Anyways, there are a lot of new terms and names in this chapter. From now on I’ll change the color of the font when there is a note on the new terms and name and I’ll go back and do the same for the previous chapters. Enjoy~
Chapter 7 Really an idiot or pretending to be one
Meng yiniang wrinkles her brows. "Wu SheYue is beating people?"
"Yes."
This idiot suddenly turning abnormal, is it that someone is using her to deal with their 二房. Meng yiniang's thoughts jolt. "I understand. You going inside and help Second Miss bathe."
二房 – means concubine, so concubine house but that sounds weird, feel free to comment if you are able to think of a way to phrase it.
This bath of Wu JingHua's lasted almost up to 4 hours, until evening. After taking a bath, she wraps her herself in her blankets and starts crying, refusing to eat dinner.
Meng yiniang hearing that the bath is over hurriedly goes over to ask, "Tell yiniang* just exactly what happened."
*yiniang – 姨娘, I mentioned in chapter 4 that yiniang is what they use to call the concubines but I forgot to mention that it is used by servants when mentioning a concubine. The concubines themselves can use this term to address themselves and the sons and daughters of concubines use this and it takes on another meaning which is mother or mother concubine. Would you guys want me to change it to mother/mother concubine from now on when it is used in this way or just leave as is? For now, I'll just leave an asterisk (*) next to the ones that are used in this way.
Wu JingHua pokes her head out of the blankets, her eyes have been cried to the point of swelling. "Niang~It was Wu SheYue. She, she actually dared to force me to eat flies! Niang, quickly call Old Madam to kill her!"
Meng yiniang becomes stupified. "She forced you to eat flies!?"
"反了反了, actually dare——" Meng yiniang is utterly discomfited, but after thinking about it she asks, "Who went along with you today? How could Wu SheYue have the guts to make you eat flies? With yiniang* here, I won't let you suffer from this kind of grievance!"
反了反了 – 反 can mean inside out as in you wore your shirt inside out but it can also mean rebel which is what the word is being used for here. Meng yiniang uses 反了反了 b/c Wu SheYue, in her POV, is rebelling against them. I'm not sure how to phrase it in English.
"Really, It really was Wu SheYue who forced me! She also hit me and force-fed me spoiled food——" Saying this, Wu JingHua thinks back to that spoiled food's smell and suddenly leans over the bed retching.
Meng yiniang heart aches, gently patting her back. " Ah, yiniang's* heart aches just listening! Quickly tell yiniang*, who went with you to Western Courtyard."
"It really was Wu SheYue herself!" Wu JingHua with unexhausted hysteria, beats at the blankets resulting in her hitting slanted and ending up at the edge of the bed causing her much pain that she shrieks.
Meng yiniang hurriedly holds Wu JingHua in her arms. "Yes, yes, yes. Yiniang believes that it is Wu SheYue that idiot! However, we also have to make Old Madam believe that ah! Qing Xing – 青杏, 青 – means blue/green, 杏 – means apricot.

Wu LiuYun – 巫流云, 巫 – last name, 流 – stream or current, 云 – cloud
ZhaXing Courtyard – 摘星院, 摘 – to pick, 星 – stars, 院 – courtyard

Wu YinEr – 巫音儿, 巫 – last name, 音 – sound/tone, 儿 – son, child, children, it is also a character that can added to a person's name to show endearment.
Wu LiXiang – 巫丽香, 巫 – last name, 丽 – beautiful, 香 – fragrant/appetizing
Wu JingHua roughly understands and repeatedly nods her head.
In the middle of the night, Ning Er again goes to visit Wu SheYue with stolen food. Once she walks close, she is unable to suppress the urge to cry out in alarm. "Miss, What is this smell?
Wu SheYue takes the cold steamed buns and nonchalantly answers, "Someone vomited."
"Ah?"
"It was that Second jiejie."
Ning Er's eyes pop out. "You said Second Miss?"

A lot of new character were mentioned in this chapter, I really am going to have to create a page for all the characters in this novel.
Wu JingHua's image in chapter 5 as "a 15-16 years old pretty girl….[with]….elegant temperament and clothing" has now been utterly shattered.
Lol, when I saw Wu ZiQi (巫子期) I thought it was phrase and searched it up in the dictionary but couldn't a definition and got confused. Then I tried taking out 期 and got 巫子 which means witch child and then searched up 期 which means phase, stage, or a period of time which made me even more confused. I looked back at the raw and then I was like "Could it be a name….?" so I looked at the manga version and turns out it was a name.
