Initially, there were three families who could have their weddings happily in the same area. Now, only two families could. Wang Xiaoyu was chased away by Wang Peng yet he was asking Wang Peng what to do about the wedding car. Wang Peng kicked him down the stairs furiously and cursed loudly, "Is is your f*cking wedding or mine? It's your wedding, think of something yourself!"
He smiled again after cursing. He whispered to Lin Jian and his father for a while, probably wanting them to persuade them to talk nicely to Shi Lei, Jiang Yuanchao and the others to not spread this "misunderstanding" to his workplace. At the end, he eventually wailed, said he wasn't human and pretended to slap himself, which made Lin Jian and his father feel awkward.
Shi Lei eventually spoke, "Enough. It's their big day today and why are you wailing here? Today's incident is over. Be a more earnest person, especially to your neighbours," Shi Lei glanced at Jiang Yuanchao as he spoke.
Jiang Yuanchao understood what Shi Lei meant since he was the only one who was beaten. He pondered for a while and thought that there was no need to create a further disturbance. Shi Lei's relative was getting married but how could they pick up the bride if Wang Peng didn't leave?
Hence, he nodded lightly and Shi Lei continued, "That's it then. Go back first. Your side is a mess and your son is still getting married."
Wang Peng didn't understand whether Shi Lei decided to let him go or not. But since Shi Lei already gave orders, they would probably called the office of the government in his face if he continued to pester.
Wang Peng apologised again and left gloomily.
The Lin family eventually cheered after suppressing it for so long. There were almost no families who were agitated by the Wang family and they were extremely delighted to see them be defeated.
Shi Lei finally had the chance to talk to Jiang Yuanchao, "Brother Yuanchao, the method you used was really… I even checked online and found out that your family owned this property. I originally thought that you will only talk to the manager, but I didn't think that…"
Jiang Yuanchao rubbed his cheek which was still hurting and laughed awkwardly, "I also didn't expect that the family's son would be such a bastard. His Dad already knew that the situation wasn't in their favour but that grandson still charged at me and punched me."
Shi Lei asked, "Are you alright? Do you need someone to grab some medicinal oil for it?"
"I'm not a china doll. This pain is nothing and it will be gone soon."
Hu Xiaohua also walked over while smiling, "Shi Lei, you said that your relative's getting married today. How would your car be alone enough? If there was something like this, you should have told us earlier. We would have gathered the cars early and this kind of situation wouldn't have happened."
Shi Lei thought that these relatives really had nothing to do with him. If it wasn't for his second uncle and aunt, he wouldn't have even be bothered to do something about it. There were people being arrogant everyday in the world and there were people getting bullied everyday. No matter how righteous Shi Lei felt, he couldn't possibly deal with all of it. He simply didn't want his second uncle to feel embarrassed.
Since Hu Xiaohua and the others drove their cars over, Shi Lei treated it as a favour. But whether it was a meal or alcohol, he really couldn't bear to eat and drink. First of all, he wasn't familiar with the Lin family and second, the Lin family worshipped him like a master and it was too awkward.
After discussing with his second aunt and uncle, Shi Lei, Hu Xiaohua and the others threw the car keys over and let the Lin family drive the car. They decided to pick up the cars at the banquet. They then told Lin Jian and his father that they had other business to attend so they were leaving.
Lin Jian and his father knew that Shi Lei and the others wasn't willing to stay there. Although they shivered at the sign of those cars worth over ten millions, they couldn't decline the offer thinking that he would marry only once in his life and that this would make his wedding look even more splendid.
He hesitated for a while out of politeness but eventually accepted those keys. Shi Lei took Hu Xiaohua, Jiang Yuanchao and the others out of the district.
It was about lunch time after the incident and Shi Lei naturally had to treat these rich second generation to some food. Although the way they helped was unexpected, everything was solved appropriately.
They found a restaurant and settled down in a room. A man about thirty years old smiled, "Yuanchao, are you really going to let it go?"
Jiang Yuanchao touched his cheeks which were still hurting slightly, "I can't just tell them to fire him. Let his son finish his wedding. I asked Chief Ji about Wang Peng's situation and he will definitely investigate. When he investigates him, that will be the end of Wang. And if I bother with a guy like him, I will lose face!"
Everyone laughed. The alcohol and the dishes were served. Shi Lei poured a glass of alcohol and stood up, "Everyone, thank you all for today. This is for you."
Everyone expressed that it was nothing big as they were simply lending their cars.
Shi Lei then had a toast with Jiang Yuanchao alone as he was punched and the redness on his cheek was still visible.
After Jiang Yuanchao drank a glass with Shi Lei, he said, "Oh, right, Taitan wanted me to ask about the situation of your company. If it's suitable, he planned to rush over to Wudong to take over the company for a few days. He wanted to fight the opposing company head on and completely destroy them after the New Year.
