They, probably finally feeling the effects of my movement earlier and the flow of their own magic power, finally started moving, and panickedly jumped back .
I’ve already done what I needed to do, so I didn’t chase after them and only watched .

Telling them that I sealed their magic power made them even more agitated, the younger one was exaggeratedly shaking and his face became pale .
Losing control over magic can be felt by the person himself the most, so it’s no surprise .

This sealing technique is called a magic seal, and it’s one of the methods used to seal the demon king . It’s effect is simply just the sealing of magic power, the carved magic circle will continuously absorb the magic produced by the person it’s on .
Although it’s said that it can continuously absorb magic power, it still has a limit, and when it reaches that limit it would dissolve on its own, the limit is based on the total accumulated magic power than single moment’s amount, so it would surely dissolve one day, even then, even a being called has been sealed for 50 years, so it won’t be anytime soon .
It will probably not dissolve in their lifetime, especially for guys who just had a little power and were satisfied with that, and acted arrogantly .
Unless I release it myself, anyways .
I explained that to them while omitting the part about the demon lord, the two became panicked, and started begging me to release the seal .
Well, of course they would .
These two, without their magic power, would just become regular people .
If they, who lived as magicians until now, who took pride of purifying underworlds, lost all of that in one moment, then they’ll become lower than even regular people .
At the very least, their standing in the league would go down in a single moment .
For the magic they took for granted until now to be taken away, their high-handed attitude from a while ago completely disappeared, and now they’re pitifully asking for forgiveness .
That said, for the people who’ve been insulting and bringing down Sasakursan all this time, I have no obligation to forgive them .

I lightly explained to Sasakursan who was wondering about the state of the two who were writhing on the ground, and her gaze at the two became even more filled with wonder .
And then Sasakursan knit her brows, covered her nose, and directed her gaze at me .
I was already covering my nose .
“…Did you use it?”
“I used it as a diversion . ”
“…Should we go home?”

We exchanged some short words while gently closing the doors .
I just adjusted it a bit though… The pain must’ve prevented them from holding it back .
And just like that, like we were running from an evil spirit we hurriedly went back to the path we took to get here .
