Chapter 17 – Overflowing Love
Zuo Liang was a person who knew when to bend and submit and when to stand tall. He did not care about trifling matters, once he had even played games and forgotten to go to his exams. This rascal pestered the teacher for two days straight one hand wiping mucus the other wiping tears, finally obtaining a chance to sit a makeup exam.
Unfortunately this technique was not so useful in the temple, also the situation had changed. A grown Bi Er male wouldn’t been to pleasing to look at if he appealed as such.
Zuo Liang obviously had not foreseen that this kind of unlucky situation would befall him. Though he did not know whether his talent was good but he had achieved the first two prerequisites. Zuo Liang face of difficulty and sorrow had fallen into Ao Li Quan Ya’s vision. This compassionate and devout little priestess immediately responded and thanked the Beast God for his response.

Cute and beautiful, if she was in his world she would definitely be crazily pampered by those otakus.

This young lady wore a white gown worn by priestesses in training, her head was adorned with a cute little ribbon. Zuo Liang definitely did not have a habit of bullying honest people.

The Beast God had said, that everyone were siblings, thus they needed to mutually care for each other. Ao Li Quan Ya who was a priestess therefore had even more of a motif to help.
Zuo Liang stroked his face, was he wrong in some way, that this delicate damsel that could cause a person’s heart to tremble, was looking at him in such a way. Her large eyes watering full of pity…….
He had experienced many kind of looks, however a look of pity; this was a first.
“Little priestess, actually….”
“Please call me Ao Li Quan Ya, I am a normal priestess in training.”
Zuo Liang was slightly stunned before he continued to say, “Alright, Ao Li Quan Ya, I actually wish to sit the test for becoming a Spirit Engraving Master, oh, in the temple it would be considered as a Spirit Priest.”
“Alright, I’ll take you there soon!”
Ao Li Quan Ya revealed a beaming smile and then gently proceeded to pull Ya Se’s arm and head off. This poor Bi Er was the reason why she was so happy, as this person had become the first person she can help since becoming a priestess in training.
This gentle, little hand made Zuo Liang feel a peculiar feeling, it allowed him to feel the other party’s heartfelt sincerity. Feeling a bit embarrassed, he pulling her to a halt and tried to explain, “Ao Li Quan Ya, you know that the Bi Er tribe has not had a Spirit Engraving Master in a very long time, if you take me in like this won’t you get scolded?”
“Why would I be told off? Just because there are none now, doesn’t mean that there never was, neither does it represent whether there will be one in the future or not.”, Ao Li Quan Ya retorted.
Zuo Liang had already said what he needed to, what else could he say. Also he was not willing to let go of this gentle, warm and comfortable hand.
Being pulled by Ao Li Quan Ya there was indeed no one who obstructed them.

Before Zuo Liang could react, they had stormed into the Head Priest’s bedroom.
Head Priest Tuo Ma Si (Tuō Mǎ Sī) 1 was currently researching funds, only to be suddenly disturbed by two people storming in. Even if it was the city lord who came, he would have to wait outside, Tuo Ma Si was getting ready to erupt, but before he could start spitting he saw it was Ao Li Quan Ya; immediately changing into a glimmering and friendly smile. 2
“Ao Li Quan Ya what is the matter?”
“Head Priest, this fellow …. What is your name?”, Ao Li Quan Ya asked only just realising that she did not even know the other party’s name.
“Ya Se, Ya Se – Xi Bo Lai.”
Zuo Liang also observed this Head Priest in front of him, he enough had basic knowledge to know that in fact this person standing right in front of him was the one with the most power in Ye Lu Samo city; he was the number one power amongst the three powers of Ye Lu Samo city.
“Head Priest, Ya Se must undergo the Spirit Priest test.”, Ao Li Quan Ya declared. In fact she seemed even more excited that Ya Se was.

Tuo Ma Si had an impulse to run his head into the wall, a Bi Er wanted to become a Spirit Engraving Master, this was far too humourous. On the other hand if he needed to be tested she didn’t have to come and find him, however rethinking he didn’t care anymore.
“Alright, Ao Li Quan Ya you have done well, the Beast God often said that you had to love everyone in this world, so we have to help our neighbours 3.”
Tuo Ma Si benevolently preached.
But all of this could not deceive Zuo Liang, this old man definitely was not one to act according to his own words. Seeing how Ao Li Quan Ya was slightly influenced, this must be some kind of noble tribes household relationship. “I thank the Beast god, I thank the mighty Head Priest and this beautiful priestess, if I can become a Spirit Engraving Master I will definitely repay the Beast God.”
Zuo Liang thanked in a voice that even he felt was nauseating however he had to sound devoted.
Tuo Ma Si nodded his head, as he would just consider this as a break, these troublesome actions were causing him a headache.
“The Beast God does not need your repayment, he only needs you to be devout and have faith in the temple.”
Zuo Liang really wished to squeeze out a few tears, unfortunately his acting skills were insufficient. However Tuo Ma Si was already pleased, ai, though the Bi Er tribe was a bit dumb but they were all very devout, forget it, one must see a good deed to the end thus he was going to personally test Zuo Liang.
“You can come with me.”
Spirit Priest Hall, the surrounding Priests had already retired for the day, Tuo Ma Si himself was also a Spirit Priest, except his level was not very high. The Temple would give large room for development to encourage Spirit Priests to stay. “Ya Se, in this crystal ball is a sealed portion of Beast Spirit Power, come and try to feel it. You probably understand the normal procedure, to become a Spirit Engraving Master there are two prerequisites that are required to be met.”
Tuo Ma Si looked at this Bi Er youth, he sighed silently in his hard, youth meant that they had potential.
“Come on Ya Se, you can definitely succeed!”
Ao Li Quan Ya pumped her fists as if transferring her vigor to Ya Se 4, despite whether or not she thought that his chance of succeeding was zero, as a priestess she mustn’t be afraid of difficulties, instead she must bravely fight; the only thing to be afraid of is failure.
His name is 托马斯 not to pull a horse dead 拖马死 pronounced the same way -.- I had to use spitting as in chinese, anger is likened to a hurricane however I used the figurative volcano instead as it doesn’t make sense in english. The Bible references neighbours as everyone in your surroundings so I thought it would be appropriate here In chinese it’s literally translation is to pump air into Ya Se but it is a figurative form of encouragement.
