Chapter 845
After Jiao Xiu returned from the colosseum, he went through the main hall's gate .
After entering, he closed the large gate and walked to the chair at the main seat . He sat down on it and pressed a deeply concealed push button under the chair . Instantly, a hole appeared under the main seat and Jiao Xiu began to fall down with the chair .
He fell through a passage that seemed endless . Only after a long time had passed did a bright light come from underneath and the chair smashed into pieces . Jiao Xiu slowly floated down after it . The place which he had reached was a completely sealed cave . At the top of it, countless night pearls were embedded .
A gate created from black metal was in front of Jiao Xiu . There were two small peacock lamps in front of it .
The cave, which was the destination of the secret pathway through the main hall, was the region where the ancestor of Morrow Clan was in seclusion . Only sufficient distance and the large door created from black metal could obstruct the ancient god presence from emitting out .
Jiao Xiu half knelt on the ground and said to the closed large door, "Ancestor, god father has sensed something!"
There was no reply from behind the large door at first . After a moment though, the thick black metal door opened, and a presence which was much more formidable than that of a god erupted .
"Come in," an aged voice called out .
Jiao Xiu stood up and went through the large door . After entering, he saw another, smaller cave . The inside of it was illuminated by night pearls like the outside . There was only a stone bed in the cave and a petite man lying on it . He wore a sackcloth and looked very ordinary .
When he heard the sound of footsteps, he stood up from the stone bed, revealing his delicate face and white skin like that of an eighteen or nineteen year old . He seemed to be in his youth, his appearance only slightly different from that of Asura .
"Speak, what has god father discovered?"
A voice, inconsistent with his age, spoke from the youth's mouth . It belonged to an old man who had seen all aspects of life and society .
Jiao Xiu glanced at the ancestor sitting on the stone bed and sensed the ancient god presence emitted from his body that had become even more powerful . It brought a sense of security appeared, and he narrated things as they stood .

Lord Ashbi also said that god father has only done this because he is resentful about the matter of stolen power of belief . After Jiao Xiu finished speaking, he saw that the ancestor was frowning, and felt somewhat panicked in his heart . But he could not understand why the four ancestors were afraid of god father . After all, they had already become ancient gods by relying on the stolen power of belief . Regardless of how formidable god father was, he was still an ancient god . Given their higher numbers, they should be able to make god father fear them .
Then why did the four ancestors go into hiding when god father descended and refused to come out?

He then formed a semi circle in the air with his hand, and a pure white pearl appeared above it . The instant it appeared, Jiao Xiu sensed that it was power of belief . When he realized that, he took a deep breath and a fire appeared in his eyes .
Every living creature generated power of belief . After a large amount of it was gathered, it would take the form of strands . After those strands of power of belief were gathered, they would solidify into a ball of light . Usually the four clans would receive power of belief in terms of balls of light from the city lord's mansion .
It was the most standard type of power of belief .
The power of belief in ancestor's hand had already taken the shape of a pearl, which meant that countless balls of power of belief were gathered within it . Jiao Xiu did not know how much would one be able to rise in strength after using it .
Jiao Xiu snapped back to reality soon, and his complexion turned pale . He anxiously said, "You cannot, ancestor . Once this power of belief enters your body, I fear that god father will immediately sense it . "
