Chapter 56 – A dangerous moment (2)"Master, we’ve taken over the other two ships."
The screen switched, and Red Falcon’s profile image appeared and covered Jiao Wen’s image.
Qi Mo nodded and spoke in a deep voice, "Search them all."
Even if the warship’s firepower isn’t considered weak, but to seized it back so easily, it’s nevertheless better to be careful with it.
“Yes, I understand.” Red Falcon immediately answered.
"Master, when we get on the ship, I’ll be responsible for looking for Li Xin. After all, this isn’t our ship."
Li Hu, who was behind Red Falcon, slid across the chair and appeared in the screen to speak with Qi Mo.
At that time, Qi Mo promptly got off the ship and ordered them to pick him up and escort him to the steamship. Red Falcon and Li Hu glanced at each other’s face while nodding, and then proceeded to turn off the screen.
Qi Mo grimly glanced at the operating platform of the captain’s cabin and turned on the communication device for the whole ship. He didn’t even look at the green light that instantly lit and just spoke in it with a cold voice, "Mu Li Xin, I’ll give you one minute to appear in the captain’s room." A unique and oppressive tone, as well as an icy voice, were instantly spread all over the ship.
And yet, at the shipping containers' place, Li Xin was gradually dissembling and inspecting the cube. She shuddered after clearly seeing the innermost metal wire in it, and stood up to look at the densely packed box in front of her. Even though she has never made one, but she knew what it was. They were dynamite, metallic dynamite.
Turning her head to look back at the huge container behind her eyes, she felt her feet going weak. So much dynamite, my God! This quantity is much more than what’s necessary to blow up this ship, what the hell is going on here?! Metallic explosives, which can explode even without fire, are several times more powerful than ordinary explosives. Heavens, this is a deadly thing!
A look of horror came over her face as Qi Mo’s cruel and overbearing voice came through every direction. Li Xin immediately shivered and gently laid down the thing on her hand. After not allowing the inner metal wire to stir in the slightest, she lifted her feet and started to run towards the outside.
"Click." "Click."
Li Xin had only run a step or two when the black buttons on the containers suddenly lit up, and green dots of light instantly appeared on the distant wall, illuminating the dark and grim cabin as if a high number of ghosts had suddenly emerged.
“What is this?" As Li Xin ran, she looked at the black button that was still intact after having been gouged out by her hands. She saw that the original black button was now continuously blinking a shining light amidst the darkness. It was not only emitting green light, but it also had a 'tick-tock' sound. At first, the sound was barely audible, but because there was too many of them, the ship’s hold was now simultaneously quiet and also filled with ticking sounds which in despite being low, they made one’s blood run cold.
When Li Xin listened to the sound, the hairs on her back all stood on end. This is a timer! Who’s the person that started it?!
"Bang!"
A clear crashing sound resonated, but in Li Xin’s ears, it was even more frightening than some great heaven shaking thunder. After running so many steps to reach the door, she stretched out her hand and pushed, except that it stood without moving a single jot. She touched it, and there wasn’t even a small crack on it. Just now that clear crashing sound came from the door that completely shut. A remote control, it was definitely a remote control. This was a succession of complementary and crafted happenings, and it was not to lock up the people who are inside but to keep those outside from coming in.
Li Xin felt around the main entrance, and there wasn’t even a small crevice on it. The whole thing had been soldered to death in a flash, not to mention the lock, there wasn’t any chink between the door and its frame. She listened to the particularly clear and sharp sound of tick-tock coming from the rear, sounding as if it was hurrying her into her way to death. Li Xin anxiously and firmly smacked the iron door and then quickly prepared to insert the ring she wore on her hand, but she realized that it didn’t work at all. It wasn’t piercing through as the whole door was extraordinarily thick and it was also made of excellent steel. The force of the thing on her hand was utterly useless.
"Shit. Which bastard? Which asshole? Who’s the son of a bitch!?" She rapidly touched all over the door, but there wasn’t the smallest crack, the whole thing was already connected fully. The stuff on her hand had no usefulness, it could only scratch a tiny crack on it, how could this be enough?
Li Xin felt the cold sweat running down on her forehead, and in a short moment, her trained eyes were quickly becoming blurred. Li Xin strived to keep her trembling in check, one part of her calmly scratched the iron door’s surface, and the other promptly adjusted the earrings on her ears to see if they could be connected to the control room where Qi Mo was.
"Qi Mo, Qi Mo…"
There was no reply.
"Qi Mo…"
It still didn’t connect. Li Xin knew the chances were slim as she didn’t know the frequency of this ship’s channel, and so, insisting on randomly trying to find would only give her a minimal chance, but she dared not give up, she couldn’t give up. At this time the others are too far away, only Qi Mo who’s on this ship could save her.
The timing device on Li Xin’s hand was destroyed, and its outer covering opened, showing a thin pointer that was aimed at the predetermined time of two minutes. It was an extremely urgent situation, but Li Xin’s mind was more lucid than ever. She knew that these two minutes wouldn’t give her enough time to struggle and run about because there are too many things occurring, therefore, it would take more time than the time given until those things get all triggered together. And now, more than twenty seconds have already passed, but she couldn’t get in touch with Qi Mo. Li Xin was feeling her heart on her throat.
"Li Xin?
After a long time with no sound in the frequency channel, a cold male voice suddenly appeared, carrying doubt and uncertainty.
"It’s me, who are you?"
The moment Li Xin heard someone’s voice, she suddenly cried out in a hurry.
"White Falcon."
When she heard this unremarkable and indifferent voice, Li Xin resolutely rammed her fist into the iron door. She had another earring that was in White Falcon’s hands and hadn’t thought about it before.
"Quickly notify Qi Mo to help me. There are explosives here with me. It’s filled with explosives. Hurry up, if it’s too late, everyone will be killed in the explosion."
“Where are you? White Falcon’s voice was slightly taut.
"I’m inside the ship’s hold, the same ship where Qi Mo is. Hurry up! There are only a minute and a half left." Li Xin’s response was said at an extraordinary speed.
When White Falcon heard that Qi Mo and Li Xin were together, he was immediately alarmed. He cut off contact with Li Xin and in full speed opened a communication line to connect with Qi Mo’s channel.

He quickly got in touch with Li Hu and jumped straight towards the screen in front of Qi Mo. White Falcon’s face was with a nasty look as he faced Qi Mo.
Qi Mo saw White Falcon suddenly appear in the screen in front of him, and his face was so unsightly that Qi Mo couldn’t help frowning and say in a heavy tone, "Speak."
At the other side, when Li Hu was contacted by White Falcon and saw his abrupt call, he knew it should definitely be something important, so he opened a communication line with several screens, forming a frame of several parties connected at the same time.
"Li Xin contacted me just now and said that she was in the same ship as you, that she had explosives in there, and that with one minute and ten seconds to go, they will be switched on, and its power will be massive." White Falcon’s quick report was a fairly concise summary of the situation.
Red Falcon listened to it, and his face had some massive changes. He stood up and then said, "Master, quickly depart from there. I’ll go pick you up right away."
In the same moment, Jiao Wen connected to the screen’s frequency channel, and his countenance had changed colors as he roared, "There’s a ploy, those fake warships are all old. Qi, quickly retreat, hurry!"
Qi Mo’s face was instantly cold and dark, and his fist tightly clenched. He looked cruel and cold as he turned to White Falcon and said, "Turn into her channel."
Noticing that White Falcon cut off the connection, Li Xin tightly constrained her heart that was about to leap out, as she incessantly accelerated the pace to cut the iron door. In the silence, the sound of cutting and ticking made the cabin seem much more frighteningly and eerier.
