Chapter 23 Floral Failure
Qianhua was sweating when she tried everything to grow the sunflower. But every time she tried, the petals started falling right after the flower disk formed. There was one time the flower bud was about the size of a fist. But it didn't last longer than ten seconds. It turned back to a pile of spring mud before Qianhua could bring Heavenly King over to witness such a nine-second wonder.
Thus, even Qianhua was a tough woman, she felt too irritated to keep repeating the disappointing experiment. She angrily threw the crystal bottle away to the ground and kicked it aside. An unused light blue spiritual element slowly floated out of the bottle and then annoyingly stuck to Qianhua's face.
Qianhua impatiently waved her arm to sweep off the spiritual element and cried out loud, "Leave me alone, you useless aura! You can't even help me with a simple flower!"
When she finished, that spiritual element flew leisurely into a large flower pit, which Qianhua dug out with a shovel. In the center of the "meteor shower", a straight and robust sunflower broke through the earth and grew up fast.
The sunflower reached about a person's height. Its huge flower disk was packed with seeds; and its bright yellow petals were in full bloom. The green leaves were swaying in the wind, looking fresh and alive.
LuoQianhua was shocked and also overjoyed. She almost screamed out; and she couldn't help bouncing on the ground.
She was just about to explore where the spiritual element came from, when the blue aura disappeared. Instead there appeared a man standing next to the pit. The man had a hippy-style smiling face with a pair of slim delicate eyes. He moved his rosy lips and whispered like a ghost.
It's literally true that he was talking like a ghost. Cause he was a real ghost. Moreover, he was the king of all ghosts.
"For the sake of the sunflower I just cultivated for you, how about you be my queen and leave with me?"
"What are you doing here in the Heavenly? Why were you hiding in Royal Garden? Why did you become a spiritual aura to sneak into my bottle?" After she recognized Ghost King, Qianhua was so surprised that she couldn't even wait for him to respond before her next question. He was such a loafer ghost!
"I missed you..." HanGe picked up a random twig and turned it into a rose for Qianhua. He then changed the tone, "And at the same time, I came to ask MoYunye why he had to hurt my poor sister!"
