Someone knocked on the hotel door when Ye Yuwei was deep in thought . Gu Juexi looked up and exchanged looks with her .
Ye Yuwei tutted and did not move from her seat .
Gu Juexi wanted to say something but swallowed his words when he saw Ye Yuwei looking at him with her head propped up on her hand . He stood up to get the door while reminding himself that the first rule in courting a woman was to do whatever she said .

It was the feeling of being protected .
Gu Juexi gripped the doorknob tightly without using any force to open the door .
