushed forwards.

Most of the pets only had the chance to attack once, while the slower ones disappeared before they could.
Even so, the Doomguard lost over a 1000HP and more importantly, Lonesome Flower and Jaweika used this time to find a safe spot to attack the Boss.
Both of them were DPS experts and when given such an opportunity, they easily dealt several hundred damage to the Boss.
The Doomguard let out a final scream before its huge body fell heavily onto the ground, knocking dust into the air. The EXP from the final surviving Boss of this small world flew to the three surviving players.
The EXP from a level 45 secret area Boss was quite plentiful, especially since it was only split between three players. Remnant Dream and Jaweika levelled up on the spot and Lonesome Flower also received a large chunk of EXP.

Epic equipment!
An Epic equip was truly a great reward.
All the channels were suddenly ignited as players read about the Epic equipment.
Why was it Lu Li and Ruling Sword again? Lu Li had to be a bug - he was breaking the game balance. Some players asked the game company to get rid of this guy, for the sake of the game's longevity.
They hadn't even discovered Dark Gold equipment - how could Epic equipment appear already?
What was this secret place, and how difficult was it? Why did it reward an Epic equip? Where could they find this secret place? Exploring a secret place seemed to be quite different from doing an Instance Dungeon…
In fact, this wasn't the first Epic equipment current in the game.
Lu Li already had an Epic equip - the Supreme Ring. However, he had focused a majority of his game time trying to upgrade it to this point, and it had been a strenuous process.
Lu Li also estimated that it wasn't impossible that other players had Epic equipment too.
Someone like Hachi Chan could probably find one, especially with her fascination with the game's stories which usually led to all kinds of fortuitous encounters.
However, this instance was slightly different as it was directly given as a reward. System rewards were not generally announced to the World Channel, so in a sense, the Epic equipment had now been introduced to ordinary players.
The question that was on everyone's minds was what kind of Epic equipment was it? Even Lu Li was wondering because the equipment had been put into his backpack, but he couldn't open it while he was dead.
After hesitating for a moment, Lu Li gave up on using his Darkmoon Card to revive. He decided to keep it for a later, more critical moment.
There were three other players that were alive anyway.
Jaweika wasn't a healer; he had purely invested in the Shadow skills. However, he was still a Priest, and had learned most of the Priest skills, including Revive.
After the players that had died were revived, they were quite eager to see what the Boss had given. They all gathered around Lu Li and stared at his hand.
