‘Hmph, finally remembered me?’ Little Red chirped in irritation. He wanted to join the both of them, but unfortunately, they had disappeared before he finished digesting the medicinal pills. Furthermore, he was injured and didn’t want to act rashly, so he just waited for them both to return. Naturally, he was now feeling upset and sulky.
Huangfu Qingjue gave him a cold glare, startling him. Little Red immediately slipped out of Ling Chuxi’s arms and into the pocket of her clothes. Only then did he glare back at Huangfu Qingjue.
‘Hmph, who do you think you are? One day, I will awaken my Demon Emperor’s bloodline and settle the score with you.’ Little Red thought to himself dejectedly as he curled up in Ling Chuxi’s pocket. Of course, he couldn’t say that out loud, or Huangfu Qingjue would surely drag him out and throw him away!
Turbulent qi currents like countless sharp blades rushed towards the both of them, making thunderous sounds. Huangfu Qingjue pulled Ling Chuxi close into his arms and formed an invisible shield to protect them. Despite the impact of the qi blades, it did not affect the two of them in the slightest.
As soon as they reached the ground, the Four Wonder Array collapsed completely and a colorful light burst into the sky, making it as bright as day. However, it only lasted a moment, and then the dark night became even darker.
