We walk side by side friendlily. From the appearance of us talking friendlily, one probably can’t imagine that we’re having such talk.
We have already arrived at Mestoa Kingdom’s capital. Using the nobles to raise a rebellion was to direct the army’s sight over there. It doesn’t particularly matter if we fight inside the capital but, it wouldn’t be good if the ordinary civilians are dragged in.
It’s not particularly about them being pitiful or whatnot. The country won’t be able to function if there are no people working. If it becomes so, food and so forth won’t come in as well. And at that time, what will happen is……Liscia will get angry. This fellow, she’s really annoying when it concerns the meal. Because the economy won’t function if we kill too much, I also have to consider about such things.
Besides, rather than the fellows who can’t fight, making soldiers who can fight into underlings make more difference in strength.

Hey, Mylene as well, it’s fine to not join in. It’s true that I plan on making this place our base but, I don’t like it to be unnecessarily big. Various things happened but I have the heart of a commoner. I’m more at ease with a small and ordinary house.

It’s fine to not make them do it. Furthermore, what’s that, skeletons that can do construction. If such skeletons exist……won’t they be advantageous during battles!

Oops, as I thought, they heard it huh. When we realized, in front of our eyes are three soldiers glaring at us. The residents of the capital are whispering and looking over while surrounding us from a distance. Well, we are suspicious when looked at from the surrounding.
I who is wearing a black robe, Nero who even put his hood on, Mylene who is wearing an all-black habit, Liscia who is wearing a brand new black and silver armour, anyone would feel suspicious if they see such an all black group. When I thought of that

, one of the soldiers yelled at us. He looks rather angry and was glaring at us with his hand already grabbing his sword’s scabbard. How quick-tempered. Well, I will ignore him though.

Mylene points her finger towards the soldiers and, a rope of light captures the soldiers. We walk past the soldiers who fell on the spot without looking at them.
“Now then, shall we go. It’s going to be our house. Let’s enter from the front through the entranceway”
I activate Dark Sorcery. Creating a dark bullet in my right hand, I release it at the royal castle’s door. Along with a loud sound, the door blows away. We pass through the opened door grandly.
“Nero”
“I understand”
I give Nero the instruction and, Nero takes out a small pouch from within his robe. He threw the small pouch he took out into the sky and destroyed the pouch with magic. And then fragments of jewels scatter from the small pouch.
The fragments of jewels are called Magic Crystals, fragments that were able to have magic power condense in them. It can be a medium to activate magic with that alone, it’s primarily something that takes ages and forms inside a monster’s body.
It is normally only obtainable by defeating monsters and taking it from them or, mining from caves and so forth with a high density of magic power but, I forcibly made it this time.
This, it seems anybody can do it as long as they have high magic power. However, in comparison to the natural Magic Crystals that takes ages to form, it’s fragile and the amount of magic power it can use is little.
In this world, there are the Magic Tools that Chrono thought of that and was stolen by the Holy Kingdom. Though it’s as crude as it can be in comparison to what Chrono made, Magic Crystals are necessary to operate it, everybody takes care not to break it when they use them. Which is why, man-made Magic Crystals that are easily broken, can’t be used in Magic Tools……however
Magic Tools that Chrono created that uses my Magic Crystals activated without any problem. I think this is the difference in capabilities here
The scattered Magic Crystals dropped onto the ground and the effects activate from the impact. The effect is to forcefully teleport those who possess the other pair of the Magic Crystal over here. It can also be used in traps and so forth but, this time

About 200 grotesque-looking things, Nero calls these guys, Opus Killer. Those Opus Killers line up behind us. The residents who saw this sight screams and runs about trying to escape.
