“You are fully aware of how you got this ‘professor’ position. On my way here, I have done my research. Do you want me to announce it to the public?”
Cheng Suyun gulped and her eyes widened.
Only one thought popped in her head and that was “it’s over!”
Everyone else also gulped when they heard this. They began to stare at Cheng Suyun meaningfully.
“I knew it! See, I was right! She didn’t get to where she is today because of her own abilities!”

Cheng Suyun listened to everyone’s mocking and felt very regretful.
If she knew things would get this far, she never would’ve helped Yi Shiqiong and act as the bad guy.
Money cannot buy back time. Even if she regretted this now, it was too late.
Therefore, she glared at the person who caused all this, then walked out.
After the Dean said what he said, she knew there was no way back.
If she handed in her resignation today, then today’s news won’t circulate. She may still use her experience at UCC to find another decent job.
If she got fired – then there would be no way for her to ever find a similar job.
She was planning her sweet escape but she forgot there were a bunch of reporters here.
“UCC literature professor used selfish reasons to publicly shame others. She twisted the truth and attacked Feng Ci. On top of that, it is suspected that she received her job using unspeakable methods and thus, was asked by the university Dean to resign.
There was no way the reporters wouldn’t report this explosive gossip.
After Cheng Suyun left, Cui Yan went back to Qiao Qing and Ruan Ling.
He looked at Qiao Qing and said as if to comfort himself, “The best thing I’ve ever done was to do everything I could to get you to attend UCC. I’m glad I made the right judgment call back then.”
“You’re still a young adult who’s never left school yet you’re already a student UCC is very proud of. I’m proud of you as well. I hope you won’t be affected by some people’s poor behavior.”
Qiao Qing, “I won’t.”
Cui Yan continued, “I have something else I’m a little embarrassed to say up until now. I really like your three books as well. Since I’m the Dean, can you please sign my copies of the books? One per book?”
His words made everyone freeze. The UCC Dean was Feng Ci’s fan?!
They thought about it. Then they realized that Mr. Ruan Ling was here and so were entrepreneurs. Being her fan wasn’t too strange of a thing.
Even a grandmaster level of a writer like Mr. Ruan Ling enjoyed Feng Ci’s books. It was normal for the UCC Dean to like them as well.
Just as they picked their jaws off the ground, Qiao Qing’s response made everyone’s jaw fall back down.
“Go line up.”
Cui Yan, “…”
“Hahahahaha…”
“… My god, I’m a fan of such a fascinating author! She’s so cute!”
“I can’t believe I’m in the same position as the UCC Dean when it comes to being Feng Ci’s fan! Master Feng loves her fans! She spoils us!”
Ruan Ling grinned and patted Qiao Qing’s head. Then, she tensed up and looked at Cui Yan, “Qingqing is right. As the UCC Dean, you tried to budge so shamelessly. Isn’t that embarrassing? You’re less clear in the head than Qingqing!”
Cui Yan rubbed his nose and said out of embarrassment, “Mr. Ruan Ling, you have taught me an important lesson yet again.”
