Chapter 262 - Final Intentions Revealed
The explosion was a double explosion. The first one was the explosion created by the destruction of the secret realm, and the second one was from the deepest part of the secret realm. While the first explosion was not that horrible, the second one was the terrible one.
The destruction of the secret realm created an implosion, just like how something would be sucked into a black hole, thus creating a less impactful shockwave.
But the second explosion was created as the result of the power left behind by Kui Zheng after his death, and was triggered by the first explosion!
This explosion was whatever strength was left behind by Kui Zheng!
Obviously, this celestial race Qi Practitioner held extreme hatred towards Swords Gate after he was imprisoned by them. As such, he sealed his strength into his secret realm, making it easy to enter his secret realm, but hard to get out. The only way out was to destroy the secret realm.
And if someone destroyed his secret realm, his secret realm would start to crumble, triggering the seals left behind by him which would then detonate his power, causing a second explosion that would kill the people of Swords Gate responsible forcleaning up the copper palaces!
"Shui Qingyan" was, after all, a demon god that had high sensitivity. This allowed her to notice the imminent explosions and quickly escape from the secret realm as soon as the way out appeared.
Zhong Yue too, acted quickly as he immediately grabbed the cloak left behind by Kui Zheng and covered him and Qiu Jin'er underneath it.
The two then hid under the leather as they felt horrendous noises outside that even caused the copper palace to shake vigorously. The palace seemed like it was going to topple soon!
The power of the explosions could easily be seen just by looking at the trembling copper palace full of seals. But the cloak was something very unique as well, for nothing could be felt by Zhong Yue and Qiu Jin'er while they hid underneath it.
This cloak was the skin of Kui Zheng. His flesh had faded, but his skin and bones were left behind, which remained rock steady even under such crazy explosions!
Zhong Yue and Qiu Jin'er were in extreme shock. The outside of the leather was just like an apocalypse. As they hid under the leather, they held each other's hands tightly and they could felt each other's heartbeats and breathing clearly.
After quite some time, the explosions slowly stopped. Just when Qiu Jin'er was about to say something, another explosion came in, then a fourth one, fifth one, each stronger and more violent than before!
The two then continued hiding under the cowhide and dared not move even an inch while they waited for the explosions to stop quietly.
Zhong Yue put up a serious expression while he thought in his heart, What a shame. The other secret realms of Kui Zheng have exploded!
The destruction of Kui Zheng's Wan Xian Secret Realm first affected the power he left behind in that secret realm, and that power then triggered the destruction of the other secret realms and the energy he had sealed in them.
This Kui Zheng was a cunning and ruthless one. He was afraid that he could not wipe out the people of Swords Gate that entered this copper palace, so he left behind more than just one killing move in order to guarantee the death of the Swords Gate Qi Practitioners!
And those who were able to escape from the continuous five explosions would only be people of the same level as Kui Zheng, while the others would be evaporated in the explosions without a doubt!
Even those on the same level as him were bound to suffer heavy injuries in an all-out attack left behind in Kui Zheng's secret realms. Without a doubt, he definitely did not want to leave anything behind that could potentially benefit Swords Gate. Thus, he decided to blow up his secret realms along with the people of Swords Gate in order to inflict damage to Swords Gate!

Zhong Yue shivered again even as he felt remorse over the destruction of the secret realms.
Initially, he wanted to retrieve the secret realms and forge them into his soul weapons while he absorbed the life force and life energy in them to cultivate his body into an even stronger state. But with destruction of the secret realms, his plans were entirely ruined.
Fortunately for him, he had managed to absorb a portion of the life force and life energy in the Wan Xiang Secret Realm, which could sustain him for quite some time.
However, he still regretted the destruction of the five secret realms.
Something is not right! There are five secret realms but only four of them exploded….
Zhong Yue waited for the final secret realm to explode, but nothing happened after quite some time. He then felt confused as to why the final secret realm did not explode.
How come the final one did not explode?
Just when he thought of this, Qiu Jin'er lying beside him said embarrassingly, "Senior martial brother…."
The pretty girl then awkwardly took out a shining wheel from her own Yuan Shen secret realm as she said carefully, "I retrieved one of the secret realms just now…."
Zhong Yue was stunned for a moment, before shivering in excitement. This secret realm had Kui Zheng's power sealed inside as well! The secret realm was with Qiu Jin'er, who was underneath the leather with him, if the secret realm had exploded at that time…
"As long as this secret realm is not destroyed, then everything will be fine. But this is way too dangerous..."
Zhong Yue continued to tremble, and Qiu Jin'er lowered her head as if she had done something awfully bad as she said, "Senior martial brother, should I throw it away then…?"

Qiu Jin'er thought for a moment and said, "The Shen Cai Secret Realm? I retrieved this one first because it was smaller."
"Shen Cai Secret Realm?"
Zhong Yue was stunned for a moment. Then he kissed the pretty girl's cheek as he said happily, "The Shen Cai Secret Realm! This is the secret realm that generates the most life force and life energy, the place of birth! The secret behind Kui Zheng's immortal body is probably related to the Shen Cai Secret Realm and with the leather's totem carvings, we can probably discover the cultivation art of achieving the Immortal Body!"
Qiu Jin'er blushed fiercely, and lowered her head even more as she dared not look at Zhong Yue.
After everything calmed down, Zhong Yue stood up and lift away the leather, finding lots of cracks on the dragon scales on the surface of the leather. The totem carvings were not as bright as before.
Fortunately, the totem carvings were mostly intact.
It was the final move of Kui Zheng, and it had almost killed them... but it was also Kui Zheng that had saved them.
Then, Zhong Yue looked towards the bones left behind by Kui Zheng, only to discover the skeleton had been obliterated by the explosions after the first two, indirectly showing the horrifying power of the explosions!
Among the explosions just now, there was only one that was of little harm. Jin'er and I survived because of the skin of Kui Zheng. I wonder about Tian Myriad Mother. She did not have something like Kui Zheng's hide, and she may have been able to escape from the explosions, but she will not be able to escape their shockwaves.
Zhong Yue had observed his surroundings and realized that with his speed, he would have been able to rush out from the copper palace without Qiu Jin'er, but he will soon be caught by the deadly shockwave.
If he hid at the strong and steady doors of the palace, he might be able to endure the shockwaves, but he too, would suffer heavy injuries. It remained a question if he would have been able to survive or not!

Zhong Yue shook the leather, shaking off the debris on it and wrapped it around Qiu Jin'er's shoulders like the cape he originally thought it was, before heading towards the exit. Immense killing intent built up in Zhong Yue, the twenty foot-plus tall Yuan Shen emerged from his back with eight arms holding the Ba Ji weapons in them. The Yuan Shen then opened its eyes, with a sun appearing in the left eye and a moon in the right eye while another eye appeared on its forehead! Then, bright stars emerged in his eyes, spinning around the sun and the moon, turning his eyes into sword's eyes!
Immense Pure Yang and Yin Sword Qi erupted, shrouding him with strong Yin and Yang Qi!
He landed on the copper palace, releasing a loud noise as his Yuan Shen started to merge with his body. His body began to enlarge, turning into a bird-headed giant with a human body, eight arms and a pair of wings, intimidating and ruthless.
"Junior martial sister Shui, there's no need to hide anymore, as today will be the day you will be sent back to hell!"
Zhong Yue's voice could be heard, his thunderous voice rumbling through the palace while his eyes scanned around and his divine third eye half-opened.
He walked out of the palace with Qiu Jin'er behind him, and immediately saw blood stains around the front of the palace. Judging from the blood stains, Tian Myriad Mother must have suffered heavy injuries!
As they were about to walk out, a shadow flew past them and "Shui Qingyan" appeared at the doors of the palace, blocking their way.
This girl was not tall at all, almost the same as Qiu Jin'er, but half of her body had been disintegrated by the explosion impact, leaving only the left half of her body!
She looked like she the entire right side of her body was sliced off!
And now, her Yuan Shen had appeared on the right side of her body, trying its best to heal her injuries and barely keeping her alive.
With that, Zhong Yue and Qiu Jin'er saw a half-demon god as the right half of "Shui Qingyan", a huge spider body with a scorpion tail, and four heads!
The four heads were the head of an elephant, a snake, an eagle and a mantis head!
And this was only half of the Tian Myriad Mother's Yuan Shen!

"Shui Qingyan" remaining half-face showed an agonized expression while the other four heads at the right were all twisted; the elephant's trunk swung around everywhere while the snake head writhed, and the eagle and mantis heads were twisted together in pain. Then, her voices stacked together as she shrieked, "So painful! Arghhhh...Zhong Shan Clan's member, why are you not dead yet! Why!?
"Such a cold hearted man! This is the body of your first little lover, how could you do this to her body!"

Zhong Yue's eyes twitchd as his five wheels emerged behind his back, all shining brightly while the Golden Feathery Peng Sword emerged from the Dao Yi Wheel in the center. His lips trembled before he said, "Tian Myriad Mother, using junior martial sister Shui's face to fight me every time, you revolt me greatly!"
Tian Myriad Mother laughed and suddenly, the remaining half of Shui Qingyan's face started to enlarge and explode completely as Tian Myriad Mother's huge body burst it open. Another half of her body and another four heads were then exposed to the air. With her eight heads, she stared at Qiu Jin'er as her eight voices stacked together and said with a laugh, "Zhong Shan Clan's member, you are forcing me to possess your new little lover's body!"
