Torre raised his double axes and jumped up into the air . Both revolving axes were slashed down upon a Hunter’s head, who suffered double damage but still managed to dodge partially . The axes landed, stuck deep into the ground .
Following which, Torre’s burly figure descended like a giant from mid-air . The two half-buried axes vibrated vigorously and flew back to Torre’s hands like rays of light as if they felt themselves being summoned by their owner . Immediately, Torre slashed them down on the Hunter’s head again!

This set of damage stunned all the Hunters! After all, the damage which Lin Jie could deal out without any Critical Hits was also around this amount, after he had acquired the Dark Blade!
This series of techniques was the reason why Torre could survive in the game for so long . It was a combination of two rare skills, the [Double Revolving Axes] and [Consecutive Giant Axe] . These two skills were not connected in any way initially . The first skill was a combo attack of its own with a very short cooldown period, but it required one to throw out their weapons . However, a Warrior without a weapon was akin to a tiger without its teeth—one could just imagine in how much danger the player could get if they used this skill alone .
Yet, the latter Consecutive Giant Axe skill nicely complemented this shortcoming! The Consecutive Giant Axe skill was originally a skill used to prevent others from disarming one’s weapons, and it could be activated when one did not hold on to any weapons . It would allow the weapon to come back to the player’s hands, and even cause a weaponry attack of 250%!
Torre followed up with several normal attacks and killed the Hunter in front of him . He turned and brawled loudly, lifting himself into mid-air again while swiveling his axes . With another loud slam, his three axes’ attacks descended down upon another Hunter!
A group of Warriors, who activated their Forward Charge, kept up with Torre’s attacks . They were like tigers being released into a flock of sheep, and the Hunters’ team all fled in horror at the sight of them!
Meanwhile, Lin Jie’s eyes were fixed upon Demon Robe’s actions . The Silver-Feathered Eagle flew up into the sky silently and watched the battlefield from mid-air, allowing Lin Jie to have full sight of the whole battlefield from above . As he observed quietly, he was suddenly struck by what he saw .
‘These Hunters’ reactions don’t seem right! Why do they all flee, instead of putting up a fight against our attacks? Surely, it can’t be that the Dark-Robed Knights have become this weak?!’
“Be careful of hidden traps . Once the Hunters stop moving, we retreat too . ” Lin Jie gave a command within the team’s channel and shifted his focus away from observing the battlefield . He picked up his pace and ran towards Demon Robe’s figure, who was fading away!
This skill of Demon Robe was called [Phantom] . By the looks of it, he seemed only to have learned this particular skill out of the whole Advanced Skill Set . Most probably, Demon Robe would learn the other complementary skills after he completed his Advanced Job-Change .

[Phantom]: This will increase 5% of your Agility passively . You can leave an illusion of your figure on the spot actively and exchange bodies with any of the illusions within a 200-meter area . This was a storage kind of skill, and one was allowed to place up to five illusions . This meant that the already agile Bandits could then have an additional five times the chances of ‘instant teleportation’ at any time!

Two seconds later, Lin Jie stepped in front of him .
“You followed me, indeed . I have warned you before, you are too haughty for your own good, and I am right on spot,” scoffed Demon Robe . He twirled two daggers around in his hands, and both gave off shimmering blood-red gleams .
Lin Jie had a cold look on his face . He suddenly entered Enraged Mode, and both Broken Blade and its Supplementary Sword reached Demon Robe’s neck . Cold Blade Auras exploded at once!
Forced Invisibility!
The moment the Blade Auras exploded, Demon Robe activated the Forced Invisibility Skill, and his figure disappeared immediately . He scoffed in mid-air . “Kill!”
A ripple seemed to pass through the air . Lin Jie threw a brief look around him, and realized there were not less than 30 Bandits lying in ambush around him!

Various Crowd Control skills were thrown at Lin Jie . After all, Bandits were known for their strong crowd control abilities . They would then ambush their targets and stun their targets for as long as two seconds, and use the Cripple Skill during this time to reduce their targets’ Stats . This group of Bandits was clearly aiming to kill Lin Jie in one go!
“Hehe, how dumb of you . Demon Robe, do you only have such simple tricks up your sleeves? “Such mediocre tricks,” scoffed Lin Jie, as sounds of thunder were risen up from his muscles . The armor which covered his skin lighted up as if there were thunder running all over it . This was the skill that complemented the Thunder Blade—Thunder Armor!
Lin Jie activated Thunder Descent then, and with a wave of Broken Blade, several gusts of Blade Auras materialized into whips of thunder, beating down upon the Mages! Along with the crackling sounds of thunder, the numbing effects of this skill disrupted the Ice Mages’ crowd control spells .
In general, Ice Mages had the most effective crowd control spells, Wind Mages could conjure up spells the fastest, Fire Mages’ skills had the most powerful effects, while Thunder Mages’ skills had the greatest repelling abilities .
The Thunder Mages’ attacks were completely immuned with the Thunder Descent Skill . Although the Wind Mages’ and Fire Mages’ spells still posed dangers for Lin Jie, he had the Enchanted Scaly Armor and Holy Light Winged Armor, which held off those attacks pretty well .
The real trouble was in curbing the Ice Mages’ crowd control spells—and thus, Lin Jie had decided to fix his attacks upon them first!
With the disruption of the Ice Mages’ spells, Lin Jie recovered his affected Movement Speed . He activated the Shield Cut skill, the Wind Rider Blade Aura Executioner skill, and shot gusts or blade auras out at the Ice Mages with his whips of thunder .

There was a loud burst heard from the mid-air . Tens of Ice Mages’ bodies were paralyzed by this attack, and their health bars were reduced by three-quarters!
“His attacks are too strong, we can’t hold out against them! Use the Ice Wall to trap him, and blast him with spells until he dies!” An Ice Mage shouted at the top of his voice . By the looks of it, he seemed like the team’s section leader . Waving his wand around, an Ice Wall, the height of one grown man and with two meters in width, was conjured up . Lin Jie was about to be frozen within it!
The Ice Wall spell was an Ice Mage’s basic skill . They were able to conjure up Ice Walls based on the successful judgment of their Mana Points and Wisdom Points against the same Stats of their target’s, and activating this spell would use up their Health Points .
Lin Jie raised up Broken Blade . Blood surged around in his body as he activated the Blood Power skill! With a slash of his sword, the thick Ice Wall was shattered into pieces, crumbling away into ice!
The Mages were unable to hide the shock on their faces at this scene . This Ice Wall had caused at least 2,000 of their health points in total!
It was a known fact that human Mages had beginning talents in their Wisdom Stats, and Mages would have at least 10 or more Wisdom points than Warriors of the same levels in general . One single Wisdom point could determine the success in the judgment of attacks—hence breaking down the Ice Wall meant that Lin Jie obviously had around the same or more Wisdom points than them! Yet, how was this possible, considering that he was a Warrior?
Though horrified by what they saw, none of the Mages could do anything else, except to continue blasting Lin Jie with their magic spells .
Under normal circumstances, a Warrior’s Wisdom Stats would never be any higher than a Mage’s Wisdom Stats of the same level . Once a judgment of the Warrior’s Stats against a Mage’s Stats was determined as ‘inferior’, it would be impossible for the Warrior to do anything against an Ice Wall of 2,000 health points . Unless the skill was called off, the Ice Wall would never disappear .
However, Lin Jie had consumed the Aquatic World’s water during the Fishing Festival . Although his Wisdom Stats were nothing near to Ophadi Wantless’s and Domestic Fat Cattle’s Wisdom Stats, it was about the same as these Mages now! Furthermore, he had Broken Blade, which made breaking apart the Ice Wall an easy feat for him!
Yet to this group of Mages, this was such a despairing fact! They finally realized how strong Codename Lone Wolf was—he was, after all, someone who could mess up the Three Alliances’ plans!

The group of Shield Specialists, who was supposed to be strongest for their Defenses, had their formation slashed apart by Lin Jie just by this single strike! Lin Jie took a step back, and as though he was making a precise shuffle step, he dodged the Shield Strikes by the Shield Specialists group and landed behind all of them .
What made him most amused was that now all the Shield Specialists were standing in a fan-shape formation in front of him—which was the best formation for him to maximize his skill’s AOE, and kill off all of them in one go!

His attacks were perfect . Each blade aura shot through at least 20 or more players, maximizing the effects of his skills!
After all, how players positioned themselves in a holographic game would determine the effects of their skills . In half a second, this strategic point where Lin Jie was standing on would be gone due to any change of positions on his or his opponents’ side . However, he had accurately grasped the chance of this half-second and hence was able to deal out the maximal Damage with just a few skills!

Rows of Warriors’ bodies fell down consecutively, and their souls floated up . Lin Jie glanced at them briefly before keeping all their souls .

If another person had Broken Blade, he would not be able to cause such effects! This was because the way players operate would affect the effectiveness of their weapons . Not everyone could fully utilize and maximize Broken Blade’s powerful attributes—except Lin Jie!
Lin Jie threw a cold look at the remaining Shield Specialists who were still alive and grinned . With a slash of Broken Blade, gusts of blade auras shot out—and those poor Shield Specialists were finished off!
There was a mild tremble in the air as if someone was being shocked by Lin Jie . However, it was gone in an instant .
Lin Jie threw a look in that direction . Moving his legs, he followed behind Demon Robe’s luring figure .
