As the secret prison was located underground, no sunlight could reach the inside throughout the day. The inmates in the prison only had dim incandescent white lights to look at every day. In normal prisons, there would be recreation time for the inmates to relax every day. They were even allowed to play basketball, table tennis, and read books or newspapers.
