As Qiao Tian Chang brought in a bowl of soup, he saw a cute pair of shoes by Ning Meng Yao's side, her hands holding onto a semi-finished belly-band.
"Get some rest." Qiao Tian Chang placed the food in his hand onto the stone table, he reached out to Ning Meng Yao and removed the belly-band from her hands.
Ning Meng Yao giggled, she sipped the soup from the bowl in her hands, her eyes closing in delight.
"Look, Tian Chang. Isn't it cute?"
"Yes it is." The belly-band in his hand was made of red cloth, with a cute little pig embroidery on it. Their child would surely like it.
As she continued to drink the soup, Ning Meng Yao spoke, "I want to prepare more of such clothes."
"Don't tire yourself now. " Qiao Tian Chang urged. He looked at her as he placed the belly-band in the embroidery basket.
Ning Meng Yao nodded her head quickly in agreement, "Okay, I won't."
In their conversation, they thought of a name for their unborn child.
"Why don't we name him Qiao Mo Shang if it's a boy?" Qiao Tian Chang hoped his child would never get hurt, stays happy everyday and lives his life in bliss.
Ning Meng Yao tilted her head and thought for a while, before she nodded and agreed. "Okay, we shall name her Yu Mo if it's a girl."
"Qiao Yu Mo? That's a very nice name." Qiao Tian Chang liked the name too.
Ning Meng Yao finished the tonic soup in her hand, she looked to Qiao Tian Chang, her eyes sparkling, "Shall we leave for a trip once the child turns 3 months old?"
"Sure?"
"Not anywhere far, somewhere near the Capital, is it alright?" Ning Meng Yao begged Qiao Tian Chang.
No one can reject her after seeing such an expression, Qiao Tian Chang was no exception., "Okay, I know there is a Flower City that takes a day to reach from the Capital, we can make a visit when we have the time. "
Ning Meng Yao's eyes brightened up upon the thought of Flower City, "I did hear about the Flower City in the past, but I never had the chance to visit it. We should make a trip there, and if we find any flowers we are interested in, can we send them back the the White Mountain Village?"
"Sure, anything you say."
Ning Meng Yao's interest perked, and told Qiao Tian Chang how her ideal home would look like.
A large garden with a swing in it, there should also be a little pond, with lotuses growing and goldfish swimming in it.
Quietly, Qiao Tian Chang took a seat beside Ning Meng Yao, he listened to her opinion on how a home should be, although he seemed to only be listening intently, he was actually making mental note in his heart.
Gradually, Ning Meng Yao's voice softened. Soon, she closed her eyes and was fast asleep. Qiao Tian Chang's gaze softened at her sleeping state, his eyes filled with overwhelming happiness.
He reached out and hugged her back into the room. He took a long look at her who was fast asleep, before he made his way out.
"Be on guard."
"Yes Boss."
After Qiao Tian Chang left the General's residence, he met Ling Luo. there was nothing strange about him clothed in black, but his eyes turned cold when he saw Qiao Tian Chang, inside his eyes were filled with twisted emotions that were hard to miss.
"Stay right there, Qiao Tiao Chang." as they were passing by each other, Ling Luo could not help but call out to Qiao Tian Chang.
Qiao Tian Chang turned around and looked at Ling Luo,"does Young Master Ling want something from me?" Ling Luo was no longer a royal after the Ling Residence lost the power struggle and had their position taken away.
Ling Luo's eyes turned cold, he stared at Qiao Tian Chang, "do you really think Yao'er is yours? Stop your wishful thinking, she can only be mine."
Qiao Tian Chang did not get mad, instead, he let out a laugh, "do you need me to tell you how angry Yao Yao?"
"You……"
"She loves kids, but had a miscarriage because of Xiao Zi Xuan, do you think I will give you another chance to hurt her? Hurt my child?" Qiao Tian Chang stepped closer to Ling Luo, his eyes cold.
Ling Long stared at Qiao Tian Chang deadly, his expression twisted, is Qiao Tian Chang trying to show off in front of him?
Qiao Tian Chang snickered at Ling Luo, "there is no need for me to show off, I am here to tell you that you no longer have any rights to go after her, you should know better yourself." Qiao Tian Chang did not have the intention to continue the conversation any longer, he turned around and took his leave.
Ling Luo's expression darkened as he watched Qiao Tian Chang left. The passersby made an effort to keep a distance from him subconsciously as they were afraid that they might step on his tail.
