Orcc’s death was not just a mere loss of manpower for the team . All Druids, regardless of whether they were Arcane Druids, Beast Druids, or Healer Druids, had the skill Combat Resurrection—or more commonly known as Battle Rez . Its effects were very straightforward—resurrect one of the players’ teammates during battle .
The Battle Rez skill’s cooldown period was as long as six hours . However, this skill was still a great advantage when a team was battling a Boss . Considering how this team managed to challenge a Boss with just PK sets, Lin Jie guessed the crux of their success must be due to the Battle Rez skill .
Lin Jie held onto the two bottles of the Holy Light Rejuvenation Potion, and his eyes gleamed . ‘Do they want me to owe them a favor?’
In that case, he shall gladly accept these potions! After all, each bottle of the Holy Light Rejuvenation Potion was worth five Merit Points . Even if they were put up for auction at the Auction House, they would fetch at least tens of gold coins!
However, these potions enjoyed such a high selling price only during this stage of the game . When all the players began to level up, the Holy Light Rejuvenation Potion would lose its attractiveness .

The Boss directed its skill at another member, and this time round, it was at the Paladin Windy Hum! He looked shocked, but with a wave of his hands, he cast the Divine Shield skill right at the moment the Boss’ attack struck him! An invincible light shield enshrouded his armor—he was now in a state of absolute defense and was Invincible! The Blood Explosion attack exploded in front of him . Other than causing a bloody mist, Windy Hum escaped unscathed from this attack!
“Bro, get out of the way, I can help you hold off the Boss’ attacks for a while . ” Windy Hum’s Divine Shield skill still had seven more seconds before its effects fade off, and it would be such a waste if he did not make full use of it . With the Divine Shield, he blocked off all of the Blood Seeds .
However, the next second, shrieks were heard from other members of the team . Others got hit by the Blood Seeds!
At this moment, there were as many as 25 Blood Seeds around the vicinity . Once anyone was hit by two Blood Seeds, they would be dead . What made the situation worse was the Blood Explosion skill . As the team’s running areas were becoming more restricted, two or more members would definitely be killed whenever the Blood Explosion skill was activated!

However, while the Boss’ health bar was steadily decreasing, the team’s overall damage output was also dropping drastically . When he turned back from his attacks, Lin Jie realized the Blood Seeds were fast filling up the place . Like a laser beam shooting among the crowd, the Blood Seeds shot everywhere . Members of the team were so afraid of coming into contact with the Blood Seeds that they decided to hold onto a bottle of the precious Holy Light Rejuvenation Potion with their mouths all the time . They were all prepared to save their own necks should they sense any danger .
It was impossible to beat the Boss if everyone continued to be like this!

“Seven Blood Seeds are aiming for the Boss—BLOCK THEM!”
A shout was heard from within the team . Indeed, seven Blood Seeds were floating towards the Boss from different directions . If all of them reached the Boss, Scout Radner would recover 70,000 health points, while the rest of the team would be played to death by the Blood Seeds!
What’s worse was that at this moment, the Boss started pointing at Lin Jie . It was about to use the Blood Explosion skill on him!
There were a total of seven Blood Seeds . If the team did not handle this crisis well, the whole team would inevitably be wiped out!
All of them felt doomed . The only job who could repel the Blood Seeds were Paladins using the Divine Shield skill . However, Paladins were known for their slow speed, and they did not have any Forward Charge skills . Hence, this meant that it was impossible for the team to block the seven Blood Seeds . Yet even if the team was willing to sacrifice seven members of other jobs to block off the Blood Seeds, they would be unable to fight with the Boss in its latter Enrage mode . This meant they would still be killed no matter what!

At this moment, Lin Jie stepped up to Scout Radner and activated the Feather Drop skill . The heavy weight caused by the armor he wore disappeared . Dashing towards the Blood Seed, which was coming down at the Boss’ head, he flicked it out with a strike of his sword!
Whilst activating the Feather Drop, Lin Jie weighed almost nothing, just like the Blood Seed . When his sword came into contact with the Blood Seed, it was flung out immediately! After which, Lin Jie changed his direction and flew towards the left side of the Boss, flicking away yet another Blood Seed . The Blood Explosion skill exploded at him at this moment . However, instead of injuring Lin Jie, it helped him change to another direction and speed up his movement there!

Lin Jie dealt out only seven strikes, and each of his strikes was as if having gone through precise machine calculations—he knew exactly where he should fly to deflect the next Blood Seed, how he should position himself, and what kind of stroke he should use . The whole set of attacks was smooth and simply marvelous!
The humblest player would just notice this expert jumping up and changing positions deftly in the mid-air while deflecting all of the Blood Seeds away from the Boss . However, the most awesome part of his attacks lay in the fact that the directions where the Blood Seeds were flicked out to were all places where least players would go to, hence effectively avoiding more casualties in the team .

“Great! Brothers, let’s buck up too! Captain Windy Hum, shall we use that tactic?”
“Yeap yeap! Even an outsider had given his all for us, it doesn’t make sense that we remain so cowardly!”

“OMG, look at the damage output rankings within the team! Wth, my reputation as the team’s strongest Fire Mage is going to be tarnished!”
Windy Hum was stunned . He opened up the damage output rankings panel and was shocked to discover Lin Jie’s name in the top position . In fact, he had pwned the supposedly ‘team’s strongest Fire Mage’ by 50,000 points!
As Windy Hum was nearest to Lin Jie, he understood perfectly how stressful it was for Lin Jie . Every one of the Blood Seeds that neared the Boss had been forced to change directions with his blade auras, and all while avoiding the other team members on the battlefield . If not, the casualty count for the team would have been doubled!
Meanwhile, Lin Jie was startled . ”That tactic’? What’s that supposed to mean?’
“Druids, use Battle Rez now! We are using ‘that tactic’!” Upon a huge wave of Windy Hum’s hands, all his team members cheered excitedly . Regardless of whether they were Warriors, Mages or Priests, all of them stopped their attacks and gulped down the Holy Light Rejuvenation Potion . Meanwhile, they seemed to be searching for something in their pockets, while rushing forward to Scout Radner!

With a boom of green light, Orcc also revived himself . He changed to his human form and started taking out something from his bag too .
“Just . . throw all of them at it!”
Every one of the 200 plus players was seen holding on to at least 10 or more scrolls in their hands . Upon an order from Windy Hum, they tore up the scrolls and threw all of them at Scout Radner!
Lin Jie widened his eyes . ‘Wth, this is just a group of damn wastrels!’
The scrolls were Spell Scrolls . Spell Scrolls were made by Advanced Mages or other jobs with high Mana capabilities, and they were basically tools that contained sealed magical powers and instructions of these people . The sealing process of such scrolls was very tedious . Not only would the enchanter be required to chant three times as much, he or she would also require massive amounts of Mana points and precious ingredients to make a Spell Scroll .
One example would be the [Illusionary Trace Spell Scroll], which Lin Jie owned previously . Even though the sealing process was super tedious, Spell Scrolls were very easy to use—one could just tear it up and release its powers!
What this group of players held in their hands were all such Spell Scrolls—and all of them were of no mediocre qualities! This seemed like the scrolls which they had painstakingly accumulated from accomplishing all sorts of missions at Midolhaar . From the least powerful scrolls like Frostbolt, Fireballs, and other elemental arrows, to the more powerful scrolls like Tiger Roar, Fighting Slash and Fire-Thunder Spear—all of them were now throwing these scrolls anyhow at the Boss!
All of these scrolls would be highly-sought after items if they were put up for auction at the Auction House! Not even Lin Jie, who was filthy rich in the game, would bear to throw all of these scrolls at a Boss .
However, since all of these players had been playing on the Midolhaar map for a long period of time, it made sense that they would have accumulated a large number of unwanted spell scrolls when they accomplished all types of missions . It then seemed somewhat financially-acceptable that they were using such scrolls to kill a Boss the levels of the Scout—they were hardly at a loss .
Nevertheless, Lin Jie could only gape wordlessly at the lit-up sky, which was now filled with rays of light emitted from the Spell Scrolls . The Boss’ body was unable to tolerate attacks of such prowess, and its health points were decreasing rapidly—it was now left with just 30,000 points!
“Ahhhhhhhh! You filthy living creatures, enjoy Death’s embrace now!”
“Blood Explosion! Blood Explosion!”
With the Boss’ health points dropping swiftly, its whole body turned blood-red . It pointed its finger continuously at the players . Immediately, seven or eight players exploded and dropped down dead . Unfortunately, Orcc was targeted again—as he was being killed, his expression was one of great depression .
The Scout opened its arms . As if being attracted by this scene, all of the Blood Seeds flew towards the Boss’ body! As time passed, the number of Blood Seeds at the scene had now increased to 30 . If all of them came into contact with the Boss, it would recover 300,000 health points immediately!
What’s even more terrifying was that the Blood Seeds were all flying towards the Boss at the same time . It was impossible for Lin Jie to block all of them just by himself!
“Paladins, activate your Divine Shields! The rest of you block the seeds with your bodies!”
Since they had come to this stage, Windy Hum had lost his calm . Not only did he order his teammates to become his cannon fodder, but he also rushed towards the Boss in a frantic attempt to block the Blood Seeds .
Lin Jie was alarmed by this scene . ‘Oh, no!’
When the Boss entered its Enraged mode, another of its hidden skills would be activated: Virtual Absorption! This meant that any attacks upon the Boss would result in the formation of another Blood Seed . During this stage, the best strategy would be to let the player with the highest damage output continue attacking, while the rest of the team stopped immediately! Or else, even Paladin Grey would be unable to get out of this place alive once hundreds of Blood Seeds were formed .
“Stop! STOP!” Lin Jie shouted at the top of his voice, but he was too late!
Hundreds of attacks fell upon the Boss! However, what damage could they do to the Boss? The Boss was now still in its unactualized form, and each of the attacks could cause less than 10 damage points . The players’ efforts to kill the Boss was futile! As the attacks ended, 300 plus Blood Seeds rushed out from the Boss like gigantic waves . In the blink of an eye, they flew about everywhere and hit everybody, sending them to their deaths!
The next second, Lin Jie found himself the only standing player at the scene! Not only that, all the dead players were transformed into Bloody Skeletons . They reached out bloody claws, and started attacking Lin Jie!
What made Lin Jie even more livid was the fact that numerous Blood Seeds were flying towards the Boss . Its health bar was just left with 10,000 points now, but after a few seconds, it might as well recover all of its health!
“Everyone, listen to my orders, release your souls!”
Since things had come to this, Lin Jie could only use his last resort . With a flick of his fingers, a Runestone with glistening Holy Light appeared in mid-air . This was the ‘Holy Light Grace’, the legendary portable grave! It could absorb players’ souls limitlessly and allowed them to choose whether or not to revive themselves .
“Revive!”
“Revive!”
With a flash of white light, several human bodies leaped up from the ground . Yet at the next second, they were instakilled by the Blood Seeds again . However, the revived players managed to change the direction of the Blood Seeds!
Rays of bright light emitted from Lin Jie’s body as he activated Flame Boost, Thunder Blade, and Blade Aura Executioner all at the same time! Broken Blade slashed down upon the Scout with mighty prowess, coupled with the blessings from Holy Light!

Lin Jie dealt out five Critical Hits! The Boss’ health bar was almost emptied now . Tens of Blood Seeds flew towards Lin Jie and were about to smash into his body . Lin Jie didn’t care about this and continued striking out with Broken Blade .
‘It’s either success or death!’
“Die!”
Broken Blade slashed down upon the Boss’ head with Flame Boost, shooting out gusts of blade auras! The mass of stinky bloody mist rose up after a loud boom . The Scout was finally killed! The tens of Blood Seeds which nearly hit Lin Jie’s body dissipated into the air .
Lin Jie’s eyes gleamed . He shouted in the team’s channel, “Quick, revive yourselves now! We need to clear the Bloody Skeleton!”
The corpses of the dead players, which were previously revived by the Scout and some of the earth, had been transformed into Bloody Skeletons . There were 350 of them! However, as long as all the rest of the players revived themselves, it wouldn’t be difficult to clear all of the Bloody Skeletons! This was because one of the Blood Swamp’s Raid commanders, Scout Radner, was now dead . Its remaining bloody mists would become the best supplements for everyone—it could increase the players’ combat capabilities greatly!
Yet… Surprisingly, not a single one of them responded to Lin Jie’s calls .
