Chapter 701: Openly Snatching Raw Stones
Bu Di grabbed his tools and went over to pick the raw stones.
Not long later, Ye Li’er came over with a few people.
She did not say anything and merely stood there while she acted like a spectator.
Zi Yi glanced at her and whispered to Lu Jingye, “Say, do you think this woman will do something like snatching the stone that Bu Di chooses?”
Lu Jingye could not even be bothered to glance at Ye Li’er and he said, “Only if you let her do so.”
Zi Yi laughed and said in an even softer voice, “I made a fun gadget yesterday. This gadget can break a whole piece of jade.
Lu Jingye looked at her shining eyes and raised his hand to caress her head. “You can use this gadget to test if it does have the right amount of explosive power.”
The smile within Zi Yi’s eyes had deepened considerably.
Bu Di continued choosing for around twenty minutes before he was done. He stood there and smiled triumphantly. “Lu, Zi. This piece is the one. I can guarantee that there will be good minerals inside.”
Before Zi Yi and Lu Jingye had the chance to speak, they saw Ye Li’er walking over with a group of people. One of the individuals in the group was the owner of the pile of raw stones.
Ye Li’er spoke in a tone that did not leave any room for rejection. “Mr. Ku Lu, I want the piece in his hands.”
Bu Di’s face sank. “This is a stone I chose. Are you robbing me right now?”
Ye Li’er sneered. “Yours? I have clearly purchased that stone already. Mr. Ku Lu, am I right?”
Ku Lu looked as if he was placed in a difficult spot. However, under Ye Li’er’s warning gaze, he could only answer, “Yes, Miss Ye Li’er had already selected this raw stone in advance.”
Bu Di was so angry that he was about to explode. Just then, Lu Jingye said, “Bu Di, you can choose another. We aren’t in a rush.”
Bu Di looked at the calm Lu Jingye and Zi Yi and he seemed to have thought of something as he nodded. Subsequently, he pointed at another pile. “Mr. Baker’s raw stones are also good. Let’s head over and take a look.”
Thus, the three of them headed over in the direction of another pile.
Ye Li’er looked on coldly as the trio walked away and she ordered one of her bodyguards. “Follow them. I’ll buy whichever stone they choose.”

Half an hour later, when all the bosses had selected a raw stone of their liking, they realized that Lu Jingye had nothing on his side.
Some people saw how Ye Li’er had been intercepting the raw stones Bu Di had selected and all of them started gossiping softly.

“Mr. Lu didn’t get angry?”
Speaking of this, everyone subconsciously looked at Lu Jingye’s expression.

They then started to gossip again.

Ye Li’er who was standing near them and staring in their direction revealed a sneer.
She had got her guard to intercept all the raw stones that Bu Di selected. She did not believe that Lu Jingye would get Bu Di to continue selecting.
Just then, Lu Jingye led Zi Yi and Bu Di inside. Not long later, two bodyguards carried out a raw stone that was about thirty to forty kilograms.
Ye Li’er’s expression sank. Zi Yi had pointed out many different raw stones previously. She would either say that their outer appearance looked nice or that the color looked good. She found Zi Yi’s behavior ridiculous.
Yet, Lu Jingye had gotten someone to carry out a piece of raw stone at that very moment. The surface of the stone was smooth, just like one of the stones Zi Yi mentioned earlier.
Ye Li’er sneered deep down. Looking at the raw stone with such a smooth shape, it was obvious that it could not possibly have any good minerals inside.
Zi Yi narrowed her eyes and looked at Ye Li’er. “Why don’t you buy this raw stone too? If you aren’t going to buy it, we’ll be opening it. Perhaps we might even obtain an emperor green jade.”
Ye Li’er knew that Zi Yi was deliberately provoking her. Even though she knew that the raw stone was obviously bad, she did not wish to let them successfully open a stone. So, she asked out loud, “I’ve taken a fancy to this stone. How much is it?”
Sang Bo said, “A billion.”

Sang Bo did not care if she had gotten angry or not. His voice was cold as he said, “You can buy it if you want to. No one is forcing you.”
Ye Li’er glared at Sang Bo, wishing that she could get her bodyguard to arrest him.
Just then, Bu Di smirked and said, “Miss Ye Li’er, don’t tell me you can’t afford it?”
Ye Li’er’s eyes were burning with fire. When she was about to speak, Bu Di added. “Oh well, you’ve robbed us of so many raw stones earlier and I believe it should have cost you around one to two hundred million? I really wonder if you can afford that price. Or perhaps you are deliberately trying to snatch from Lu and will end up not buying them.”
Zi Yi snorted at that moment. “Ah Jing is a merchant for the country and if you are really trying to make things difficult for him, let’s see each other in a diplomatic setting.”
Ye Li’er’s expression changed and she sneered. “Those raw stones were what I’ve already selected. Obviously, I will buy them.”
“Is that so? Then pay for them right now.”
After Zi Yi finished talking, she turned to look at the mine owners. “Charge the amount you should be receiving. Otherwise, I’ll consider it as if you’re working together with Ye Li’er to deal with Ah Jing. In that case, we can only report this to our embassy. I’d like to see if Ye Li’er will stand out and help you then.”
The expressions of the mine owners turned dark.

Zi Yi pressed her watch and a large virtual screen surfaced. While Ye Li’er widened her eyes, Zi Yi laughed. “The device holding the live broadcast is this.”
