Chapter 361 - Triad Ritual (3/3)
The Demon God Blood Charm's effects had dissipated, and the Demon Saint's had reverted from a demon god's to an Inner Core Qi Practitioner. While right at this moment, the 14 magnates in the Heavenly Demon Secret Realm were all suppressed with only the heavily wounded Sha Qishan running for his life. All the other Heavenly Dharma giants were now dead.
While the Inner Core Qi Practitioners were still alive, how could they ever contend against the Demon Saint?
Furthermore, the Demon Saint had at least 14 Demon God Blood Charms. And although 12 had been used, there were at least two left in hand.
Even one Demon God Blood Charm was more than enough for him to clear the whole Heavenly Demon Secret Realm now, let alone two!
The Triad Ritual could now no longer be stopped!
The Demon Queen led the concubines and court ladies over to the Demon Saint's sides, there were still some Qi Practitioners that were putting up some resistance, but they were all killed by the ladies before they could get anywhere close to the Demon Saint.
The other Qi Practitioners were running headlessly in all directions as they tried to find a way out from the Heavenly Demon Secret Realm. But they all either burned into ashes in the ocean fire or died in the black spring. Some were even killed by the living insect race, and others died from inadvertently encountering the remnants of divine skills that still lingered in the secret realm.
"Shura, Mo Luo, I grant the two of you the privilege to witness my transcendence." Demon Saint looked at Zhong Yue and Shura from afar.
Shura, Xiu Hongsu, and the others quickly gathered around in a group along with Zhong Yue. Demon Saint's success was immutable, nothing could stop him now, and once the Triad Ritual was completed, he would climb back to the peak of his prowess in his last life. And if not, he would still be stronger than before as he rose into another transcendent stage that could not have achieved by ordinary means!
"Let's go. We will watch!" Zhong Yue suddenly said.
Rays flashed across Shura's eyes, and he mumbled, "There might be a chance to ambush him when he is in the middle of the ritual."
However, even he himself knew that such a possibility was merely impossible as their opponent was too strong. In addition to the Demon God Blood Charm, they wouldn't even have the chance to ambush him.
"Just exactly where is this Creator's scattered spirit?"
Zhong Yue, Shura, and the remaining crowd walked toward Demon Saint while Shura mumbled, "Why is it that until now, we've never come across it anywhere before? If only we can connect to the Creator's left remnant, we might be able to stop that brat's Triad Ritual."
Zhong Yue couldn't help but lock his brows deeply. Demon Saint had created a war against the magnates here. The battle was nearly on the scale of a fight among demon gods. Why didn't such a huge incident awake the Creator's scattered spirit?
If there were any movement in the Creator's scattered spirit, they would surely notice it, and yet, nothing had happened?

Shura implored, "Where is it? Is there any way to connect to him?"
A discerning expression climbed onto Zhong Yue's face as he said, "He is just right beneath us. The Creator has no mortal body. In other words, the Creator's spirit is exactly his mortal body. He is and has always been right beneath us, right below the Black Well Keep."
"You are saying…."
The implication dawned on Shura as he exclaimed in shock, "That petrified head mountain is the Creator's scattered spirit?"
Zhong Yue nodded, the moon spirit lady god was precisely an innate god. She was a spirit that had come into existence from the perpetual worship of many living beings. From the day these spirits had acquired the elements of life, they would ascend as the innate gods. They were the spirits, and their mortal bodies were in fact, their spirits!
This meant that the saint mountain formed by the Creator's petrified head was the scattered spirit of the Creator itself.
This was clearly something they had failed to realize due to their previous assumptions of the typical form of the spirits. No one had ever thought that the Creator's scattered spirit was in fact petrified!
Furthermore, another key that had caused this was that no one else could seep their psyche into the mountain body and reach out to the Creator's left remnant all this while.

Demon Saint was gentle and polite like a dignified noble, and he invited them to be seated while Demon Queen and the other ladies were preparing the ritual altar. They opened up an array diagram which was drawn inside three-foot scroll painting. However, as the scroll painting was opened, the array diagram drawn in it grew bigger and bigger, covering an area land of over a hundred miles while an altar miraculously emerged within the array formation.
The altar was huge, having nine floors where a three-mile-long little altar was placed in the middle of each level. There were also many places designated for different purposes with full functionalities. One could easily infer that this array diagram was also an incredible demon divine weapon, one that was even stronger than Demon Saint's emerald leaf and sword breaker!
This altar, was the greatest demon divine weapon that Demon Saint had ever crafted, infusing the totality of his life's insights into it!
Demon Saint then said, "You've guessed correctly. The saint mountain is precisely the Creator's scattered spirit. This is the specialty of the innate demon gods, something we can never surpass nor achieve. As long as the worship remains, the innate demon god will live eternally until the end of the world. I've been to many other secret realms and have learned of their origins. Whether it be it the innate gods or the innate demon gods, their history is far longer than ours. They have existed ever since the birth of the universe. Moreover, we celestials and demons were created by them. We are meant to serve as tools to worship them. However, along the way, things got out of their hands when we developed our own independence."
Zhong Yue and Shura were shocked; this was something they didn't know. Demon Saint wasn't venerated as a saint for no reason, his knowledge and experience were way beyond Zhong Yue's or even the ancient demon god like Shura.
Shura then asked, "Can the innate gods live forever?"
"I've been to the Zi Wei Imperial Star, I've heard that there are still some innate demon gods that have lived since the primordial days. Although I've never come across one."
Demon Said answered and said, "The secrets in this world are far too many, the universe is much too large and we, the ones living in the Ancestral Star, are nothing more than a frog living at the bottom of the well. Only when one has reached the Zi Wei Imperial Star will they know just how marvelous and magnificent this universe is. However, I'm afraid that the two of you will never have that chance to experience it."
Shura kept mum.
While Zhong Yue smiled and said, "Demon Saint, don't you think it's still too early to declare our fate? You might never be able to sacrifice the Creator's scattered spirit and might never able to do so to this secret realm. Taking a step back further, even if you can, can you digest the powers completely?"
Demon Saint smiled, the gentle demon then said leisurely, "Unfortunately, this is something the two of you will never find out. After all, you will be dead by the time that ever happens."
As they spoke, Demon Queen and the other concubines placed the black earthen jars, the divine weapons, and the Heavenly Dharma Qi Practitioners' corpses on the altars and waited for the ritual to finish.
Demon Saint then said apologetically to them, "My two guests, please excuse me as I'll have to commence the ritual, my apologies."
Zhong Yue nodded and excused him, "Of course, Demon Saint, you're too polite."
Demon Saint walked onto the altar and commenced the ritual. Shura looked around and killing intent flooded his eyes. He whispered, "Mister Mo Luo, let's act now and destroy the oblations on the altars!"
Just as he spoke, Demon Saint who was on the altar had used the Demon God Blood Charm and restored himself back to the level of a demon god. The godly aura billowed down the nine-floored altar and pushed the crowd further back from it.

The array diagram hovered the altar into mid-air, and the nine-floored altar revolved tardily. Demon Saint then swung his hand, and it was at this moment when he showed his trump card to the world — another nine more Demon God Blood Charms that flew to the smaller altars below!
The blood charms burned in the fire, and the totem patterns on it surged out and formed nine demon gods that stood above the smaller altars, joining into the ritual along with Demon Saint as the core!
The nine demon gods and Demon Saint were all chanting obscure and unknown ancient demon language. The black earthen jars exploded open, and the magnates turned into a sea of blood, whereas the dead Heavenly Dharma giant cultivators also melted into the blood sea!
Shura watched as everything happened in an instant. His face turned pallid, and he mumbled in despair, "Demon Saint has been preparing for this moment since his last life. He must have infused all of his blood essence into the Demon God Blood Charms, all so that he can ascend to a greater stage in this life. He is…."
In the last life, since Demon Saint's was at the twilight of his life, even if he had completed the Triad Ritual, the life force in him would not be able to prolong his life much further. He still would have died after some time. Thus, all the effort that he spent on preparing since his last life now culminated in his next life!
All of his essences were in the Demon God Blood Charms, these charms were his greatest fortunes, and after planning for so long, it was finally time to reap what he had sown!

The Black Well Keep was following along with the saint mountain into the Heavenly Demon Secret Realm!
There were at least a hundred thousand demon Qi Practitioners situated in the Black Well Keep, and when the over hundred-mile long fortress was pulled to such a bizarre location, all of the livings in the Black Well Keep were stunned in shock and fear!
The Heavenly Demon Secret Realm was a separate world created by the demon Creator, although it seemed as if it were inside of his head, it was actually situated in a dimensional space independent of the true world. While now, Demon Saint had started the Triad Ritual and sacrificed the magnates as oblation so that the saint mountain could be pulled into the Heavenly Demon Secret Realm for the next part of the ritual. The Black Well Keep was more of a side to the main dish.
"A few hundred thousand Qi Practitioners? Well, deserts then."
Demon Saint smiled. He continued with the Triad Ritual, and the demon Qi Practitioners in the Black Well Keep all burst into blood mist while their Yuan Shens were turned into pure energy that swirled and coalesced together in the sky above!
Moans of fear and terror resounded throughout the whole keep, and the Qi Practitioners dashed out from the Black Well Keep in all directions. But how could they ever succeed once the Demon Saint had started the Triad Ritual?
Just like that, over a hundred thousand demon Qi Practitioners were vanquished in only a breath's time. The hundred mile long Black Well Keep had turned into a dead city.
As of now, even the dead city was disintegrating - the walls, buildings, water, floors, and everything were sucked over to the swirling blood sea in the sky to be decomposed into pure energy before flowing into the blood sea!
Demon Saint chanted, and he took out another Demon God Blood Charm, he pointed his finger out, and the blood charm stuck itself onto the saint mountain's forehead. He shouted, "The second ritual, oblation of the heavenly saint!"
As the Demon God Blood Charm was placed onto the saint mountain, the Creator's petrified head started to come back alive into its blood and flesh form.
The whole saint mountain turned back into its blood and flesh form with the Demon God Blood Charm as the center. After a few moments, a huge head appeared in their visions, and by this point in time, the Black Well Keep above the 'saint mountain' had been entirely disintegrated!
Demon Saint's eyes were filled with manic excitement as he gazed at the Creator's scattered spirit that finally revealed itself to the world after so many years. But what a shame this was just a flash in the pan, a brief but marvelous scene!
"The third ritual, oblation of the heaven and earth!"
Demon Saint laughed out loud, and he looked at Zhong Yue, Shura, and the others from the top of the altar as he waved goodbye to them, "Friends, it's time we bid farewell! You will stay in this secret realm to be sacrificed into pure energies for my ascension!"
