“Hmm?” With Keen Sight, Lin Jie managed to spot two lewd figures . Their bodies were faint in color and were translucent . Even with Keen Sight, they still seemed illusory . The two men were stunned as they spotted the rune in Lin Jie’s eyes, and they escaped immediately .
How could he let them get away?
Lin Jie gripped his right hand, and the Death Grip was activated . He grabbed one of the guys and unleashed Water Surge at the same time . That skill targeted the other man, as he planned to capture both of them at once .
However, as Death Grip came into contact with the player, it went straight through him as the man did not have a physical body! The raging waves from Water Surge failed as well .
“Hehehe, Codename Lone Wolf? This will be your tomb!” One of the men laughed coldly .
Lin Jie’s pupils constricted, as this voice sounded familiar, but he couldn’t recall who it was exactly .

Soul of Nothingness was a rare monster in the General’s Tomb, and only three spawned in the tomb . One would be rewarded with many rare materials after slaying it . Soul of Nothingness did not possess any attacking skills, but it was capable of manipulating the Undead, plus it was immune to all attacks from non-Holy Light skills . Thus, it was a tough enemy for Warriors .
However, these two Ghost-likes seemed to be players instead of the usual rare monsters . Lin Jie guessed that it was probably Eighteen Massacres that had slain the Soul of Nothingness before transferring their attributes to these two players! The Dark Shrine was capable of all sorts of odd Dark Magic, with interesting effects, so this would not be a surprise .
At a corner, the two men were having a discussion .
“Lone Wolf really has great observation skills, even after turning into Soul of Nothingness and enhancing our Stealth Mode, he was still able to find us . ” One of the men, called SeConquering Shield, noted . He was originally a citizen of the Ironwall Empire, but he joined the Kingdom of Glory afterward .
“It wasn’t his observation skill, it’s just his usual trait of being alerted, and it just so happened that he managed to locate us . ” The other man spoke . “Now that we have the ability to manipulate the Undead, we must block Codename Lone Wolf here! The best would be to kill him . ”

Lin Jie dodged the four attacks, waved his Broken Blade, and it pierced the shoulder of one of the Skeleton Soldiers with precision . He dragged it roughly aside and appeared in front of the other three soldiers . A few crackling sounds resounded, and a faint scar appeared on one of the soldiers’ arms as it was unable to be sliced off! The monster did not feel any pain as it activated Smash and bolted towards Lin Jie . However, he dodged it cleanly with Vanishing Step .

The handicapped soldier was busy unleashing Smash, but Lin Jie went right up to its side and managed to inflict a Critical Hit to its rib, and he ripped it apart . Its body was raised up and thrown against the three other advancing soldiers . Upon contact, the handicapped soldier exploded from the impact, and all that was left was a wreckage of bones .
This result shocked the two men in the shadows! The bones of the Skeleton monsters were a lot harder than usual ones, and it would take even Broken Blade a lot of trouble for it to slice through them—it would at most leave a few scars . However, Lin Jie made the monsters of the same composition collide and even made one of them the target of the other three, causing it to break into pieces—what kind of sorcery was that?
While the two men were still in shock, Lin Jie used his method again and smashed the second Skeleton Soldier to bits . This tactic did not cause him any damage, but the Skeleton Soldiers were in a wreck on the ground, and could no longer cause him any more harm .
“Summon more Undead and reform them!” SeConquering Shield said evilly as he raised his hands, and vibrations began emitting from it . At the same time, countless palms appeared from the soil—they belonged to the Skeleton Soldiers!

Lin Jie’s Broken Blade seemed to transform into a thunder whip, and the soldiers’ Smash attack became his aid to dismember them . Lin Jie’s footwork was hard to locate, and after practicing Vanishing Step, this technique seemed to have improved . The two men in the shadows were dizzy from trying to locate him, and how much harder would the soldiers take it?
“F*ck!” SeConquering Shield exploded, and he unleashed his full force towards manipulating the Undead . Countless Skeleton Soldiers emerged from the soil and bolted towards Lin Jie . There were over 100 of them this time! They lined up into a row and planned to smash Lin Jie to pieces!
The next moment, Lin Jie’s Holy Light Winged Armor flapped as he activated Feather Drop and levitated in the air . He felt good as he blasted out his Blade Aura .
SeConquering Shield did not admit defeat, and he resorted to just activating the Skeleton Soldiers’ Enraged Mode—Undead Enrage . Every attack would deplete 1% of their health points and inflict equal damage onto its target . They were also able to attack airborne targets .
Finally, Lin Jie floated down .
The Skeleton Soldiers were trembling in excitement as Lin Jie finally appeared in their vision . They swarmed up against him, and the rusty sword tips glowed blood red . This was the effect of Enrage . However, Lin Jie did not attack, but instead, he combined Broken Blade and the Supplementary Sword and blasted it out at an angle before dragging it back with the mutated spiderweb strands .
After Strength Judgement, 20 Skeleton Soldiers ahead of Lin Jie were dragged up into the air and blocked Lin Jie . He then unleashed Dragon’s Roar and caused the other soldiers to retreat . The soldiers’ assholes, uh, backs, were then taken over by the other soldiers that bolted up .

In actual fact, the more condensed the monsters, the easier it was to manipulate them . For example, at the start, when there were only 4 soldiers, Lin Jie had to pinpoint their exact location in order to alter their attack routes to dodge them . However, with a bunch of them, things were much simpler as he could build a wall with any of them, plus their attacks on Lin Jie were almost negligible . With the Bloody Demonic Ring, he would be able to regain all the health points .
Half of the Skeleton Soldiers were killed during the hour-long tug-of-war, while the remaining half was partially dismembered, and their limbs fell, scattered on the ground . Lin Jie grinned as these skeletons were the original bodies of the soldiers . With over 100 of them here, the EXP would be incredible .
“Thunderstorm! Lightning Spear Strike!”
Currently, these two skills were Lin Jie’s strongest combination . The large AOE Paralysis of Thunderstorm, with Lightning Spear Strike’s Conduction damage, resulted in countless soldiers’ bodies emitting smoke as damage values popped above their heads!
