She went back to the office and looked at Manager Moon who had been looking at the monitor all day.
He felt her gaze and he turned his head towards Shi Won with his lips slightly raised.
She was sitting at her desk and staring at the monitor blankly.
She instantly remembered the papers she had to work on so she quickly turned on her computer and started working.
When it was about 10AM, he received a phone call from the secretary and left the office. He came back an hour later.
“Manager Moon, come here.”
Manager Moon went to the team leader’s desk after the team leader called him.
“Didn’t you say that you need to go to the company today?”
“Yes. I’m about to leave soon.”
“Is it because of last time?”
“Yes, also I need to stop by somewhere too.”
“Are you going to with Assistant Manager Kim?”
Assistant Manager Kim who was sitting far away, listened to their conversation and shook his head.
“Team Leader, I cannot go. I need to do something urgent.”
Team Leader looked up at Manager Moon quietly.
“I will go with another team member. Assistant Manager Han……”
Suddenly hearing Manager Moon call her name, she glanced up and looked at the two people.
“Assistant Manager Han? Are you busy today?”
She had something to do today, but because of this she can put it on hold.
“I did all of the work today.”
The team leader nodded and looked up at Manager Moon again.
“Well then. Are you coming back in the afternoon?”
She was hoping to answer no but unfortunately the answer was ‘Yes.’
Still thinking about where to go together, she bowed her head and shrugged her shoulders.

On the way back to his seat, Manager Moon touched her chair.
She thought he meant to tell her not to show that she liked being with him so much because it easily showed on her face, but she couldn’t help it so she kept her head down.
“Assistant Manager Han, let’s go out.”
Ten minutes later, when she heard Manager Moon’s voice, Shi Won who had been preparing to leave rose from her seat.
“I’ll be back,”
she brightly said to the team leader.
They stood side by side with Manager Moon in front of the elevator and waited for the elevator to come.
Manager Moon tried to pretend that he didn’t notice Shi Won stealing glances at him but in the end he couldn’t help but let out a small laugh.
As they climbed onto the elevator, she clasped Manager Moon’s arms with her own.
“Wow! I didn’t know that this would happen. I’m so excited!”
“Kek, Do you like it that much?”
“Of course! Although it’s work, this can be considered as us going on a date during the weekday!”
“Yes! It’s a date.”
“Thank God Assistant Manager Kim has a lot of work to do.”
Shi Won hugged his arms and smiled.
“That? I gave it to her.”
“What?”
“Assistant Manager Kim. The reason why she is busy right now is because I want to go out with you.”
‘This is a huge surprise. This man is very detailed.’
“Ah really? I’m sorry for Assistant Manager Kim”
Manager Moon laughed out loud as he looked down at the Shi Won saying that he was sorry but did not look sorry at all.
“But why did you think to go out with me?”
He gently wiped her long hair with his hand.

When the elevator arrived on the first floor, Shi Won got off from Manager Moon.

They walked out of the company building and walked along the street on a weekday afternoon.
“Ah…ck…”
Shi Won sneezed and frowned.
“Do you have a cold?”
“Ah.. No….this is hereditary.”
“Hereditary?”
“Yes. It is called Achoo Syndrome and I suddenly sneeze when I see the sunlight.
Isn’t it amazing?! I thought everyone was like this. When I went out with my friends, I was the only one sneezing. So I researched it.”
Manager Moon looked at Shi Won and smiled.
“What?”
Suddenly she turned her head and looked around.
“Why?”
She smiled, put her hand in Manager Moon’s pocket, and grabbed his hand.
“I am going to do this.”
Manager Moon laughed at Shi Won who leaned her face into his shoulder, but he let go of her hand and grabbed her shoulder to kiss her forehead.
“You have to do at least this much.”
She laughed out loud.
Manager Moon held Shi won’s shoulders as Shi Won held Manager Moon’s waist. They walked around the sunny street just like ordinary lovers.
“Where should we go?” asked Manager Moon.
“Where? Don’t we have to go to the company?” said Shi Won.
“We don’t need to go.”
“Really?”
“I went to the company yesterday after work.”
“What? But what if we get caught by the team leader?”
“I took care of everything. Don’t worry.”
The purpose of the outing with Manager Moon today was just a ‘date’.
Unlike Shi Won’s worried face, Manager Moon’s face was very bright.
“I thought you were a man of principle, but turns out that’s not true.”
“Do I look like that?”
“You looked so upright yesterday.”
Shi Won decided not to let him know what to do but she finally remonstrated his act yesterday.
”I was wrong.”
He laughed and didn’t seem sincere.

He made fun of her.
“Don’t make me fun of me.”
“Huh? I’m not kidding. What’s wrong with being honest?”
“Chee.. Okay.”
“I promise, next time I’ll….”
“Ah… Don’t do that! Don’t finish your sentence!”
Suddenly she blocked his mouth before he could say anything.
“It’s embarrassing. Don’t do that.”
She started first and made him stop.
How could the sweetness of the Shi Won’s lips be so lovely!
He thought that he felt good no matter the weather. If it was stormy or sunny, it would be good as long as Shi Won was with him.
They sat at a restaurant with an outdoor terrace and enjoyed a delicious meal.
He thought that this was what happiness felt like.
She leaned against Manager Moon’s shoulder and looked up to gently gaze at him.
“But why did you go to the President’s room?”
She wasn’t asking about the rumor but because she saw it with her own eyes.
“Ah.. because of the company merger. I need to go to America so he wanted ask me about that.”
“Ah.. when are you going?”
“I’m not sure. But I think I’ll be leaving in two weeks.”
“I visited America last year too. But I was hurt at that time.”
“You were hurt? Where?”
“Oh.. it was just a bruise… I got into a car accident last time. It wasn’t my fault. I tried to avoid the car. I think that’s why I wasn’t put on the list this year.”
“Yes. I think so too.”
“But how long you will stay there? It was a week last year, is it the same again?”
“Team leader said that he would let me know today or tomorrow.”
She leaned back on Manager Moon’s shoulder and turned on her cell phone screen to check the time.
“Wow!…When I was working, time goes by so slowly ….It’s already five. This is unfair.”
He laughed.
“Do you want to go now?”
Manager Moon gently smiled at Shi Won who looked up with the eyes full of regret.
“We can go out on a weekend. Looking at me with those eyes won’t work.”
“Ha…. I don’t want to go.”
She took off her body that was attached to Manager Moon and stood up.
After the sweet date that seemed too short, the two returned to the company.
Unlike the Manager Moon who got back to his desk looking like they did nothing wrong, Shi Won on the other hand snuck back to her seat.
“Manager Moon, did Assistant Manager Han come back?”
Team leader asked Manager Moon.
“Yes, we are here.”
“Yes. I’m here.”
“Manager Moon, I got a call from a company that you visited earlier.”
Suddenly Shi Won was worried that the team leader might’ve known that they had just went out on a date.
“Yes, I talked to them.”
“Oh. Yes? Okay everything is good, right?”
“Yes.”
She never saw him talk while they were outside, but how could he lie so well?
She sent a glance of respect to Manager Moon who was able to lie with such a straight face.
She started out by taking things off her desk to work on but couldn’t do it.
She had a good time with her lover and couldn’t help but think back on the day that she couldn’t focus on work.
“Manager Moon. Meeting.”
With the team leader’s call, Manager Moon walked into the conference room holding a notebook.
Shi Won looked at Manager Moon sitting in the room through the transparent glass.
The meeting was held in a serious atmosphere for an hour, and after a little while more, the staff left the conference room.
As soon as they got out of the conference room, the team leader came with Manager Moon and looked around the staff.
“So the things that Manager Moon’s done with are good to hand over to Assistant Manager Kim and Han. Manager Moon is going to America for a month. Okay?”
“What? One month?”
She jumped out of her seat as she banged her desk with her palm without knowing herself.
All of the employees in the room turned to Shi Won.
“Ouch! It’s a surprise. Assistant Manager Han!! Why is that?”
The team leader told her with surprised face.
Shi Won felt the gazes on herself and looked around.
“Ah…… because I envy him… he is going for a month…”
She sat down slowly with a blank expression.
“It was a week last year. Why are you envying him for going to work?”
“Oh…. yes…”
She just opened her mouth and looked at the monitor blankly.
She looked at Manager Moon who looked at her staring at the monitor but she didn’t look back.
One month.
Somehow she thought that today was a very oddly a sweet but unfortunate day.
