Mo Qianren strode to the window and pulled up the curtain to see two cars leaving the property . He furrowed his brows . With his understanding of Mother Lu, what would truly be odd was if she hadn’t tried anything .
He scanned his room and saw his door was closed . He strode to the door and tugged at the handle, realizing that it was locked from the outside .
“What’s wrong?” Mu Rulan asked .

Mo Qianren turned back to look at her, noticing the things in her hands . “What are you holding?”
Once he asked that, Mu Rulan only then remembered why she was there: “Oh, Aunt Lu asked me to bring these things to you . ”
