CHAPTER 108
“I told you…”
Matthew interrupted me, “No…I don’t believe it! You undervalue yourself, Sahara! You might not think you do, but you do. If you think you’ll be bad luck for me, then be bad luck for me, I’d still want to be with you!”
I went silent, unsure whether I was sad, angry, upset…Or happy…
Seeing me like this, Matthew softened up, “At least think about it…Please.”
I looked up at him, staying silent. He pulled back a bit and put his hand down my face and smiled. “Will you…Think about it?”
Seeing him like this, I wasn’t wanting to be a harsh person. I could see his breathing being a lot more rapid and that his hand was sweating. His eyes were nervous…So, I nodded.
I watched him breath out rapidly, as though he had been holding it in, and I couldn’t believe that prince charming was having difficulties with someone like me…
What could I possibly give him?
After a short silence after that thought…I actually started to wonder if I really did undervalue myself…But, how could I not!
As flashes of memories entered my mind, I felt myself get angry. I had been ignored, had to be independent, had to learn things the hard way and on my own. Then, having so many things happen to males that I knew…Even in this life, what about Talon…Even with this prince charming, hasn’t he got problems as well!
‘then be bad luck for me, I’d still want to be with you!’
Stunned, I suddenly felt like an idiot…What to do?
“Sahara?” Matthew asked, having watched her go silent, he had waited patiently for her to do…Something!
I looked around, and due to this, remembered what I was doing. “Ah…Right!”
Sighing, I touched Matthew and teleported once again…Arriving back to where the General was.
Matthew quickly shielded my eyes, but I already let out a laugh, “He’s not even healed yet!”
