Chapter 1.2: Return from the Immortal Realm
He mobilized all the resources he had in hand and finally found a Dimensional Divine Sword, "Heaven Asunder", left behind from the times of the Ancient Immortals.
The dimensional space in the Immortal Realm was extremely stable and even with a full power strike by the Divine Emperor, it was not able to send even a quiver into the space. But with the "Divine Sword Heaven Asunder", Yun Qing Yan finally tore an opening in the dimensional space of the Immortal Realm.
After stepping through into the split in the dimensional space, Yun Qing Yan then began to use the "Divine Sword Heaven Asunder" to hack the way open towards the Heavenly Star Continent.
The journey was filled with difficult dangers, because while he was hacking his way through the dimensional space, he had to defend himself from external attacks at all times. By the time that Yun Qing Yan succeeded in returning to the Heavenly Star Continent, all the cultivation he possessed had been consumed out of him, and even the "Divine Sword Heaven Asunder" had gone missing, left with only its empty scabbard.

"Clan Leader!"
And at that moment, from inside the doors, a forty nine year old middle aged man with a unruffled but valiant air suddenly walked out. The ten armed guards guarding the door quickly bowed in greeting.
"Isn't this my Eldest Uncle? When did you become the Clan Leader?" There was surprise in Yun Qing Yan's eyes. The position of the Yun Family Clan's Clan Leader had always been held by his father ever since he was born.
"You….. You are Little Yan! ?" The middle aged man quickly recognized Yun Qing Yan.
The next moment, the middle aged man had already pounced onto him, to catch Yun Qing Yan in a tight embrace, his face highly moved as he said: "Little Yan, you've finally come back. You've been missing for three years and all of us have thought that you're already….."
Eldest Uncle Yun Han had not even finished his words when his voice became choked up. He was crying tears of joy. He had watched Yun Qing Yan grow up and in his heart, he had always treated Yun Qing Yan almost as his own son.
"I'm sorry Eldest Uncle. I have made you worried!" Yun Qing Yan was not able to hold back as well as a lump formed in his throat. He could well feel the roiling thick concern his Eldest Uncle had for him.
"No matter, no matter. That you have come back alive is already the biggest comfort you can give Eldest Uncle!" Eldest Uncle Yun Han said, and rubbed Yun Qing Yan on his head habitually.
