Chapter Four
Not long after, Li YongXuan was outside the door of a business suite in a five-star hotel. As she raised her hand to knock, she hesitated , wondering if she should ring the bell instead.
A face where the expression was a mix of puzzlement, disappointment, even a bit of anger. A face that was normally remote.
She needed to fix it quickly ! If things didn’t work out, could she depend on others ?
She waited for a while but there was no answer .
She had almost given up and as she turned around, she heard the sound of a heavy door opening.
" Hey, you really came !" Liang Wen He said with surprise as he propped the door open .
Li Yongxuan subconsciously frowned and took a step back.
Liang Wen He frowned; he seemed to have difficulty in understanding what she was saying.
" I really don’t want to bother you. My scarf…"
" The scarf is over there on the table. You can take it."
She could see the scarf on the marble top. She wanted to leave immediately.
He poured two glasses of wine.
" Why ? Is someone waiting for you?"he asked casually.
The sentence was like an arrow to her heart. Yes, really, there was no one waiting for her.
Because at a very young age, she had lost both her parents. Her aunt had brought her up. Her aunt was a single lady , it hadn’t been easy for her to raise a juvenile niece at an old age. She worked late every day. So Li Yongxuan had never experienced the warm feeling of homecoming to a waiting family.

Looking at her bleak face, Liang Wen He smiled and handed her a glass of wine.
" Just sit with me, I want to talk to you for a while." He went to the luxury lambskin sofa and sat down, then patted the seat beside him, inviting her to sit next to him.
But hadn’t they already talked a lot at dinner ? And later, they had nothing more to say. She and Mr Liang were from two very different strata of society, their lives had no commonalities, it was really difficult to find topics to chat about.
" I am surprised you are twenty-nine. I really cannot see it", Liang Wenhe broke the silence as he sipped his wine,
" Don’t be so nervous", Liang Wen He leaned over and patted her hand. Then he picked up her glass and very gently placed it near her lips, coaxing her, " Come, drink a little bit, you will feel relaxed."
At her reaction, the glass tipped and wine spilled on her dress.
Liang Wen He leaned closer. His lips touched her neck, gently sucking the wine drops.
" At the age of twenty nine, you are already a mature woman. Why don’t you stay with me tonight?"
For a moment, Li Yongxuan's mind was completely blank. She couldn’t react.
If she really loved him, wasn’t this a great opportunity ?

Mai Wei Zhe's finger was still on the doorbell, the luxury suite was filled with the loud sound of the bell ringing.
" Why are you standing at the door ?"
" Let’s go", she did not waste any time to say more or to explain. She walked out of the room, pulled the door shut and made her way towards the elevator.
Immediately, Mai Wei Zhe caught her.
His eyebrows scrunched, " Have you been drinking?"
She did not speak and simply shook her head violently. As the elevator door opened, she rushed inside.
Also, there were obvious kiss marks in her neck.
" You…"
She needed to sort out her mood.
If he spoke sarcastically, she would surely start crying,
Until the elevator arrived at the ground floor, he hadn’t said a word.
Just outside the elevator, a very familiar person was waiting, Li Yongxuan regained her senses- wasn’t this the security personnel who was with Mai Wei Zhe for his protection ?
She suddenly turned to him and asked.
Moreover, he had just received a death threat-
" You worry about yourself first. How can you worry about me ? You act recklessly, then try to flee with a frightened face !" Mai Wei Zhe had also returned to his normal behaviour and fired his first salvo at her aggressively. " You visit a man in his hotel room at the middle of the night, did you think you would play Sudoku ? Haven’t you heard of his many scandals ? Or are you like those no- brained little girls, thinking you can control him ?"
She was stunned. Flushing red from head to toe,she looked at him.
" How did you live to be thirty ? How could you be so stupid ?" he reverted angrily.
She pursed her lips.
Seeing his boss scolding her so fiercely, the security staff moved away to the side, his face full of embarrassment.
She walked out. Outside the glass doors, the cool night wind calmed her down a lot. She thought he had taken a huge risk, and her doubts increased.
" I moved to a hotel in the neighbourhood", he said, " I was planning to get some dinner?"
Looking at the unbelieving expression on her face, Mai Wei Zhe simply ignored her and walked towards the waiting car, banging the door shut for good effect,
Through the dark glass, she could see his face looking haughty and unhappy,
" He was very worried about you. Just as soon as we reached the hotel, we immediately came out. We had to find out where Mr Liang was staying ." The security staff suddenly remembered," You …are you ok ? Were you…"
" I’m fine, thank you."
" You should thank him", the bodyguard jerked his head towards the window.
Yes, she really should thank him. In fact, at this moment, her heart was full of gratitude and an indescribable feeling of warmth.
When was the last time anyone was so concerned about her ? She really couldn’t remember.
" I don’t have a game tomorrow ", Mai Wei Zhe arrogantly replied," even if there were , it is impossible for such a small thing to affect the results !"

Li Yongxuan did not say anything but quietly sat in the car beside him.
She took it, and looked sideways at him. He was angrily looking out of the window, completely refusing to look at her.
Outside the window, it was very dark. What was he looking at ?
Silently , she wore the coat, zipping it up all the way to her chin, tightly wrapping herself. With her body now finally feeling warm, the panic she was feeling gradually dispersed.
After the torments of the day , she suddenly felt a wave of tiredness wash over her. She closed her eyes and let out a long sigh..
For a long time, there was no sound in the car.
Sure enough, Miss Li had fallen asleep.
He head was tilted, and unconsciously, resting on the shoulders of her co- passenger.
And the harsh mouthed ruffian, the player whose bad temperament was well known to all the people in speed skating, had propped his chin on one hand while keeping his other shoulder motionless so that someone could use it as her pillow.
She actually didn’t remember much of what happened afterwards. But she was sent safely back home. And she was grateful to Mai Wei Xhe for this. Although he had been angry with her and had refused to speak to her, he had still sent her safely back home before returning to the hotel.
