The Moon God Continent, the land of the elves, was situated across the boundless ocean and far away from the Radiance Continent. The merchant ship sailed for nearly a month at sea before they finally arrived at the elves’ territory.
The Radiance Continent was the main battlefield of the war between the gods and devils and was the first area of the devils’ invasion. Although nearly 10,000 years had passed since that time, the Radiance Continent that had been baptized by the war had been riddled with problems, demons, and other wars, and the Radiance Continent that had suffered this bit of destruction, no longer had its vigor and vitality of the past.
However, the Moon God Continent was completely different. Before you arrived, you could already see the area covered with green from far away. There were grassy fields everywhere and on the towering trees, birds could be heard singing loudly. The unsuspecting little animals wandered around casually on the grassland. It was brimming with life.
This was a continent that had not been polluted; it was bright and full of vitality.
The elves' resistance to humans began to accumulate after the war between the gods and devils. Although the elves accepted the trading business with humans, there were many limitations.
The human merchant ships could only reach the Moonlight Coast. No matter which country of the Radiance Continent the ship was from, all of them could only stay in this one port. If someone dared to invade the other areas of the Moon God Continent, then the elves who were guarding on the shore would attack and expel them without mercy.
It was currently summer, and under the high temperature, there were very few human ships going to the Moon God Continent. It was because in the middle of each year, the sea connecting the Radiance Continent and the Moon God Continent would always be rough. The waves and storms were likely to engulf all the ships on the way.
When the merchant ship of the Qilin Clan arrived at the Moonlight Coast, there were only a few merchant ships docked at the coast. Over such a vast coastal area, they looked very sparse.
The people of the Qilin Clan together with Shen Yanxiao and Vermillion Bird walked down the ship and embarked on this greenland.
On the Moonlight Coast, a circle of white fences was built and barricaded the entire coast, leaving only an entrance at the center of the fencing. Dozens of elves wearing silver light armor, armed with bows and arrows were garrisoned there.
Those who hadn’t personally visited Moon God Continent yet, would never know how strict the elves’ defenses against humanity were.
Any human who wanted to enter the inner land of the Moon God Continent through that one entrance must undergo the inspection of the elves. If there was the slightest hint of something amiss, their entry would be denied.
Human beings already had very bountiful resources and were very intelligent, but they were still not willing to give up the resources of other races.
Shen Yanxiao stood on the shore covered with fine sand and looked at the humans who had walked down from other merchant ships. Watching them rigorously examining themselves, looking as if there were something wrong with their appearance, Shen Yanxiao could not help but think of those people before her rebirth who wanted to immigrate and had to carefully prepare for it.
The only difference was that those from her past life had abandoned their home country and chosen to enter the better place. But right now, these humans were only doing business with the elves.
