CHAPTER 39

After a day or two, I thought that perhaps since my body and skin is alive, that it was helping in preventing the food from spoiling. As it was, the body was miraculous…Well, I thought it was. And when I thought that I could be my very own refrigerator and oven, it seemed easily acceptable.

What bothered me, was that I couldn’t come up with any other ideas. I didn’t have a flowing water area, like many others in books. I didn’t have a garden, nor a spa area…All I could think of, is that my own body is nurturing the food as it thinks it’s supposed to…And all by itself!

Whether it was right or not…The lazy side of me was very happy with that idea!

The vast land, that was in my sight now, looked scary at night, being so black and dark.

I replenished my food, water and some other necessities, then spent my last night in the comfort of an inn, before venturing off further away from the outskirts of Green Haven.

Through my teleportation, I was able to…Steal…All of these things. And, the inn room…Yeah, I sorta took it without paying as well…

Actually, I did question myself on why I didn’t stay within Green Haven, considering I was getting away with stealing. I mean, it wouldn’t be hard to change my look and pretend to be somebody else…

Oh! I could do what many of the characters did and pretend to be a male! Haha, I’m so doing that!

But, through my new exciting idea, I still felt like I needed to go out there, to the vast land area.

Even if I did come back to Green Haven, I had to venture out and send out my stars. As I was…Curious.

Even though I was poisoned, I thought that now was a good as a time then any, to go and cure my poison, as well as my curiosity…

The big, vast land was scarier than I thought…

The magical beasts roamed freely, and throughout the short amount of time that I had seen of this place, I had seen no person in it. I had no idea how people went from capital to capital. That was, of course, assuming that there was more than just one capital on this planet…

I had been told that there were other ‘Haven’s’ but no one seemed to go into details about them. Which seemed somewhat odd…

What I did find out though, a few months ago, was that before ‘Golden Haven’ became ruins, the capitals were all linked together and were a lot more orderly.

When I had gone to ‘school’ here, I had learnt about writing, poetry, art and needlework. For the most part, I knew off these things already and just got better at them. But, what I had tried to do, many times, was getting to know more of the planet, but rarely anything was ever taught in that ‘subject’!

This was why the teacher hadn’t liked me, I was curious about stuff he wasn’t there to teach, but still a good enough student, so, he wasn’t able to punish me!

But, I honestly didn’t understand why my questions bothered the teacher so much! I guess I was just too used to knowing whatever I wanted easily, by using the internet, on my computer…In my house…

Here, well it’s like being trapped within and the outside was a total mystery! Who knows what’s out there!

It had gotten so much out of hand for me, that I had started to remember all the alien movies that I’ve seen…Well, at least I was entertained for a while! But my questions remained unanswered…

What I pondered more on, back when I lived in the Rolland Estate, was if there were ‘school’s’ that taught cultivation instead. Then, through investigating this, there were quite a few academies. What seems to happen was, till a certain age, children are taught particulars and the growth of their cultivation is depending only on themselves or their families. It seems, with this strategy, they want to knock out all the bludgers and people who are wastes.

So, in other words, if their family doesn’t work hard enough, there was no access into these academies…

What stunned me, was that not only do many rich people get into them easily, as they have access to pills or whatnot, but if commoners end up able to cultivate, they may also enter the academy…

Thinking of this information now, I believed it wouldn’t be too long before Samuel might go to one of these academies. When I had left, he was still only a rank one cultivator, but if he advanced to rank two, he could get in.
